His dark coat swept the ground commanding attention. His presence intimidating as hell. Everyone who passed by him couldn't help but stare.They wanted to say hello but his chilling demeanor made them retreat.

   His deep blue eyes like the ocean scanned the crowd, if he would catch sight of the blonde troublemaker.

   The troublemaker who had come into his life not so long ago. The only person who gives him so much headaches but he has no other choice but to keep her close because he was responsible for her. He had to stay next to her and protect her.

   He is her guardian and she is his ward.

He stopped at a cafe shop and sat down on a chair under an umbrella they had placed outside if the shop was too full for customers.

He knew the blonde liked the cafe especially the muffin that they served and he knew she was going to come here since it was morning and she had ran away from home again.

The customers who had come to the cafe couldn't help staring at the cold handsome man who had caught everyone's attention just by sitting in front of the shop.

The beautiful waitress came out of the shop and came to his table with an alluring smile.

"Do you need anything, sir" Her voice soft trying to get a glance from the man but he didn't look her way at all.

"No" His cold deep voice captivating the waitress. The waitress was disappointed and just went back to continue with her business.

He caught sight of the blonde coming to the shop. She was wearing black jeans and a black hoodie and her blonde hair falling in front.

She had sighted him but there was no where she could run to because he was going to catch her anyway but she pretended she didn't and wanted to just walk inside the cafe shop like she was invisible but his grip on her wrist had stopped her in her tracks.

"Xander..." His name rolled out of her lips as he lifted her up and carried her on his shoulders like she was a bag of beans.

Everyone wondered how the girl had caught the mysterious man attention and thought she was very lucky to be carried by such a good looking man.

He was angry and she knew resisting him would anger him further. So, she decided to stay quiet.
