Devin's Point of View
As annoying as it was, my meeting with that sassy female just didn't want to leave my head regardless of how hard I had been trying to push the thought of her away.
Who the heck is she? I wondered in annoyance.
"Who the heck is she?" I was almost unaware when I had voiced it all out while driving. I had pushed my hand against the seat in front of me, causing the man who was now at the wheels to jilt forward, and involuntarily blaring the horn in everyone's ears. I could see the displeasure in the eyes of the men in the car with me.
But I couldn't care less as I didn't owe anyone an explanation for my actions. I just wanted to get that day over with as soon as I could. The morning had been turbulent enough and I just couldn't wait until the night would fall.
"Sir... you're getting too worked up..." Jordan was quiet the moment I hit him with a cynical glance that made him fidget a little. "Ian is out there settling things with them, you have nothing to worry about. You should be more focused on the―"
"The meeting yeah..." I cut him short as I was trying my best to keep my mind on the meeting as much as I could. But my mind wasn't going to stop drifting away to her.
For some reason, I was sure I had seen her somewhere, as she seemed to resonate with... "Ugh..." I cut my thoughts short as I just didn't want to think about her again.
Her piercing blue eyes kept shining in my thoughts along with all her features which were quite palatable. But then, my current state of mind wasn't going to let me see any sort of beauty in anything at all.
"I don't think you should... sir... have you been listening to anything I've been saying?" Jordan called out to me and that made me realize that he had been saying something to me in the first place.
"What is it?" I asked as I looked over in his direction with my brows furrowed in annoyance. I disliked my behavior which was a bit like that of a pregnant woman as everything seemed to get on my nerves for no just cause. "What were you saying?"
"I was reading out the prescriptions Ian had written out with the drugs..." he muttered as he seemed to be scared of my angered state. "He says you have to take this twice a day..." he said, taking out a small yellow pill bottle that made me feel nauseous.
I turned my eyes away from it as it just wasn't appealing. But then, I would have to take it anyway. "Call Ian..."
"That wouldn't be necessary, sir..." he stopped halfway again as I stared at him angrily. "I'll call him right away... but sir... you would need to take the drugs so you could be at the meeting which we are already late for."
I hated the sound of that as I hesitantly took the pills from him. That made me feel even more nauseous, but then, the tightening sound in my stomach made me realize just how much I needed the pills.
"Wait a minute..." I said as the rumbling in my stomach made me recall just where I had seen her. "That wretch..."
"What's the matter sir...?" Jordan asked as he was with the phone against his ear. He seemed to have already been on the line with Ian.
"I'm so going to kill her...!" I surely had everyone on the car startled with that one.

"I'm so going to kill her!" a voice yelled angrily from Ian's phone. He was almost startled to the point of letting go of his phone.
He put on a fake smile that didn't last as he regained his composure to answer the call that had interrupted the conversation we had been having. The voice sounded a lot like that of the man with the silver hair.
"Sorry about that..." Ian said with embarrassment that he was trying to keep me from showing in his face as he was turning away to make the call, but we could hear everything that went on in the conversation.
"What's going, Jordan...?" he asked gently as he was looking out of the window. "Why's he getting so worked up?"
At that point, I was hoping that nothing had gone utterly wrong. The silver-haired guy had sounded furious and it made me wonder if it had anything to do with the fact that he had spent so much time with us.
Georgia had been staring at him for a while and that made me wonder what could have been going through her mind. She was almost looking like those movie characters would look when they would run into the one they were supposed to be in love with.
"He looks so cute..." Georgia mouthed to me without making a single sound. She just had to show a glimpse of her naughty side right at that moment.
I shook my head as I didn't have any other words to say to her. There was just too much on my mind as I was trying to work my way around the dilemma of heading home or going for my gig at Vix Place.
The day had begun with me being in high spirits, but there I was, feeling like I had just reached the right time to give up already.
"Is he going to keep making me feel like I am some sort of...?" Ian sighed as he finally got a hold of himself as he seemed rather displeased with the phone call. "He has the drugs and the prescriptions. It's going to be fine. I have to go now."
Then he turned around to look at Georgia with a smile. He was suddenly looking all cool and calm like he hadn't been on the verge of losing it a few moments ago.
"Let's get you the Vix and your home..." there seemed to be something suspicious with the way they were smiling at each other.
