After Keagen had regain consciousness . He replied in a low, shaky tone, "I...I don't know who that is. Even that name, I've also, had never heard of it before.''
"What do you say? Speak up!" Dugeziel said with a intimidating face.
"I'm trying to say that. I don't know what you're talking about!'' exclaimed Keagen, being terrified.
''Hmm, I guess I—,'' Dugeziel responded as he suddenly tortured Keagen once more.
"AA-AAUGH!'' Shouted Keagen in pain, twisting in the chair while being tied down.
The agony had prolong for more than 5 minutes. After that, Dugeziel halted his dark magic and remarked, ''You would have gone home, if you just answer the question correctly and stop. Lying!''
"But I'm...telling the truth that I don't know!" replied Keagen with his head hanging down, breathing heavily and shivering in terror.
Dugeziel remain silent for a moment. Looking at Keagan with pity.
He turned to face the leader behind him, who was resting against the wall, while remaining mute. Dugeziel then asked, "Hey boss! Should we let him go?''
''Well, not here. But in Qiniel?'' responded the leader.
"Hmmm, okay, that's a great idea. But I think, after we get the info from him. Then he can go free,'' replied Dugeziel.
"Okay, fine with me," the leader answered, expressing little regard for Keagen's life.
The lady, on the other hand, felt apprehensive as she saw Keagen get tortured while being clueless of the situation
Dugeziel returned his gaze to Keagen with a malicious grin, stating, ''Well, he said it, he agrees that I'm not torturing you enough, and I'm being to nice to you.'' He then grabbed Keagen by the face and raised his head toward him. He then continued, ''Look, just tell where is the Ice demon is? And you'll go free. Why making it so hard for yourself, young man?''
Keagen started to shed tears and think to himself, "Who is evil guy?''
''Come on now, it's now getting late at night. Your mother— I...I feel sorry for her. How unfortunate she wont be seeing you again in this part of world. Which you know, your getting sent back to where you belong, child. And to think of it, I might have to send her back too, since I figured she maybe. A vampire too,'' said Dugeziel, grinning away his teeth.
"Well, I guest your right. She most be a vampire pretending to be human in this world,'' remarked the leader, agreeing with Dugeziel.
"Huh, I'm feeling proud of myself, discovering this secrete mystery," said Dugeziel, feeling good about himself.
Keagen in the meantime, began to look at the Dugeziel in fear, pouring droplets of sweats down his face.
"Alright, back to where I was,'' said Dugeziel as he focus back on Keagen and added, ''So, I'm gonna ask you once again, and if you don't comply. Then, the agonizing pain will become much more terrifying than before; you don't want to feel that again, do you?''
At that very moment, Dugeziel grin with evil intention and stretched his hand at Keagen, ready to show the young boy pure horror.
"Dugeziel, enough! He looks very confused on what we are trying to get from him,'' said the woman.
''What did you just say?'' replied Dugen feeling irritated by not doing his deeds.
"I said stop it, right now!'' said the woman that repeated herself. She then turn to her leader and said, ''Akviad, I think there is another way than torturing a child that seems to not know anything,'' said the woman.
"Boss! Don't listen to her, she's making any sense here. My way is better,'' said Dugeziel.
''Dugeziel, silence your provocative words, let me hear her end of the proposal,'' responded Akvaid.
''Alright, fine, but I still think my method is always work,'' said Dugeziel.
"Dugeziel! Watch your words! for there are times to go the insane way and a time to do the good way of interrogation. Depending on who we are dealing with. Besides, we are a team here, others opinions matter,'' said Akviad as he turn to the young woman and added, ''Alright then, let me hear what you have to say about this boy, young lady.''
"Well, sir, I can help get the information without hurting him,'' replied the woman.
"Hmmm. Okay, I see your point. You want try go into his memories, I'm I right?'' replied Akviad of the group, agreeing with the woman's suggestion.
"Yes,'' replied the woman.
"Alright, that's a good idea. To be honest, I almost forgot you can go inside memories,'' said Akviad as he chuckled for a moment and continued. "And Dugeziel over there remembers, but instead he opted to do it his way. [*Sigh*] He's acting foolish at this point, goodness me. For I wonder how his parents were able to manage him back then?'' Akviad muttered, placing his hand on his forehead in disappointment.
"Okay, I'm going,'' said the woman.
"Yeah, you do that,'' replied Akviad.
Dugeziel in the meantime, stepped away from Keagen and lean against a table, close to the wall.
"We're supposed to be the most fourth fearsome bounty hunters, so therefore no suspect should be treated well. Like what the heck, lady?" Dugeziel muttered to himself.
The woman approaching Keagen. Made him feel puzzled and threatened by her hidden intensions.
Keagen, who was breathing, panicked with paused in his breath when the woman approached him.
He wondered within himself if she had a more sinister approach than the man who had harmed him.
But, surprisingly, she attends to him in a calm and welcoming manner.
"Please don't be afraid. I apologize for my fellow partner who is leaning against the table over there. He tends to go off at times, well, to give you a slight background about him, his past upbringings was not ideal. But as long as I'm around, he's harmless. Most of the times,'' stated the woman, smiling at Keagen.
"Why is she being so nice to me? I think I don't like where this is going at all,'' said Keagen in his thougth.
Dugeziel behind her leaning against the table, gaze at her in disbelief. ''Huh, she's making me sound like a boy who needs disparate help. If only— But then again, even after the 3 years of working together. I am always having this feeling not to double cross her,'' said Dugeziel having an internal monologue.
