Bumbumbum Catch.
I once again bounce the tennis ball and catch it while reading a PAD about transporter mechanics. Just because I will be stuck in this hole for a month don't mean I want to waste it. Since I was stuck here a week ago, I have had several arguments with Janeway but she is adamant that what I did was wrong even though Tuvok actually agree that from my perspective what I did was quite logical even if I was mistaken.
Something he cant swear that I was because the other telepath was so much stronger than him.
The punishment is dealt out anyway. A month in the brig and then six months without holodeck or replicator rations.
At least I managed to get some entertainment in here. I managed to convince the crewman guarding the cells to get me a PAD and a tennisball. He was hesistant but the argument "What the hell are I going to do that break security with those that I cant already do with these?" and gave him a mechanical wave solved that problem.
Smirking slightly I once again bounce the ball of three bulkheads and catch it. I bet after a week he is regretting that decision.
The visits from Seven, Neelix, Harry and Tom give me the general idea about how the crew feel about it. They think I did the right thing even if I might have been a bit harsh about it, but go along with the Captain because she is the Captain.
Oh well, a month isn't that bad. The six months without replicator rations will be worse though...no tea and no upgrades during that time.
Wonder if I could convince Harry to...and thats all I have time for before I glance up as the door to the corridor open and Seven walk in to the guard station to stand outside my cell.
"I have been attacked." and I frown slightly
"By who?" as she swallows
"A weapon dealer named Kovin. We where purchasing additional weapons from him to strengthen Voyagers defenses. While isolated from the rest of the team I was attacked and my nanoprobes extracted. He blocked my memory of the incident but the Doctor managed to reverse the process." sighing I put my PAD down
"I wish I could help, but I am stuck in here. What are the Captain doing?"
Seven frown slightly "They are...investigating the matter. She believe me and they are attempting to find evidence to back my recollection of events."
I slowly nod "I don't got any evidence, nor was I there. I believe you when you say you where attacked Seven, but I don't know how I could help with the investigation from here. My suggestion however is to let Tuvok handle the investigation. He got training in that kind of thing and he is resonably competent at what he do."
Seven frown "Tuvok believe my memories of the events are...incorrect." and I give her a small smile
"Regardless, He is to much of a Vulcan to let things like that get in the way of a comprehensive investigation. He is your best choice in the matter...Hell, he would be even if I wasn't stuck in here. I got no training in that kind of thing."
She nod slowly "I will let him conduct his investigation..." as I nod
"He will find out the truth. I believe you, but memories can be mistaken. Normally that wouldn't apply to you Seven, but your human physiology have been reinserting itself. While you might not like the idea, its still a possibility."
Seven look distinctly unhappy but nod "Agreed."
