Synopsis
A girl had been locked away in a basement, her condition dire. Her wrists were tied with ropes, and her face reflected fear and exhaustion. Four men stood in the room, mocking her pain with twisted enjoyment. One of them laughed and said, “Don’t bother trying to escape, it’s impossible for you to get out of here.” Another added, “Let’s go outside for a smoke, leave her here to rot. We’ll be back in a while.” Laughing, the four men left the basement, shutting the door behind them. The girl quickly composed herself, determined to free herself from the ropes. After several moments of struggle, she finally loosened the bonds. Her hands and legs were badly bruised, but she ignored the pain and pushed forward. She slipped out of the basement and ran into the dark alley. Her torn gown fluttered in the cold night air, and her loose hair flew wildly behind her as she sprinted, her breath coming in sharp gasps. Despite the pain and fatigue, she didn’t stop. Silence surrounded her, except for the sound of her footsteps echoing in the night. Her body ached, but she kept going, her steps growing more desperate with every passing second. Eventually, she found herself at the edge of a dense forest. Through her blurred vision, she saw a river flowing ahead. There was a faint glimmer of hope in her eyes as she stumbled towards it. Kneeling by the water, she tried to drink, her hands shaking. But before she could take more than a few sips, her strength gave out, and she collapsed unconscious by the riverbank. Outside Mumbai – Edge of the Forest On the edge of this forest stood a grand cottage, owned by Abir Rajvansh. Abir Rajvansh – 30 years old, standing 6 feet 2 inches tall, with sharp features, a wheatish complexion, and a dark, commanding aura. On the surface, Abir appeared as a successful businessman, but deep down, his life was a storm of secrets. Cold and ruthless, Abir viewed the world as nothing more than a game to be played. His eyes always reflected a hidden hatred and anger, emotions he had buried deep within. The Personality of Abir Rajvansh Abir’s calm exterior hid a mind constantly at war. His past cast long shadows over his soul, making him indifferent to the emotions of others. To him, people were mere pawns, and those who dared to challenge him often found their lives reduced to ashes. He had never tasted defeat and knew how to erase his enemies in silence, leaving no trace behind. Abir had come to his cottage with a group of friends to celebrate his birthday. But their celebration was interrupted when one of his friends, who had gone near the river, discovered the unconscious girl lying there. Abir was informed immediately. He raised an eyebrow in surprise and said, “A girl? Out here, in this wilderness?” Questions filled his mind, but he knew something unusual was at play. When Abir saw the girl lying there, her lifeless face and disheveled state, he couldn’t take his eyes off her for a moment. There was a strange restlessness in his gaze that he didn’t quite understand. Without hesitation, he ordered his men to carry her inside the cottage. Now, the question loomed—who was this girl, and how had she ended up here? Abir was eager to uncover the truth, but something else stirred in his heart—an unfamiliar emotion that he couldn’t quite place.

Chapter 1 - "The Awakening"

A girl was locked in a basement, her condition dire, and her hands were tied with ropes. She was desperately trying to free herself. The four men keeping an eye on her were talking amongst themselves. One of them said, "There's no use struggling. You won't be able to escape from here." The second man then spoke, "Let's go have some tea outside. We'll be back in a little while." Another man agreed, "Yeah, let's go, brother." With that, all four of them left the basement.

As soon as they were gone, the girl resumed her attempts to free herself. After some struggle, she finally succeeded in untying the ropes from her hands. Limping, she stood up and, seeing the opportunity, made her way outside.

The girl, limping and injured, was running along an isolated road on the outskirts of Mumbai. Her legs were wounded, and her body was covered in bruises. She was running without stopping, her only focus being to escape. She was wearing an ankle-length gown, torn slightly from one side.

As she continued running, she suddenly hid behind a tree, panting heavily and gasping for air. Her eyes were filled with tears, and her blue eyes had turned red from exhaustion. Her lips were chapped and dry, and the fatigue was visible on her face. After resting for a few moments, she started running again, unaware that she had entered a forest.

After a while, she stopped and looked around, realizing that she had wandered into the forest. In front of her was a river. Seeing the water, a glimmer of hope appeared in her eyes, and she softly whispered, "W...water."

She rushed towards the river. As she reached the edge of the river, she knelt down and dipped her hands into the water, drinking a little with her trembling hands. But before she could drink more, she collapsed, unconscious, by the riverbank.