"Okay, please relax and let me help you with this pain your feeling,'' said the woman as she rest her hand on Keagen's chest, closed her eyes in deep concentration, and begin to heal him.
Keagen's breath was cut short for a second when she placed her hand on him. Within that same moment, he saw a green beautiful wave light, emerge from her palm and spreads across his chest and entire body.
After he had received the healing, he looked at her, amazed and wondered to himself, ''Huh, it never occurred to me on how beautiful she is, and the mysterious light she just released form her palm. It had left me wondering on what's her motives in working with those men.''
Keagen looked down at his hand and begins to fold his fist and released it repeatedly. He figured that the tense pain he is feeling after the torture is gone.
In that same moment, he looked back at the woman that stood with a calm posture and was in disbelief.
"What the? I don't feel the aching pain anymore,'' said Keagen in his thoughts.
"Alright, since that's out of the way. We can now have a reasonable conversation,'' said the woman in a calm manner, staring at Keagen, who was still in shock from what he had just experienced.
************
The day Keagen was abducted. His mother got concerned because he hadn't returned home yet. She stood quietly in her residence, staring at a weird wooden box, thinking of a potential dilemma.
"Perhaps I should call the cops first. He's been out there much too long; it's almost 6 p.m.,'' said Sillia to herself in the dining room.
Tik Tok! Tik Tok!
Within that same moment, while the clock was ticking in the dining room, she continued with her internal monologue. She begins to have second thoughts due to her son's perilous predicament with the pills.
"[*Sigh*] However, if I do call the cops, went out with them in search of my son; found him at a situation where he forget to take his pill? [*Argh!*] Why I'm I being so execrative about this?! I need to remain calm,'' said Sillia, pondering.
At that time of her frustration, she returned her gaze to the weird wooden box in front of her and added, ''Okay, I'll take it into my own hands first. Just to be safe, avoid placing any innocent lives on something they can't comprehend or handle.''
She approached the wooden box on the counter cabinet and unlocked it with a peculiar silver key, which contained a dark red jewel at the top.
After inserting the key into the wooden box, it opens in an odd way. The lock twists on its own with strange written mystical symbols, spinning anticlockwise and clockwise to open.
She opened the box's lid, revealing a clear crystal ball and a silver compass, containing inside a enchanted crimson stone gem on the arrow.
"This would be best," Sillia remarked, taking out the crystal ball and using it to pinpoint Keagen's last known location.
"Moklire," Sillia said, casting a spell on her object.
At the same time, according to the description of its impact, the crystal begins to exhibit a dark red ink spreading inside the ball.
She waits a few seconds until her enchanted ball was able to reveal her son's location. Observing what the crystal showed, she discovered that her son's bag pack is left in an area near to a fence house.
"Shoot! I was right all along that this could happen,'' Sillia exclaimed in her thought. She quickly took action in placing her magical compass in her red leather hand bag, then used her vamp speed to get ready.
************
Arriving at the district where Keagen's bag pack was left behind. A car stopped at the sidewalk which a person stepped out the vehicle, heading over to the bag pack.
Click! Clack! Click! Clack!
A foot step of a high heel boots halted. Keagen's mother which arrived within the area, investigates on what took place with her son's abduction. "[*Sigh*] I was afraid that this day might come, but now it's happening. My son will come to knowing the secret I have kept for many years,'' said Sillia, thinking to herself.
She stared at the red pill that burst on the ground and had a deep thought about how they were able to find her here.
"Damn it!" Sillia exclaimed in frustration.
Suddenly, a deep growl erupted behind the wired fence. Sillia, hearing the growl, looked to where it was coming from and realized it was an angry dog defending the house while his master was away.
Meanwhile, the German shepherd growled at her and advanced a few steps towards her. Sillia looked into his eyes with boldness and menace in her demeanor.
The German shepherd, without a second thought, became scared and retreated back to his location, where he mostly concealed himself, before charging at strangers.
"Hm, so, I suppose you are the one who scared my son, while he passed here,'' said Sillia, smiling and adding. ''Well, I can't blame you for guarding your master's property. However, given how easily scared you are right now, I assume that someone was here before,'' said Sillia, speaking to the dog.
She looked down at the spill pill in front of her and confirmed it was fresh after Keagen was taken.
"Okay, I guest; that means my son is not that far off. I should be able to track him down with my compass,'' said Sillia, thinking to herself.
She shifted her attention to the pills on the ground, saying, "This must go; I cannot let anyone come across this."
With watchful alertness, she searched the area for potential witnesses. Then she begins her act of removing the evidence from the sidewalk.
"Alright, let's see here,'' said Sillia, as she took out a small hand book and search for a spell.
"Okay, this should do it," stated Sillia, locating the spell for the current situation. She hurriedly removed a glass bottle from her handbag. And returned her small weird handbook.
After doing that, she placed her palm over the spill red substance, then whispered a strange language to alter it's form into red powder.
"Kovosika tau rimeri.''
The blood on the sidewalk instantly transformed into a powdery floating ball, which entered the bottle she had placed alongside it.
Gazing at the glass bottle she's holding in her gloved right hand, she begins having her last internal monologue once again before leaving.
"Well, it appears that they don't know the mother that Keagen has. Because, once I've found them, they will never see the light again,'' stated Sillia as her eyes became crimson red in fury of her missing child.
The German Shepherd in his corner rests his head and whines over the unpleasant emotion he detects from Keagen's mother.
