POV: Ash
Location: Northern Empire
"Please Ash, sleep the night one more time with me, I would be lonely if you leave." Tiya was standing in front of the guild holding my luggage. It was the evening time we just got back from shopping, I stopped by the guild to change the yellow dress I borrowed to a red dress, one of the three dresses I bought.
"Someone is waiting for me, I can't keep him waiting any longer," My heavy words fell on Tiya's face looking at me like a child about to be separated from their mother.
"Tell me you would come visit me someday," she said, handing over my rectangle luggage to me.
I collected it and then looked at her directly in the eyes, "If my memories remained intact, I would visit you."
Her arms came crashing into my shoulders and she gave me a tight bear hug, Placing my hand on her back, I whispered into her ear, "Wish me a safe journey Tiya."
She pulled back from me and watched as I walked into the distance from her, just before I disappeared through a left corner, she yelled at me, "May the spirit of earth guard you on your journey."
The road ahead of me is huge, remaining five villagers to the memory barrier, the crossroad connecting the Southern Empire to the Northern Empire.
Walking for only twenty minutes, I got to the village center, where the teleportation gate is located. I have my small purse in one hand and my luggage in the other.
The queue I joined contained only nine people, the evening had low traffic of individuals who wants to use the gate. I waited in the small line looking at the two towers stretching into the heavens, Intrigue patterns of lines representing the rays of the sun adorn the pillars, the round stage they stood on was built with white stones, standing at five steps high.
A mature witch wearing a black hat stood in front of the round stage. Her staff adorned with a dark orb at the tip rested its base on the ground.
She was holding it with a rectangular ceramic pillar in front of her, travelers would insert ten gold coins through an opening of the ceramic pillar, and the witch only stared into their faces, counting the coins they insert in the ceramic chamber.
Gesturing her hand to the right, the individuals would walk five steps onto the stone stage. My turn arrived and I inserted my coins into the chamber, my eyes rosed to the sight of the witch staring at me, she wore black lipstick and and silver earrings.
Without even smiling, she gestured her hand and I walked to the round stage.
The two tall pillars stood with one meter between them, the air surrounding them homing with condensed mana.
Just like usual, I walked to the center of the pillars. A long beam of white light fall from the heavens and struck me, taking me away to my destination, to the Watergate village.
