POV: Ash
Location: Northern Empire
Getting up from my sitting position, I dusted my hands and started walking along the beach, the cool breeze blew my ash hair to the side, exposing the back of my neck to the sun about to set.
I got to a small cove and sat on a rock, closing my eyes I felt the sound of waves crashing against the shore. The salty air I inhaled expanded in my lungs and circulated throughout my body, I exhaled it while opening my closed eyes.
My eyes opened to a sight difficult to put in words, in front of me, a young lady was levitating her white hair standing on end. she was glowing white with a white dress wrapped around her body, her blue eyes looked into mine and she smiled at me.
"Who are you?" the words squeezed out of my lips.
She smiled again, "I am Lily, the spirit of the sea."
My eyes marvel again at her beauty, a beauty that could never be found in a human being.
"What do you want from me," I asked.
"I am here to bless you," she said, "To make your journey to the memory barrier a bit easier."
"You are the girl from before," I stated.
She smiled again with a face lacking any spot on it, "Open your mouth, Ash," she commanded.
On instinct, while sitting on the rock, my mouth opened and Lily floated close to me, she extended her finger and a cut formed on it.
From there, blue fluid came out like a drop of water, it landed on my tongue, sinking to my body.
The fluid felt cold, tasteless, and odorless.
After I swallowed the blessing, Lily began to float upwards with her white hands extended beside her.
"Wish you a safe journey, the child blessed with the crimson blood."
Her last words felt like a song to my ears, they came out with a sweet voice echoing throughout the horizon.
