The world had become strange, 500 years had passed. Garlemald was a steady nation, Radz-At-Han still had Vrtra and Azdaja, and Ishgards frost finally relented a bit. Edelweiss sat in her house in Labyrinthos, unsure of the day or year - forever alone in this unchanging world. She had been put into Labyrinthos the day after Urianger passed - he died around 300 years of age, far surpassing his husband. Camellia had outlived everyone and was forced into hiding to be tested on.
For the first time in what felt like days, there was no knock on her door. No sounds in the building. Camellia got up from her bed, getting dressed before heading down the hall to the kitchen. It was empty, no one had come by. She sighed and left her hair down, there was no one to impress today. Fear consumed her as no one had come around by lunch hour - Had they finally died? Camellia got up from the living room couch and wandered over to the front door, it was unlocked for the first time ever. Stepping on her shoes, she left the house - for the first time in years. The house was overgrown with ivy and Elpis blooms, which turned white upon her leaving.
Camellia walked further from the house, seeing Labyrinthos for the first time in several years - it was very modern, things had changed drastically. Walking along the path with the Scions old pass around her neck, she traveled to The Archeion, finding no researchers there - she headed to the elevator which took her back to Sharlayan proper. Once again, no one was there. She entered the elevator and went up, the doors opened upon a group of students on a tour - the tour guide's eyes were wide, they had just finished explaining that "Labyrinthos was once used for housing many creatures and people during the Final Days, however it has not been in use for a good 20 years."
Camellia stepped out of the elevator and tilted her head in confusion, the tour guide pulled out a very new looking tomestone and called someone - who came and stared at Camellia. "Who are you?" they asked "Camellia Thetris, Formerly Edelweiss Laurentian. Test subject 001." The elezen's eyes went wide and they covered their mouth - hiding a gasp "Come" he said and she followed.
