I stepped out of the forest made my way to the City, and got in the line for new arrivals.
This city had walls made out of white stone, and along the wall, I saw a variety of waterfalls that were spaced out every five feet or so.
The main wall seemed quite sturdy and thick which would make it very hard for any enemy to attack this city. The thought of that made me feel safer since I had chosen a very durable city to live in with this new life that I had been given.
The arrivals were divided into groups based on standing in this city.
So I got into the longest line since it was for new arrivals. The line that I was in contained a variety of different species. I saw mostly humans, but occasionally, I would see an elf or even a demi-human.
The centerline was mostly used for people who were bringing merchandise, or even large groups of people into the city.
While the other lines were quite large the left line was quite small because it was reserved for very important individuals that demanded quick service.
It took about two hours for the line to get small enough for me to make my way to the room that was on the right side of the gate.
When I made it to the front of the line the door was opened for me, and I made my way to the building and saw clearly that there was a darker-skinned man that was wearing leather armor.
I stepped up to the table and he started to speak to me.
"Welcome to the human imperial City of White Falls. Please place your hand on the magic crystal.
If this Crystal lights up blue or white then you will be allowed access to the city. If it turns red then you are going to be restrained and thrown in prison". The guard said in an almost robotic-like voice as if he had said it a thousand times.
After he spoke he grabbed a crystal ball and placed it on the table. To the right of that he had placed a blank card that was made out of iron.
So I did as he said and I placed my hand on the crystal ball. As I did this, I could feel my energy somewhat being drained from inside of myself and into the crystal ball.
The inside of it turned white.
As soon as I did this, the card began to show riding on it, displaying my name, race, sex, and class.
"As someone that has been labeled White, you will have free access to most of the facilities in the city. This is because you have been labeled as a neutral threat.
A neutral threat is someone who cannot be told by the crystal ball what they will become to the city.
It is quite a rarity to find anyone that is white". He said, but this time he was much more excited.
"Please do not forget to register your beast with the tamers of this city".
"Thank you very much I will go and visit the tamers soon".
I took my identification card and started to walk out of the gate, and into the city where I was going to be making my new life.
As I entered the city with the gate behind me I felt a rush of anxiety as well as uncertainty since I was new to this entire world.
I say that the first thing that you should do is register me with the teachers of the city. Then secondly I suggest that you register yourself as a member of The Adventurous Guild.
The main street of this town was full of life. I saw people going in and out of the different shops and restaurants throughout the street.
At the very end of the main street, the road split into a t-shape.
The buildings that were located at the head of this t-shaped road were the different kinds of guilds that were frequently used by the locals and visiting members of them. This also made it very easy for me to memorize the layout of the key buildings that I needed to frequently visit.
The building that had the logo of a pair of four-legged beasts on it was located directly to the left of the adventurer's guild.
The inside of the tamer's association was quite lively with a variety of different workers assisting different tamers with a variety of things.
Some of the assistants were helping them get food while some were helping with getting clothing or armor for the specific type of companion.
I chose to ignore all of the other tamers around me and quickly made my way to the front desk so that I could register my companion.
"Hello welcome to the tamers association. How can we possibly help you today Miss?"
"I am here to register my falcon as a tamed beast".
"All right then, I will need you to place your falcon on this perching post, and we will use detect magic to scan information about this particular beast." A very polite lady said to me.
This woman was wearing a one-piece white dress from behind the table.
As soon as she finished speaking to me, my falcon flew off my shoulder and onto the perch.
The lady pointed her right hand with her palm open at my companion. And she did this I saw a blue light scan my falcon.
"You have tamed a very rare species of falcon. This species is known as a night falcon.
They are now your beast has been registered, and you can now freely use it with you and combat as well as carry it around the different cities within the human empire".
"Thank you very much for helping me register my companion".
"No problem. If you need anything else for your beast, you can always come back here,e, and we will offer you what you need in exchange for money.
Our services include grooming, getting feed, or any other possible thing that you might need for it".
After I finished with the tamers guild went over to the adventurer's guild next door.
The adventurers guild was much more lively and active than the building next door.
As soon as I entered into it I had to dodge a set of mugs that were thrown in my direction.
The air around me was filled with a lot of intense stairs as others were either gambling or drinking away the money they had just earned.
It took me about two minutes to make my way through the crowd of individuals that were in between myself and the front desk of the adventures guild.
"Hello, I would like to register as a member of The Adventurer's Guild". I said to a man who was at the front desk.
"We will need you to go down to the basement where we measure your grade of potential. The higher your grade is, the higher of an adventurer you will begin on us.
Just so you know, no matter how high your grade is, you will only be able to start as a gold plate". He said to me as he pointed to the stairs that went behind him.
I walked down the stairs and noticed that this area was much dimmer than the rest of the adventurous guild.
The area had a scroll on it and as I placed my hand on it crumbled into ashes after all twelve of the rings on it lit up with white color.
After I did that a robed man came out from the shadows and said something to me.
"You know that we do not have a record of someone doing that in over a thousand years. The last person who did this was from another world. So would it be that far-fetched for me to assume that I have found myself someone from another world"?
"You must be confused. I am just a simple Moon elf". I said to him since I did not want to reveal that I came from another planet.
The reason behind this is because in every story that I have read, when someone revealed this, they were either rushed to the Palace to aid the king of their country; or branded as a enemy of the country and cast out to the dark regions.
I did not want that to happen to me so I kept all my information about Earth silent.
"You cannot fool me with my appraising eye. There is a reason why they call me The Analyst. The fact that you were not originally from this world becomes as clear as day to me".
Great that tells me that I cannot hide the truth from him anymore. Would it be best in my interest to leave and find a life somewhere else, or use him as someone that I can trust with the secrets that I bring from another world?
"I do understand that you probably want to be left out of the political dilemmas of this world since you were not originally a part of this world.
I do not intend to bring you into the dilemmas of this world unless it is necessary. I just wanted to tell you that I do know that you are not originally from this world. I wish you luck in your endeavors in this new life that you have been given".
After he spoke the hooded figure faded into the darkness.
