Chapter 12 - She is in another world

Fujiwara Kane's PoV

For as long as I can remember, I've always had this feeling of emptiness inside me. I remember trying to understand why did.

Why did I feel this way?

Eversince the CEO took me in, he's filled the emptiness inside me through the means of fatherly love and interaction that I, at the time, was not familiar with.

But it wasn't enough. That emptiness was still far too great for only him to fill.

That was until I met Kite when the CEO took him in.

Kite was just like me. Although, he wasn't empty. He was full of energy. Full of enthusiasm. Full of determination.

He always saw the good in life, and even saw it in me even though I had nothing.

When he died sacrificing his life in order to save numerous lives, the emptiness that I hadn't felt in ages had overcame me.

He was everything to me. He was my anchor to reality. And now what once filled the empty void within me, was now gone.

That was until He showed up.

Asol Ansaldo.

When I first found him bleeding out on the wet cement, all I could think of was how similar he looked in comparison to Kite.

At first, thought it was a dream. But Toma and Hikari were there, and from how they reacted was real.

Was this a second chance?

Did fate bring this person to me?

As I interacted with him for the first time in that room, I could feel Him. I could feel Kite. I could feel my heart beat fast.

The emptiness inside me was beginning to fill up. It was like I never lost anything.

I was whole again.

And now I'm preparing for my first solo live concert for my fans, which is in a few days.

I've been rehearsing with Toma and Hikari up until now. Now I know it's a solo concert, but they wanted to join me. It just comes to show that I am cared for.

I first met the girls a few years before Kite's death. They so happened to be taken in by the CEO as well.

Our first interaction was on the sour side.

We didn't know what to do with each other.

We were complete strangers until a Kaiju appeared and attacked the industrial district.

Due to our unfamiliarity with each other, our teamwork was lackluster. It was lacking.

It was then Toma and Hikari showed off their power and abilities.

Everything that happened after was self explanatory.

And now they're dancing with me, singing with me, and fighting with me.

"You okay Fujiwara? You've been quiet. Too quiet."

"Ah!"

I forgot I was rehearsing with Toma. She insisted she join me today because she had no streams planned today.

We were sitting on the almost laminated wood floor of our studio, talking with each other.

"You've been going out of it more often recently. You alright?"

"I'm fine. Thank you."

"Heh..."

A smirk appeared on her face just as I said that.

"Boy troubles huh?"

"What?"

Boy troubles? Where did that come from?

Toma continued.

"You know what I mean? Asol. He's been living with you for a bit now and..."

"And?"

"He looks like Him."

Right...

"He does..."

"But, Fujiwara. Aside from that, what do you think of him? Asol, I mean."

"Asol? Uh. I think he is a good person. He's cute. But..."

"But?"

"Everytime I see him, he always seems to be in deep thought. I started to notice this when he first moved in with me."

"Hm..."

Toma thought to herself for a moment and then responded.

"I think it's gotta do with him losing his world, his family, his friend, and his arm. I think it's a way for him to cope?"

"Maybe..."

It seems that Asol still hasn't come to terms with it all that's happened to him. Especially his arm, since he refuses the prosthetic arms that the CEO offers him.

The CEO once told me a quote from a book that he read:

"The wound is the place where the Light enters you."

For Asol, his wound would obviously be his missing arm. The Light would be him enduring the hardships that he'd encounter here in this world, and coming to terms with himself.

Perhaps this was why the CEO wanted me to be his anchor.

"Uh. Fujiwara? Hello!"

"Ah!"

I almost forgot Toma was with me. Again...

"I'm sorry. I almost forgot you were here Toma."

"Yea! Twice! Anyways. It's my turn."

She answered her own question from earlier.

"I think he's strong and cute. But he's inexperienced. In fact during our latest training session, he created a massive hole in the wall on accident. He's still learning how to utilize his Aura."

"That's Asol for you."

I said as I chuckled lightly.

Toma then got up and stretched.

"Sigh. Alrighty! Enough about boys! It's time to dance! Again..."

I stood up and continued rehearsing for the eventual concert.

Unknown Person's PoV

Sigh. I saw this coming. AM, the Saviour I sent to observe the boy just engaged in a fight with him.

I know what you're thinking. AM? That's a weird name. Well, I gave em that name! You got a problem with that?

I am sitting on a throne in this god forsaken room that is littered with rusty metals and pipes.

This was not a place that for group such as mines to live in.

"Leader! They are back!"

Hm?

As a rookie Saviour opened the door, two more Saviours enter, and I stand up to greet them.

Their hoodies covered their faces, however I knew it was them.

"Ah! Welcome back! Patrick and AM. I sure hope you two didn't cause trouble for the boy."

I said as I raise both my arms.

The two bow before me and spoke.

Patrick started first with AM following.

"My Leader. I've brought AM back."

"Tch, you didn't bring me back! I came back of my own volition!"

Sigh. These two always had a problem with each other when I first recruited them on the brink of death. Well, they are brothers after all.

"Silence! Both of you! AM, I ordered your brother to bring you back here because it's time to set things in place."

"Oh? Right after I beat the kid, is the time?"

"Watch your words, brother."

These two...

I continued.

"The girl's concert is almost here. I want you two to be the first stage of our plan."

"And that is?"

AM asked as I continued.

"To bring as much of our forces and sneak them into the crowd as possible. The more you sneak in, the higher the success rate we'll have. I want you, AM, to cause chaos and panic in the crowd."

Patrick, with his spatial rifts is perfect for sneaking in members of our cult. Meanwhile, AM would be there to induce chaos and fear into the people with his elemental abilities. Though, it's going to be cold.

These two are my most trusted members. I taught them what the Kaijus are and their purpose.

Their loyalty to me comes first than their relationship as brothers.

As soon as we secure the girl in our grasp, we will use Patrick's abilities to bring us to the rock.

I know where it is. And Patrick will take us there.

But for what purpose do we have for the girl?

The girl's innate ability to see Aura is but a book title. What she can actually do is...

Remarkable.

Though, the rising of The One Armed Wonder that is, Asol Ansaldo.

We both will cross paths with each other during this event.

AM may have fought him and underestimated the boy.

But, I won't.

And neither will he once he encounters me.
