Now Abir was completely drunk; he had consumed a lot of alcohol. After a while, he stood up from his place and staggered toward his room.
Upon reaching the room, he glanced around. He couldn't find Aayna anywhere. Not finding Aayna in the room, Abir went to the balcony where Aayna was sitting against the wall. Abir saw Aayna, grabbed her hand, and pulled her up abruptly.
Seeing Abir drunk, Aayna was scared. She could clearly see the anger on his face. Abir's eyes were extremely red at that moment.
Gathering her courage, Aayna softly said, "What are you doing? Let me go. Please, let me go."
Ignoring Aayna's words, Abir dragged her back into the room and shoved her onto the bed. Aayna fell onto the bed in shock, staring at Abir in surprise. Abir stood by the bed and began to unbuckle his belt.
Seeing Abir unbuckle his belt, Aayna's eyes widened in fear, and she began to tremble with fear. She looked at Abir with scared eyes and said, "Please, please, let me go. I haven't done anything..."
By then, Abir had already unbuckled his belt and began to hit Aayna with it. Aayna's cries of pain echoed throughout the room. After a while, Abir threw the belt away but lay down beside Aayna. He was so drunk that he fell asleep immediately.
Meanwhile, Aayna was writhing in pain. There was no trace of sleep in her eyes; she was just crying. She didn't know when she finally fell asleep.
The next morning...
Abir opened his eyes. As soon as he opened them, he held his head and sat up. His head was pounding from drinking too much the night before. After sitting like this for a while, he noticed Aayna curled up in a corner of the bed with her eyes closed. Aayna's condition was very poor at that moment.
Her entire face was red; her tears had dried on her cheeks. Her eyes were swollen, and there were marks all over her body from the belt. A little blood was coming from the corner of her lips.
Seeing Aayna in such a state, Abir's eyes widened in shock. He held his head with both hands and began to recall what happened last night. After a while, Abir remembered everything that had transpired the night before. He took another look at Aayna and got up from the bed to go to the bathroom.
A little while later, Abir came out of the bathroom. At that moment, he was only wearing a towel.
Abir walked over to the bed and stared intently at Aayna. She looked just like a small child while sleeping. Looking at Aayna's innocent face, Abir said to himself, "How innocent this face is; it doesn't seem like you could do something that turned your life into hell." After looking at Aayna's face for a moment, Abir sat next to her and began to wake her up. As Abir woke her, Aayna slowly opened her eyes and found Abir in front of her.
Upon seeing Abir in front of her, Aayna instinctively put her hands on her face in fear and tightly shut her eyes, beginning to scream, "Please, please, please, let me go! Don't kill me, please, please!"
Seeing Aayna scream like this, Abir understood that she was still in shock from the beating the night before and thought he would hit her again.
Suddenly, Abir grabbed Aayna and swiftly removed her hands from her face, placing his lips on hers and began to kiss her.
Aayna went completely silent at this act of Abir and gradually became calm. However, she did not kiss him back.
After a while, Abir pulled away from Aayna and picked her up in his arms, carrying her into the bathroom. He sat Aayna in the bathtub and started to fill it with warm water to provide her some comfort. Abir cleaned Aayna's body, bathed her, and then took her out of the bathroom, dressing her in a pair of loose pants and a loose t-shirt before getting dressed himself. Then he returned to the bed with Aayna.
Throughout all this, neither Aayna said anything nor did Abir.
Abir sat Aayna on the bed and sat next to her. Aayna had her face lowered at that moment. Abir held Aayna's chin, lifted her face, and looked into her eyes, saying, "You chose this pain for yourself. I have no love or sympathy for you. If there's anything, it's just hatred. I hate you deeply because you took away from me the person I loved the most in my life, the one who was closest to me. If there was anyone in this world who was mine, it was only that one person.
And you took him away from me." As he spoke, the anger was clearly visible on Abir's face.
Aayna silently listened to Abir's words. She said nothing.
Suddenly, Abir got up from the bed and walked out of the room.
