Leon could feel it in the air—something was different. Everywhere he went, there seemed to be someone close by, whether it was his mother inviting him for frequent walks, his sisters offering to help with tasks he could easily manage, or his brothers "coincidentally" showing up in the same places he chose to visit.
During one of these walks with his mother, Leon finally asked, "Are you all… watching me?" He chuckled awkwardly, trying to dismiss the suspicion even as it lingered.
His mother smiled warmly. "We're just worried about you, dear. You know how precious you are to us."
The answer did little to dispel his doubts, but Leon didn't push further. Instead, he brought up his concerns during his next training session with his Guide master, who merely gave him a cryptic smile. "Perhaps you're seeing something that isn't there," the master teased. "Or perhaps you need to look harder."
Leon left the session scratching his head, unsure whether his Guide master was messing with him or if there was something he genuinely needed to uncover.
