Asol's PoV
"It's been a few weeks since I was transported here to Earth and I have been enjoying it.
Working as a manager for an idol company has been quite an interesting experience adapting to this world's customs.
After debuting for the first time in Fujiwara's stream, I seemed to have made it into this world's news headline.
*Dystopian Survivor is world famous idol, Fujiwara Kane's manager???*
Or something like that.
I guess me putting myself out there as one of the many who survived their world being destroyed makes for an interesting story. Especially when journalists and others connected the dots of me being the One Armed Wonder who killed a Kaiju in one punch.
And speaking of my arm, you all must be very curious as to why I haven't gotten a prosthetic yet. The thing is, I just can't. It reminds me of all that I lost.
So now I am basically working and walking around with just my left arm in use. Which makes the manager job difficult.
Oh right! I didn't tell you guys this but because I'm working for the KAC, I've been given a nice place to call home. In which you guys can pretty much see."
*Working for the KAC has its perks!*
*W Mans*
*I hope you recover and do eventually get one.*
"Heh, heh. Thank you uh... User: Golden Queen? Thank you."
...
...
...
"Whew..."
Working as a manager was not what I thought I'd be doing since I obviously have no knowledge on how to be a manager in the first place.
With the help of the CEO and Fujiwara, I managed to get a comfortable living space in the form of an apartment.
I was resting in my living room after my first live stream on V-Tube. Managers can stream if they want to, since they are in some regards an "Idol."
Scoring about three hundred thousand followers in the first stream is quite a feat compared to when those like Fujiwara started out with just a few thousand.
Speaking of Fujiwara, I gotta fill out some paperwork in order for her to collab with an overseas idol named Arhat Gotami.
Her fans call her "The Elightened One." Apparently she achieved Nirvana. Whatever that is...
But this collab is one that many fans of both Fujiwara and Arhat Gotami have been waiting for.
RING RING RING RING RING!
Hm?
What the-
"Asol?"
"Uh hi?"
The CEO...
"Ah! Asol! Nice! I got the right number!"
Right number? What was he going to do if he had called another person?
"Hey CEO. How's your day been?"
"Ah, it's been quite fine. How's the house? Any problems?"
I look up to see a noticeable crack in the ceiling.
"Nah, everything is fine. Thanks for asking. But that's not why you're calling me for is it?"
"Right! Thanks for reminding me. I almost forgot heh."
Heh...
"The reason I'm calling you is because- Actually you know what? Come on down to HQ. You'll see."
"HQ?"
"Did I stutter?"
"Uh... Nope. Coming right now!"
I wonder whats going to happen over there?
...
...
...
(30 minutes later)
The CEO's secretary greeted me outside the building and led me inside to an elevator.
"Where are we going?"
"Down."
As we descended floors into the basement, we exited the elevator to be met by a ridiculously large open space that was encased by concrete all around us.
"Whoa! You can fit an entire town in here!"
I turned to the secretary in awe to find that she had disappeared.
"Asol! Welcome!"
The CEO's voice rang throughout the large spacious room as he was standing in the middle of it.
"How do you like this!?"
His voice once again rang out.
"Uh, it's quite spacious in here!"
My voice echoed.
I eventually made it to where the CEO was standing.
"Welcome to the training room Asol! This is where you will hone your abilities against the Kaiju threat. As well as holding your ground against others."
"Wow... Wait, against others?"
"You heard correctly."
If you could see the look confusion on my face, you'd probably make the same face.
"What do you mean about me fighting others?"
"Asol. What do you know about the KAC?"
"Well, KAC is an acronym for Kaiju Annihilation Corps. You guys fight and fend off the Kaiju threat from destroying our realities."
"Okay and?"
"And..."
Yea I've got nothing else...
"Asol. Asides from fending off the Kaiju threat, we deal those who misuse their powers, those who want to do harm and even those who want to commit malicious acts. To name a few-"
"No, no, no. I think I'm good."
"That's why here on Earth, you rarely see chaos. And I assume it was the same for your home too."
"Yea..."
A grin appeared on the CEO's face.
Click!
A light appeared behind us, forming into a Kaiju.
ROAAAAAAAAR!
The CEO turned and destroyed with a drop kick.
SHRIEEEEK!
THUD!
"Wow..."
The CEO turned to me grinning.
"Holograms. This is how we train, Asol."
Another bright light appeared, this time in front of me, forming into a Kaiju.
SHRIEEEEK!
"Now, don't underestimate these holograms. They're about as strong as the real deal. Also, I'll be having Toma train you!"
It was almost as tall as the ceiling.
"Uh... CEO? This seems a bit over-"
I turned to where the CEO stood. Or where he once stood. He was nowhere to be seen.
"Ah..."
I turned back towards the Kaiju Hologram.
