POV: Ash
Location: Northern Empire
Welshi smiled with her dry lips, she was wearing a white gown extending to her ankles. "Payback to what I did to you, hmm, interesting."
Her short hand extended her staff in my direction, it charged with white light for a second then white beams rained towards me.
I flew in a curve to my right avoiding the strikes at high speed. The white beams explode with a loud bang every time they fall on any surface.
I changed my direction flying upwards in the direction of the moon, I then tilted my waist to point my staff at Welshi. Fireballs escaped from the tip and countered the white beams Welshi was attacking me with.
A smoke formed in the air and I made a quick escape in a random direction, tilting again to Welshi's location, I moved my hand in a curve and the blood levitating around me turned to arrows, the blood arrows went flying towards Welshi at high speed.
Sighting my attacks, she Immediately summoned a wall made out of green vines, my arrows crashed on the spikes sticking out of the vines.
Stopping at a large distance mid-air from Welshi, I gasped for air. I then raised my staff and made a circle with it, giving birth to eight tiny fireballs.
Extending my staff toward Welshi, the fireballs launched toward her at high speed. They crashed on the vines burning them to ashes.
The sight of Welshi holding her staff came into view, her eyes darted in my direction, "Playtime is over," she uttered.
"BOOK OF VINES, SONG OF THE MOONLIGHT FLOWER."
Our eyes were glued to each other as the ground surrounding the entire area began to shake and tremble.
Vines as wide as horses emerge in different directions, they come out one after the other. They started with me being able to see Welshi to now having a forest made of tall vines Separating us from each other.
What is she planning to do, I can't tell.
While levitating in a dark vine forest, suddenly, I heard a sound coming from my back, "This would be the place where you die," The voice said.
Turning in its direction, I was met with only the soft echo it left.
Bam... A one-foot wide vine crashed against my back, digging its spikes directly into my flesh. I coughed out blood as I was flung towards a vine tower in front of me.
Just before Impact, my blood spread like a blanket and then acted like a cushion, softening my landing on the tall green vine.
I went back to levitating gasping large chunks of air.
"BOOK OF SPELLS, MEGA FIREBALL," I chanted.
Growing a large fireball on the tip of my staff, I moved it in a circle clearing the path surrounding me.
My arm remained extended in the air, keeping my ears wide open hoping I could locate Welshi.
"It's futile," an echoing voice said.
I launched my fireball in that direction. it went straight burning everything in its path.
"It's futile," I said, the voice repeated itself.
Immediately afterward, the forest grew back to its original state, healing from all the destruction I caused.
"Shit," I whispered to myself, I have only three spells left before my mana runs out. using my blood too much would cause me to pass out.