**Outside Mumbai (Old Factory)**

A large factory was engulfed in flames, with smoke billowing out from all directions. Several people nearby were trying to extinguish the fire, but the blazing flames seemed unaffected by their efforts, only growing stronger. Not far from the factory, a car was parked, and Abir was lying on its bonnet, smoking a cigarette while watching the scene.

As Abir watched the flames, he spoke to himself, "Just like these flames, that's the wrath of the Rajvansh empire. I'm used to being number one, and anyone who tries to make me second will face the same destruction. My anger will engulf them, and they'll be trapped, but they won't survive." As he said this, a sinister smile spread across Abir's face. He got off the bonnet, got into his car, and drove away.

**Abir Rajvansh**

Age: 25 years, height: 6'2", wheatish complexion, muscular body, extremely handsome, and possessing a royal attitude.

As attractive as Abir was, he was equally ruthless and hot-tempered. He was a cold, merciless type of man. Despite his menacing personality, Abir was one of the top businessmen, not just in Mumbai but internationally. His business empire spanned several countries, and everyone wanted to work with him. However, beneath his reputable facade, there was no illegal activity that Abir wasn't involved in.

He was the king of the underworld, though not many knew this, only a few close confidants. Abir Rajvansh was the emperor of crime.

The reason behind Abir becoming so cruel lay in his past—a traumatic history that had stripped him of everything and left him alone. It was those painful memories that kept haunting him, slowly turning him more dangerous with each passing day.

**Rajvansh Industries**

Abir arrived at his company and went straight to his cabin on the top floor. He sat in his chair, his eyes fixed on his laptop, intently focused on something. Just then, someone knocked on the door of his cabin. Without looking up from his laptop, Abir said, "Come in."

The moment Abir spoke, the cabin door opened, and the voices of three people filled the room, "Happy birthday to you! Happy birthday to you!" A young man placed a cake on Abir's desk. Abir looked at them quietly.

Standing before him were his college friends Adil, Harsh, and Priya.

Abir looked at them for a moment, then suddenly stood up and walked over to the glass window, looking out. He said in a calm voice, "You all know I don't celebrate my birthday. So why do you always do this?"

Adil quickly stepped forward, standing in front of Abir. "Bro, do you think we'd stop just because you don't want to celebrate? We're not going to let you get away with it this time!" Priya interjected, "Abir, today you're throwing us a party, and we won't take no for an answer." She giggled as she finished speaking.

Harsh chimed in, "So dude, which club are we hitting tonight? It's going to be fun!" He raised his hand in excitement, giving Priya a high-five.

Abir, standing with his back to the glass window, looked at Priya and Harsh. "I don't like this stuff. If you guys want to party, go ahead; I'll pay the bill. But I'm not interested in joining."

Adil smirked, "So, you're going to your usual spot tonight?"

Abir nodded, "Yes, because that's where I find peace. Like every other time, that's where I'll be going tonight."

Harsh replied, "Alright, friend. If you're going there, then this time, we're coming with you. We'll party there and have a blast!" Harsh shouted in excitement.

Before Abir could respond, Adil added, "You can't stop us, bro. Even if you say no, we're still coming along." Adil, Harsh, and Priya burst into laughter.

But Abir's face showed no smile, no trace of happiness—just calmness. Adil knew this very well.

Adil and Abir were close. In fact, Adil was the only person Abir trusted. Without words, Adil could read Abir's emotions just by looking at his face.

Adil said, "Alright, bro, you get back to your work. We'll wait outside." With that, Adil, Priya, and Harsh left the cabin.

As soon as they left, Abir's face became serious again. He walked back to the glass window, staring out. Memories began flooding his mind—memories of a girl, screaming, "Abir, save me! Abir, help!"

As the memories grew stronger, Abir was drenched in sweat. Suddenly, his phone rang, snapping him out of his thoughts. Abir calmed himself and answered the call. He silently listened to the person on the other end. Without saying a word, Abir ended the call, typed a message, and returned to the glass window, once again lost in those haunting memories.

Abir came out of his office, where Harsh, Priya, and Adil were already waiting for him by the car. As soon as Abir arrived, everyone got into the car, and they drove off. Abir was driving, his focus fixed straight ahead. Adil sat in the passenger seat, glancing between the road and Abir's face. He could tell that his friend was struggling with memories of his past.

