After dinner, the family gathered in the study. The atmosphere was heavy with anticipation as Leon's parents, siblings, and their most trusted servants discussed what was becoming increasingly obvious—Leon and Atlas were growing close.
Bjorn leaned forward, his expression taut with worry. "Atlas is known for being… problematic. He's not exactly the ideal choice for someone like Leon, who's inexperienced and—"
"Innocent?" their mother interjected with a knowing smile. "Bjorn, it's not as though we can shield him from everything. He has to grow up sometime, and Atlas hasn't shown any signs of ill intent."
Their father, arms folded across his chest, added, "Still, we should monitor the situation. Atlas has a complicated background, and Leon might not understand what he's getting into."
The Guide master, who had been quietly observing, finally spoke up. "Leon is more resilient than you give him credit for. Even if he doesn't realize what's happening right now, he'll come to understand soon enough." His tone turned playful. "Besides, it's quite amusing how proud he is of his 'awareness' when he's utterly oblivious to Atlas's obvious infatuation."
The family exchanged looks, some chuckling softly. They agreed that they would watch over Leon carefully without being too obvious, allowing him to experience the budding relationship naturally. If it came to it, they'd intervene, but for now, they would let things unfold.
