After the events of the Endsinger and the Final days, Camellia learned that she was immortal - as per what happens to anyone who merges to their ancient. Once learning of this, she decided to fade into the crowd and let the tale of the Warrior of Light be just a tale. She had completely faded from memory - till Edelweiss was Reincarnated, along with the Laurentians.
Edelweiss stared at the portrait that sat in the Leveilleur library at the studium. The library held every book that the Leveilleur's donated from their personal collection, every drawing that the late Archon Alphinaud Leveilleur had done, every letter from Scion Alisaie Leveilleur to her late mother - Ameliance. The Library had a section that Alphinaud had named the 'Seventh Dawn', featuring letters, articles of clothing, portraits and even personal items - such as a tea cup, a bottle of armour oil, an old deck of tarot card, and many more. The portrait she started upon was that of Camellia Jeanne Thetris, Warrior Of Light. A plaque below read out a few of her titles, while a book below read of her personal notes, her hard earned victories and devastating losses. It had pages upon pages dedicated to titles of hers, friends of hers and those who passed long before their prime. Edelweiss ran her hand over the plaque that read 'Camellia Jeanne Thetris, Warrior of Light. Other common titles: Throneshaker, Sultana Sworn, Endwalker, Elpiphoros.' the final title had always rang clear in her mind with memories of something she could not place.
She flipped through the book below, noticing more entries had been added. '9th Astral Era, Ilsabard. While Radz-At-Han is still Thavnair and Vrtra has done well all this time, the area has changed names. I should be calling it 'The Indian Ocean' but it does not spark as much joy. I will be keeping its original name. Hien's descendant has kept Doma and Othard the same as usual, Kugane and Shirogane have changed - however much is still the same. I fear that one day everything will change. My apartment is still in its perfect state - despite my retainers having aged and their children children now keeping watch over me. T'haaru and Rhavaana look identical to their grandparents - I miss them dearly. I have visited the old cave of Matoya and found her poro rogo's keeping watch, they cried at the sight of me. I had to tell them to keep working, I'm afraid. My reserves of aether are dwindling, I fear that I will die soon. I await for the day I can reunite with My Exarch and My Dragoon.'
Edelweiss cried silently, an Undying Legend was finally dying and she felt she was at fault. In blind fit of fear she wrote back 'My apologies Ms.Thetris, but I fear that I am the one who caused this. I am Edelweiss Laurentian - the Reincarnated you. I am 25 years old now. I do not wish to keep you from the ones you love but I cannot let you die without knowing. I can see your memories, I have visions of you travelling, I see what you see. Camellia tell me - do you want to finally move on? Do you not wish to find hope? Find a new dawn?'
Weeks later it was announced that Camellia Thetris 'The Undying' had passed. She found happiness at the end of her life, sharing her stories with others, stating 'I can finally see my Dragoon and my Exarch Again' before passing.
