POV: Ash
Location: Northern Empire
Green vines started coming out of the crushed rocks of the house, what preceded them was a cocoon in the shape of a giant plant monster, it was tall and round like a cylinder, with a purple flower folded on the top.
The flower on top of the monster bloomed with Shii standing in the middle.
The monster extended high in the sky to meet my altitude. Shii then looked at me directly with her eyes now painted deep purple, the shape of a Peony flower.
"Let me introduce myself properly," she pinned her staff to the green surface below her, "I am Welshi, the Vine witch."
A gust of cold wind blew my ash hair to the left, my dark dress was highlighted by the pure moonlight as I levitated in the air. My blood was circling me like a serpent, acting on its instinct.
"Welshi the Vine witch, this place would be your grave," I summoned my staff, "I am going to put an end to your dark rituals."
Welshi gasped out cold air and flicked her long gray hair to the back, it was being blown to the right by the wind. "Ash, you have already been destined to die here, your fate has already been sealed."
"BOOK OF ROOTS, INFINITE VINES."
The monster Welshi stood on began to launch strikes toward my direction, they were vines stretched out like long spears.
I did not say a word, my blood circled me in the shape of an orb, grinding all the projectiles that attacked me.
"Don't make me laugh," I shouted, my cold eyes staring directly at Welshi, "you think this is enough to kill me."
"BOOK OF SPELLS, TEARS OF THE DEVIL." My roaring voice shouted.
In a moment, a large magic circle formed above us, it was as red as a burning sun casting a warm glow over our heads.
Welshi stopped her attacks and looked up to the heavens, to the devil I had summoned.
I raised my staff in the air and let out a violent scream, "TEARS OF HELL, I COMMAND YOU TO COME FORWARD."
The sky glowed like the sun itself had risen, drops of magma began to rain down, setting the entire vegetation of flowers in flames. The magma did not stop there, it started to sink deep into the ground, making its way to the bedrock below us.
As the drops of magma mercilessly rained down on us, Welshi's eyes looked forward to me in confusion. "You witch! you are not even directing your attacks at me."
The ground below us has melted creating a lava bit untouchable to anything living. Welshi was forced to also levitate, her eyes now foaming with anger.
"Over a hundred years. A century it took me to raise these flowers, yet...yet you destroyed them in one night, you would pay for this Ash."
My eyes looked to the Lava pit below us and then to Welshii, they were red eyes, they carried no anger neither were they sad. They were indifferent eyes, the type of eyes that could not care less about what happens next.
"You have made me angry Welshi," I directed my words at her, "Yesterday Bash looked like he was about to cry, you have made my situation a reason for him to be sad, the burnt flowers are nothing but payback."
