Chapter 1 - Personal History

The Scions of the Source were gathered, Camellia stared them down, preparing to fight them if they dared touch Zenos of the 8th Shard. However the words out of Y'shtola's mouth were not the ones that any of the shards expected "Valljan and X'vett - How did the two of you leave your tribes, or were you born in cities?"

Valljan laughed, his voice giving the laugh a rumbling sound "I was born in the era leading up to, and right before the Void Ark descended upon this land. T'was born of the wood, and lived the Green Word. I had come across my Husband in the wood and treated his wounds, fully intent on sending him on his way once healed. My Chief noticed his Allag eyes, which is when I was taught of Allag. Their language, their ways and how to accurately protect him." Valljan coughed out a sad laugh "If only that old fool could see me now-" he looked to the ceiling, as if staring down the heavens "-M'hach is long gone, along with its people. The only survivors of that bygone era are myself and my husband. You could say that I know how to make Refined Adamantite, however the tools to make such a product are lost to time."

The room stilled, processing the information "I know not of Vetts story, yet I fear it is similar to mine." X'vett shook his head 'no' "Tis quite different, as I was born of a Miqo'te and Viera tribe. While I lived the Green Word and protected our ever moving tribe - I was given a chance to server Lord Hien and his family. I was one of few given this opportunity to leave instead of being exiled. I left and never looked back, that's how I came across Z and eventually Raha. I've gotten a few letters from my Father, telling me of all the places the tribe has traveled, the foods they have eaten and their current location. I doubt I would be welcomed back by the current chief, as my new title - Prince Consort - leaves me in an interestingĀ position."

A'lisae nodded, taking in the information "It may come as a surprise, but I was exiled from the A tribe of the 4th. The blessing of light was seen as a bad thing to come to any 10 year old of the tribe. I remember being beaten to death - well nearly- I woke up weeks later in my new home. A girl of the neighbouring Tia tribe had found me, R'henya - my adopted sister. The tribe accepted me and named me 'A'lisae Tia, the Remade.' As if proving to my birth family that I was born to be more than what they expected."

She paused, taking in the sad looks on the faces of the scions and the other Warriors Of Light "What? R'henya and I are close still, The Tia's send me letters near every major holiday or event in the tribe - they love my Husbands." The group visibly relaxed. "What of you Camellia?" Cam looked to A'lisae and sighed "While I wish I had such an interesting tale like you all, I am not of a Lalafellin tribe. I was born in Old Sharlyan to an Elezen Mother and Father. My Mothers mother was a Lalafell, It seems to only affect the females of the family, Its genetic. My name before I came to Eorzea was Edelweiss Laurentian. A very Elezen name for a Lalafellin, isn't it? Mother treated me like any other child in the family, where as my father had me work extra had for any position I was aiming for."

Camellia took a sip of her water, allowing the group to process some of the information "I am glad that I lost my memory, I became a new person and moved forward with my life. Although I am glad that I regained such precious memories, along with a few new ones, courtesy of Azem. Once I returned to Old Sharlyan, my Father had asked me what I mastered while away and demanded I beat my siblings and him in a trial by fire. I won of course, but all of them were very shocked that their child or sister was The Warrior Of Light. My father did not think I'd amount to much other than a Scholar."
