Abeer came out of his old memories and found himself in the hospital. He looked around and took a deep breath. At that moment, sweat was trickling down his forehead.
Seeing this, Aadil said, "Chill bro, you got lost in your past again!"
Wiping the sweat off his forehead, Abeer said, "The past never leaves anyone; it stays alive even after a person dies."
Aadil replied, "Bro, it's almost morning, I'll get some coffee," and he walked away.
Abeer got up from his seat, opened the door to Ayana's ward, and walked in slowly. He sat beside her and looked at her intently. Abeer took Ayana's hand in his and kissed it, pressing it gently against his cheek. Her eyes were still closed; she hadn't regained consciousness.
Looking at Ayana, Abeer said, "Whoever did this to you, I will give them a fate worse than death, Ayana. I will make them suffer so much that even their future generations will tremble. Just get well, regain consciousness, and I promise, I will never let you be away from me again. I promise!"
Abeer was sitting beside Ayana when Aadil returned with the coffee. Seeing Abeer sitting with Ayana like that, a soft, affectionate smile appeared on Aadil's face. Aadil said, "Abeer, have your coffee, and let Ayana rest." Abeer gently let go of her hand, kissed her forehead, and stepped out of the ward. He and Aadil sat on the bench outside, sipping their coffee.
Morning had arrived, and the doctor came to check on Ayana. After completing the check-up, the doctor said to Abeer, "She's better now. She could regain consciousness at any moment." Saying this, the doctor left for another ward.
Aadil said to Abeer, "Abeer, I think we should increase the hospital's security because whoever did this to Ayana might try to attack her again."
Abeer and Aadil decided to heighten the hospital's security. They stationed guards outside Ayana's ward and installed CCTV cameras. Abeer began spending all his time with her, taking care of her. Slowly, Ayana's eyes opened. She saw Abeer sitting beside her and smiled. Tears of joy filled Abeer's eyes. Ayana held his hand and said, "Abeer, please take me away. I don't want to go back there. Please, Abeer! I can't be away from you. I want to stay with you; I can't live without you." At that moment, Ayana was very frightened. Abeer was trying to calm her down.
Abeer hugged Ayana and said, "I will never leave you." I can't take any risks with you now! From now on, you will stay with me, always!"
Aadil said, "Now we need to find out who attacked Ayana."
Abeer said, "I will find him and make him pay. I will give him a punishment worse than death."
Ayana added, "I remember his face, Abeer. I know him. He wanted me, but when I didn't listen to him, he started torturing me," Ayana said, tears welling up in her eyes. "I don't want to go back there, Abeer. They tortured me so much."
Abeer said, "Your safety is my responsibility. I will find him and make him pay. No power in the world can take you away from me now."
Aadil said, "Abeer, Ayana needs to rest right now. She shouldn't strain her mind or take any stress. She needs to relax. Ayana, you should rest, and I'll check with the doctor when you can be discharged."
Ayana slowly closed her eyes and rested her head on Abeer's shoulder. Abeer hugged her and said, "I am here with you, and I will keep you safe. Just relax."
The doctor came in and asked, "Are you feeling okay?"
Ayana replied, "Yes, doctor, I am fine."
Aadil asked the doctor, "When can Ayana be discharged?"
The doctor said, "We will discharge her in a day or two, but for now, she needs rest and no stress."
Abeer said, "I'll stay with Ayana, and I won't let her get stressed."
Aadil said, "Alright, I'll get something for both of you to eat." With that, Aadil left the ward.
The doctor also left, advising Ayana to rest.
Now, only Ayana and Abeer were in the ward. Abeer had Ayana in his arms, and Ayana clung to him tightly.
A short while later, Aadil returned with food and said, "Come on, both of you should eat now." Abeer took the food from Aadil and started feeding Ayana. She ate a little and then said, "I'm done, I don't want any more." She made a childish face as she said this. Seeing her like that brought a soft smile to both Abeer and Aadil's faces. Abeer gave her some water and said, "You rest now, I'm here with you."
Hearing this, Ayana nodded and closed her eyes, falling asleep. Abeer hugged her and said, "As long as I'm with you, you don't need to worry about anything. I'm here with you, so rest easy."
After this, Abeer asked Aadil to find out who was behind Ayana's suffering and continued to gently stroke Ayana's hair.
