, Anna's unease lingered long after Xander departed the quarters because of his abrupt refusal to letting her go to the city still weighing heavily on her mind. She couldn't help but feel awkward as she quietly ate her food..
When it was time for dessert, the silence was finally broken by Leon.
"Were you planning to go out with your friends in the city?" Leon asked Anna.
"What's the point?" Anna commented sadly as her eyes were still fixed on the dessert she hasn't touched.
"Want to join us for training in the forest? " Leon offered her as the other two people on the dining table raised their eyes to look at him, weirdly.
"It would be so lonely staying in the quarters all alone" added Leon looking at Alexa and Andrew, his eyes telling them to let jer join them.
"I can go?" Anna asked excitedly finally looking up at Leon.
"Sure" Leon muttered which brought a smile on Anna's face.
"I've never seen supernaturals train before." She commented and Leon couldn't help but smile as the girl wasn't sad anymore.
Leon's expression softened as he noticed Anna's isolation. He knew it would be so lonely for the girl to stay in the quarters by herself and she didn't have a supernatural friend to keep her company while they went to the forest to train.
And to make things worse Xander had abruptly disagreed for her to go to the city.
"It would be fun to have a human around while we train" Andrew spoke as he already liked the idea of the human going along with them.
When Anna tasted the cake, she couldn't help but moan loudly as the cake melted on her tongue to create a very sweet sensation.
"This is good. You should definitely bake a cake on my friend's birthday." complimented Anna as she gave Leon a thumbs up.
"I told you, Leon is good." Alexa said, who was the one who always praised Leon's culinary skills.
"Your friend's birthday?" Andrew couldn't help but ask.
"My human friend, Georgia. Her birthday is next week and I haven't decided what to give her yet." She spoke about her friend happily.
"I think this could be the best birthday gift," Anna added and smiled.
"Will there be a birthday party?" Andrew asked
"Yes" answered Anna.
"Then I will definitely not miss it" Andrew muttered excitedly.
"You want to go to a human's birthday party?" Alexa asked and scoffed.
"It would be fun, there would be cake, dancing, games and drinks." Anna chimed.
"Drinks?" Alexa asked.
"It is always fun to go to a birthday party." Leon finally said something about the party.
"Why don't you guys come?" Anna asked looking at the eyes of the supernaturals that sat on the table.
"I would love to come." Andrew said excitedly.
"I hate the city." Alexa said and rolled her eyes.
"I would love to come also" Leon said and Anna looked at him and smiled and he smiled back.
Alexa was surprised that Leon had agreed to go to the party. She thought Andrew was behaving like a little child and Leon had said yes to the party.
When they finished their breakfast, Leon had offered to wash the dishes while Anna offered to help him with it.
They all went back to their rooms after the dishes were done to prepare for their training in the forest.

Xander walked along the halls on the top walls and stopped in front of the headmaster's home.
He rang the bell and in less than a minute the headmaster opened the door for him leading him inside the apartment.
Louis had just finished packing and was set to leave when the door bell rang.
Xander took long strides and sat down on the couch as he looked around the apartment and saw most things were not intact like how he had seen it yesterday, when he had came by.
"You should have carried the whole place with you," commented Xander which made Louis chuckle and sat on the couch opposite Xander.
"I had packed the important things and locked them in a safe room." Louis said as he stood up and went to the kitchen to prepare a cup of tea for Xander.
"Just give me water." Xander who had noticed the man wanted to prepare tea for him said.
"I thought you always liked the tea I made." Louis said as he went to the fridge to pour a glass of water for Xander.
"If I have to taste your tea you make, then I'll end up not letting you leave anymore" Xander uttered which made Leon smile.
Leon came back with a glass of water and gave it to Xander. Xander collected it and didn't bother to drink it immediately.
"Is the child with you?" Louis asked because the girl had not returned home last night and he noticed her things were also gone.
"Yes" answered Xander and took a large gulp from the glass.
Xander had come by the top walls yesterday and had not seen Louis at home.
He apparated inside the apartment and had taken the girl's luggages she had packed before she came by his quarters.
"Where were you last night?" Xander asked him.
"I went to see the judge. It seems a lot of your time will be taken with me leaving" said Louis looking at Xander blue eyes as Xander had already finished the glass of water he had offered him.
"Maybe." He commented dryly.
"And me leaving you with the girl," Louis said and sighed.
"Don't you worry I'll take care of her as I promised." Xander tried to reassure the man.
"I know you would but..." Louis sighed and paused.
"...but I don't worry about her but you" Louis words made Xander narrow his eyes at him.
"What do you mean?" Xander asked.
"Anna is a strong girl and she had grown up faster than I ever imagined and even with all her troubles I never regretted bringing her to my home that night." Louis said as Xander listened attentively.
"I would handle her right" Xander said which made Louis smile.
"Anna can be very troublesome but she isn't hard to please." Louis muttered.
"The only way I could take care of her for this many years is by being patient with her and understanding her." Louis explained to Xander.
"And I hope you can also be patient with her." Louis said
"I'll try my best." Xander said in a less reassuring manner as he dropped the glass on the table.
"What's this journey all about?" Xander asked changing the topic.
"I'm going to find answers," Louis answered, his words not giving Xander any idea of his plans.
"Where?" Xander asked.
"I would go to your father first" Louis uttered making Xander expressionless face turn into a frown.
"Why?" Xander asked in a demanding tone.
"I told you I need answers and I have no other choice but to go to your father's place" Louis explained in a low voice.
"Going there will put me at risk." Xander said trying to suppress his anger that was beginning to show.
"Maybe is time for you to go back." Louis muttered and his words were enough for Xander to lose his cool.
"I will never return." Xander's voice thundered.
"You'll need to go back one day." Louis said even do he knew his words would anger Xander more.
"Aren't I taking your time? I'll take my leave now" Xander said and without another word he got up and walked to the door as Louis walked behind him.
"Take care of Anna." Louis muttered under his breath.
"Come back unscathed. I wouldn't want to take care of the human more than the agreed time." Xander said not looking at the man's brown eyes.
"Safe journey." Xander mumbled before stepping out of the door leaving the top walls and leaving the white walls building.
Louis recognized the storm which brewed in Xander's eyes as he spoke about his father. Louis knew too well that he was angry because his father had been brought up into their harmless conversation.
Xander hated hearing anything about returning to where he is supposed to be.
Louis only hoped for Xander to take care of the human girl who he had grown to love.
He wasn't worried about Xander not taking care of her because it was an agreement that he and Xander had made to take care of the girl but he was worried about the human girl.
Anna was a troublesome one and always found her way to trouble and he hoped Xander should pay enough attention to her and not allow her to get hurt in anyway.