"I wonder what Belle's first time was like?"
Wait, he said Toma is going to train me?

Fujiwara Kane's PoV
I wasn't always "managerless."
In fact in the years that I've been an idol and being part of the company, my manager was always with me.
His name was Kite.
Our performance in the company was the best out of all the talents.
We racked in most of the budget.
Kite was quite the kind and selfless person. He never spoke ill of anyone and never them anyone without reason.
We were best friends.
We were the power duo.
We were strong.
That was until that incident.
A few years prior to Asol coming here, my world was invaded.
Not by Kaijus.
No.
It was something that was more powerful than the Kaiju threat.
A rift in spacetime opened in the skies above Shibuya, Japan.
There was a major panic amongst the population. Those from the KAC who were present had prepped and evacuated all citizens to a safe location.
Me, Kite, Toma, Hikari, and others were dispatched to the scene.
We had initially thought that it was going to be Kaijus that were going to enter through the rift, however this time it was different.
An object no bigger than the average sized human passed through, slowly floating towards the ground.
It looked to be a rock of sorts.
Once it made contact with the earth, everything went dark and silent.
When I came to be, the once sunny sky was blocked by dark clouds.
We were in a crater far from its center and there were flames all around us.
But what I didn't notice, was that the entirety of Shibuya was wiped off the face of the Earth.
The first thought that went through my mind was:
Where was Kite? Where were the others? Were they okay?
I heard explosions that came from the center of the crater, and when I turned to its direction, I could see Kite fighting something.
The Aura that emanated from it was nauseating to where I was going to throw up even though I was a distance away.
It looked humanoid. It's skin was like a rock texture. Though from the impacts, it sounded more like a metal.
It was the object that came through the rift, and it was going to kill Kite.
I mustered all the energy I could and called upon Durandal and used a Divine Solidus towards the entity.
It was unaffected, being unfazed by my attack.
However I caught its attention as it then made a beeline for me.
But thats when I saw Kite's face.
He smiled warmly towards me and spoke in an inaudible tone.
I could see it.
He transferred all of his Aura into his right arm, and dug it into the entity's chest just before it reached me.
A large explosion followed right after.
After the dust settled all that could be seen was a large stone in front of me, all alone with Kite nowhere to be seen.
He had sacrificed himself, saving me and thousands of others from dying that day.
I shed many tears that day. Ones that I was never going to forget.
The rock was taken to our headquarters for further testing and studying it in a dormant state, as it seemed to be waiting for something.
This is an event that will never resurface again. In fact, it was one that no one would talk about.
"Fujiwara?"
"Eh?"
Ah...
I must've been thinking to myself again.
"Sorry Mr. CEO, I was lost in thought. Heh..."
"Heh, no worries."
I was called to HQ to oversee Asol in his training.
We were watching him from an elevated room at a distance away.
I have to say...
"He's a quick learner."
"Haha! I know right Fujiwara?"
BOOM!
Asol had already taken out a Hologram that was par with the one that he killed or rather protected me and the crowd from that day.
Ten minutes. Ten minutes was all it took to destroy that hologram.
Although...
"I see he still hasn't gotten a prosthetic?"
"He turned it down. Well, he keeps turning it down.
"I see. It's understandable. I think him not getting one has to do with what happened in his world."
"Unfortunately that is the case."
The CEO then turned to me.
"Fujiwara. I want you to be his support, just as I was for you."
I see why the CEO would want me to do so. After all, I lost Kite. And before all that happened, I was nothing.
Silence fell as we continued to observe Asol train.
He just started training today and he's catching on pretty quick.
"He's doing it quite easily with only just one arm, Fujiwara."
I nod.
The CEO chuckled.
"We may have a new breed. I wonder how he'd fare against others like him."
The CEO then glanced over at me.
"He could very well overpower you Fujiwara, if given the proper training and time."
Yea...
BOOM!
"AHHHHHHHHHHH!"
THUD!
Asol was launched towards us, with the glass that separated us breaking his landing, and him falling into the ground.
"Urgh..."
I could hear him moan in pain.
The CEO grinned.
"Say Fujiwara. Why don't you go down there and test his combat capabilities?"
The CEO said in a teasing voice.
Me? Test Asol? The CEO may as well be telling me to kill him.
"Aha. I think might kill him."
A nauseating, piercing, ringing sound rang through my ears, causing me to clutch my head as I feel to the floor. An Aura I hadn't felt in ages arose.
"Ahhhhhhh!"
"Fujiwara!"
The CEO caught me.
This...
What was this familiar Aura I was feeling?
Images of the stone rushed into my head.
I mustered up the energy to speak a few words.
"Mr. CEO... It's waking up..."
I could see him frown.
"It's almost time. They are making their move."
