Chereads / I, The Younger Sister of Three Emperors! / Chapter 5 - A Little Teasing

Chapter 5 - A Little Teasing

"Third Brother?" Lin Susu called out to him worriedly.

Lin Fan shook his head, before turning to leave. Lin Liang shook his head, as he said, "My son, don't worry about that girl. Your father promises that we'll find you a better wife!"

Hearing his father's words, he paused a little and said, "No need. Once I show my talent in the future, there will be no woman that won't desire me."

Lin Susu laughed dryly hearing this and said, "Does that include me?"

Lin Fan stumbled upon hearing her words.

"You beast! You even think about your cute little sister?" Lin Susu said.

"Of course no..."

Lin Fan couldn't finish speaking because Lin Susu had already cut him off.

"So am I uglier than Yu Yan?" Lin Susu inquired while using a cutesy and girly voice while folding her arms under her chest, and giving off an expression like an angry duckling.

Lin Fan gulped and felt his forehead being drenched in sweat, and he had an uncontrollable urge to run. However, even though the present scene before him made it seem as if a pit of quicksand was lying before his feet, waiting for his legs to sink into. At the same time, a hellish fire raged in Lin Fan's eyes, while a devilishly sweet smile began creeping across his sister's lips.

"Ha, what happened to my nice and obedient sister? It seems that your wings have grown stiff ever since you reached the first stage of Qi Refinement." He chuckled and said.

Lin Liang's eye's gleamed, 'First stage of Qi Refinement? Doesn't she have a mortal bloodline?' He thought.

"Hmm, so what? Although I believe you can come back and crush Yu Yan, you can't beat me as you lost all of your cultivation!" Lin Susu smiled brilliantly and she stepped forward and smacked her third brother's head gently.

Lin Fan pouted, "Come on, what sister beats up their poor and weak brother?"

Lin Susu narrowed her eyes a little and said, "You got a point. For now on, you can eat your sister's soft rice!"

Lin Fan was startled when she said that, and a smile appeared on his mouth.

"Sister, although you have stepped into Qi Refinement, you still don't have any techniques or combat skills. I'm also physically stronger than you by a lot due to my bloodline. Are you sure you wish to use violence?" He inquired.

Lin Susu rubbed her chin and pondered.

"Forget it, I'm busy farming experience today, so we'll pick up on this conversation again when I reach the Six Stage of Qi Refinement" Lin Susu smirked and stuck out her tongue.

Hearing her words, Lin Fan couldn't help but almost cursed when he heard her words. His sister, Lin Susu has finally begun to speak like the devil she truly is!

"You! Whatever, I'm leaving." Lin Fan frowned deeply and his jawline became very rigid as if it would cause injury to one's face when caressed, he didn't know if he should cry or laugh.

While those two argued in front of their Father, Lin Liang just stood there watching their sibling moment. Lin Liang sighed sadly as he thought, 'A shame our family only has three members.'

As Lin Fan left, Lin Susu turned her eye's to Lin Liang.

"Father, since I've reached the first level of Qi Refinement, you should reward me with a few martial art manuals," The girl asked with an eagerness in her tone.

Lin Liang shook his head and the next moment his entire face seemed to collapse like a crumbling mountain cliff, a serious look filling his eyes.

"Susu, you should think carefully before speaking. There isn't a thing you should think lightly about when it comes to the martial arts manuals. You'll need a solid foundation in order for your cultivation to progress, and some can be dangerous, so make sure you take caution with your decisions," he explained.

"For you, you don't even have a bloodline. Therefore, you have no advantages and only weaknesses. I recommend looking at some speed techniques and healing techniques. Maybe try to find a defensive skill for defense while you escape. Susu, the strongest are not the most powerful or have the most destructive weapons, but instead they are the ones who never fought, the ones who fled. Survive and grow your own forces to protect you. With your brothers, I believe they can bring you to safety and raise your power higher as you can rely on them to be your base support," the old man said.

He paused briefly and Lin Susu blinked several times at her father's words, seeming almost, admiring.

"Forget it, enough chattering, here is your mother's main technique." Lin Liang said. He then moved his hand to touch the bracelet he wears before a scroll was taken out, it was a silky pure green with a pure white feather embroiled upon its front. The words, Nature's Grace were written on it. It was the highest technique that her mother left to them. It has healing and attacking techniques.

"Don't show this to anyone." He ordered, handing it over.

"Yes, father. This won't leave my possession," she assured, taking it from him with both hands.

Lin Susu left the hall and quickly walked her way out of the family hall, stepping through the beautiful and clean halls filled with long tables and chairs that are sculpted with dragon heads. Even though the family home looked luxurious and had more than a thousand workers running its services, she never liked it. For the Lin Family was not the rich people and nobles they portray. They're one step from the edge, the so-called useless pawn to the major powers.

With the manual tucked tightly in her robes, she closed the gate behind her. Her gaze swept towards the guards and nodded before heading to the clan's Sutra Pavilion.

The walk wasn't too long. Her figure wasn't rushed but it was precise, filled with efficiency. Upon the sight of the grand red building, a pleasant smile touched the corner of her mouth and her eyes swept across an old man sitting in front of the pavilion doors.
