"Young Miss, may I ask what you need?" The chef said while bowing.
Lin Susu smiled, "I wish to use the ingredients here to cook," she said, as she knew it was one of the few professions that didn't require Qi to learn.
Hearing the response, the chef hesitated. "This... Young Miss, it may be a little inconvenient."
"Hmm, what's wrong?" Lin Susu asked, a bit of a dangerous gleam flashed through her eye, though her smile didn't falter.
The chef's expression became slightly stiff. "No, it's nothing. Do you know how to cook?"
"I do," the girl responded. She had to make her own food in her previous life, so it shouldn't be too hard to make food here with backwards technology.
The chef's brow wrinkled up a little but he didn't say anything more.
He motioned with his hand as he led her into a room filled with all sorts of ingredients, some she had seen in her previous life.
"These are some ingredients that I had gathered recently, feel free to use as you want. There's some other ingredients that are kept in the pantry in the back and the storage rooms," The chef said, as he turned around and left.
Lin Susu looked at the chef leaving and a glimmer flashed through her eyes, and she moved over and grabbed a couple things out of the fridge.
"Let's start off easy for the first try..." The girl said, as she took a pan, a chopping knife and began chopping and frying her meal over a wooden stove.
As time passed by, Lin Susu finished making two dishes for herself. It wasn't the most refined thing, but for someone without any cooking skill it was good.
[XP: 2]
The system rang in her head, as Lin Susu was quite happy. Although this is only a couple experience points, it brought her one step closer to the first stage of Qi Refinement.
Eating quickly out of the pan, she cleaned up her station which netted her another experience points and headed back into her room.
She laid down on her bed and opened up the system panel.
[Host: Lin Susu]
[Realm: None (XP: 7/10)]
[Bloodline: Mortal]
[Vitality: 15/99]
[Exercises: (Can't practice)]
[Techniques: None]
[Professions: None]
Looking at the seven XP she has gathered over the past couple of hours, the gal was quite pleased. She had not done all that much!
"Three more, three more and I'll have enough." She said, and when she did so, she got up from her bed and started to do some loose workouts.
With her two hands and feet on the ground, she began to do push ups. If this were in her previous life, she would have a couple of one handed push-ups, or at best maybe six normal ones. However, with her current physique, her body could handle doing 10 without a sweat. As for sit ups, well her core was so strong you would think she was a core specialist!
Over time, she pushed herself to keep her body active.
Time slowly ticked by and after doing three hours of training in her room, the system sounded in her head.
[XP: 3]
Lin Susu grinned like an old lady at the notification, then turned around and grabbed some clean and loose fitting clothes. She then opened up the system panel and clicked on her realm.
[Would you like to spend 10 XP to level up to the First Stage of Qi Refinement?]
[Y/N]
Without a moment of hesitation, Lin Susu clicked Yes.
Instantly, the energy spread through her body. Though nothing that would hurt her in her body, she was actually changing. A small stream of Qi was moving around inside her, circulating within her body.
It felt amazing as well, as she felt strong and powerful as if nothing in the world could harm her.
"So that's the feeling of having a Qi cycle through my body." Lin Susu mused to herself.
After a moment, her eyes turned to the system window.

[Bloodline: Mortal]
[Vitality: 15/101]

[Professions: None]
Looking at the 20 experience points needed for the next realm, Lin Susu clicked her tongue.
"It seems I'll need to farm XP harder." She said, as she got up from the floor and stretched a little. She felt the Qi coursing through her body felt amazing! She felt invincible and unstoppable!
Lin Susu chuckled lightly and jumped backwards onto her bed, landing flawlessly. The moon was already shining outside, illuminating her room with its silver light. Seeing this, Lin Susu yawned and closed her eyes to sleep. Tomorrow is another day, and she needs to farm XP!
And thus ended her first day of gaining experience points.

Lin Susu woke up bright and early, and although her cultivation hasn't improved yet, she feels as if she can take on the entire world with ease. Of course this isn't true, but just having Qi cycling throughout her body makes it feel that way!
Getting up from bed, Lin Susu brushed her teeth and hair before grabbing a nice looking outfit. Although it was loose fitting and not like what a female should be wearing, it was comfortable to move around in, plus it allowed her to train easier. In this world, women can dress however they want as long as they have cultivation, otherwise they have to listen to men. Family background also helps.
However, walking down the halls, she noticed something strange. There weren't many servants around and the place was oddly quiet. She didn't think too much of it, as she walked outside towards the Grand Hall.
Lin Susu's father, Lin Liang, is the head of the family, and today Lin Susu plans on telling him the good news of her reaching the First Stage of Qi Refinement. She isn't doing this to simply to show off or anything; she wants some martial arts books or perhaps a book on a certain profession.