Away from the hustle and bustle of the city, Abir had built a cottage in the forest. He always visited this cottage on his birthday. A river flowed a little beyond the cottage, and whenever Abir felt stressed or bored, he came here. It brought him peace. Everyone had arrived at the cottage. As soon as they did, Abir headed toward the bar area. He made himself a drink and, while heading to the balcony, said, "Guys, you can party here, but no one's going to drink too much. We have to get back to the city."

With that, he went out to the balcony. Adil turned to Harsh and said, "You get drinks for everyone, I'll put on some music."

Harsh nodded and went to the bar. A few minutes later, Harsh returned with drinks, and by then, Adil had turned on the music. Everyone was enjoying their drinks and dancing. After about half an hour, they were all exhausted and collapsed onto the sofas. Harsh turned off the music. Abir came inside and said, "So, the party's over." Saying this, Abir also sat down on the couch. Just then, Priya's phone rang. She answered the call, but it was cut off. Priya said, "Ugh, this network issue is so annoying."

Harsh replied, "Well, of course, the signal is weak, we're in the jungle." Hearing this, Priya stood up and started walking outside, saying, "Dad called, I'll see if I can find a spot with better signal so I can talk to him." Holding her phone in her hand, Priya raised it to try and catch some signal. Searching for network, she wandered toward the river, a little way from the cottage. Suddenly, Priya screamed loudly.

Hearing her scream, everyone rushed out of the cottage. They were shocked to see Priya, terrified and trembling. Abir quickly went up to her and said, "What happened, Priya? Why did you scream?" Harsh placed a hand on her shoulder and asked, "Why are you so scared, Priya? What happened?"

Priya, trembling, pointed in one direction and said in a shaky voice, "That girl..."

Everyone followed her gaze. Near the river, a girl was lying unconscious. She was in a terrible state. Seeing the girl, everyone's eyes widened in shock. They all went over to her and examined her.

The girl's face was covered by her hair, obscuring it. Abir said, "Who is this girl, and who did this to her? Why is she here like this?"

Saying this, Abir knelt beside the girl and gently brushed the hair away from her face. As soon as he saw her face, Abir froze in place. He couldn't believe his eyes. Adil then exclaimed, "Ayna! This is Ayna. How could she be here like this?"

Abir whispered, "Ayna..." and pulled the girl into his arms, muttering to himself, "What happened to you, Ayna? I can't believe you're here in front of me."

Harsh said, "We'll get answers to all these questions from her. I think we should take her to the hospital. She's badly injured."

Abir nodded, "You're right... she needs treatment." Saying this, Abir lifted Ayna in his arms and headed toward the car. Everyone gathered near the car. Abir sat in the back, holding Ayna, and asked Adil to drive. Harsh sat in the passenger seat. Priya, still shaken, sat beside Abir in the back.

Adil started the car and they quickly headed back to the city. About an hour later, they entered the city and soon after, reached the hospital. Upon arriving, Abir carried Ayna inside the hospital.

Everyone in the hospital stared in shock as they saw Abir Rajvansh carrying a girl in his arms. By then, a line of doctors had already formed. A nurse hurried over with a stretcher. Abir laid Ayna on the stretcher and gestured for the doctors to take her. The doctors quickly took her away and began her treatment.

By now, Adil, Priya, and Harsh had also arrived. Abir said, "I think Priya, you should go home. You need rest." Harsh added, "Abir's right, Priya. You really do need to rest. You were really scared."

Adil said, "Harsh, you take Priya home. Abir and I will stay here."

Agreeing, Harsh nodded and took Priya home.

Suddenly, Abir punched the wall hard. His anger, which he had been holding back, finally erupted. Seeing this, Adil stopped him and said, "What are you doing, man? Ayna will be fine. You know she could never stand to see you in pain. If she sees you like this, it'll hurt her even more."

Abir said, "I just want to know who did this to Ayna. I searched for her everywhere and found nothing. And now, suddenly, she's here... like this... I can't bear to see her like this."

Adil said, "Abir, calm down. I understand how you feel, I understand your pain. But she's here now, isn't she? All the answers will come. Just sit down for now." Saying this, Adil guided Abir to a nearby bench and tried to calm him down.

"A terrifying past is returning, one that may change everyone's lives, or take someone's life away."

"A secret will be revealed that will ignite a new war. Some voices will rise, while some will be silenced forever."
