Within the present of Keagen held captive in the warehouse. Ivicka, using her special magic, continued to restore Keagen's memories while also inhabiting his mind. While she was in his mind, she seeks to find answers for herself and her companions target.
Meantime, Ivicka using her magic. Her comrades, Akviad and Dugeziel, remained waiting on her return from Keagen's mind.
After some time had passed, they still waited silently for Ivicka. Dugeziel, who was staring at his magical silver pocket watch, closed it, placed it in his pocket, and raised his head to his leader, Akviad. At that same moment, he began initiating a conversation with him.
"Hey, boss, I was thinking. What kind of recollection would she encounter in this boy's mind? Would it be terrible, or maybe it would be?—" Dugeziel questioned.
"No, it would certainly be the first questioned that you've mentioned, terrible,'' replied Akviad.
"And…why is that, boss?'' Dugeziel asked.
"Well, based on our past experience when Ivicka showed us through what happened in the memory orb. You should be aware that vampires have terrible recollections of their past lives, particularly this one as well,'' Akviad responded.
After Dugeziel had heard from what his leader said. He stared muted at Akviad for a moment, then asked again, "Hm, you gotta point there. But, what if we're wrong about this one, like there could be possibilities?''
"Dugeziel, I think the late night is getting to you. Please, it is better to remain quiet until Ivicka returns to us,'' replied Akviad.
"Okay, fine, I'll keep my mouth shut for now, since you implied that my questions sounds stupid,'' responded Dugeziel.
"Dugeziel, your question are not foolish, but I assumed you should've known the answer to that question," replied Akviad, returning his gaze to Ivicka.
"Oh yeah, I remember now. Vampire past lives had always been tragic, which... some of them chose to forget that human dark life," Dugeziel answered.
"Indeed that is correct. Well, as I said before, you've already knew the answer to that question,'' replied Akviad, acknowledging his comrades statement.
"Yeah, of course, boss. For how could I ever forget the experience we had with one before,'' responded Dugeziel, as he take out his silver pocket watch, along with his chocolate bar. At that same moment, he took a deep breath and started to wait silently again, while munching his chocolate bar.
"Goodness, he always had to take something from strange worlds,'' said Akviad in his head.
Meanwhile, Ivicka reconnecting Keagan's mind. She also made herself dwell inside to find clues of his connection to Largadious.
Entering into Keagen's mind, she found herself in a dimed abandoned laboratory.
"Alright, I've made it in safely!" Said Ivicka, realizing that someone in Keagen's memories had probably heard her. Shortly, she covered her mouth and murmured to herself, "Shoot... I really hope no one heard me."
After she stood there for a brief second, contemplating if anyone heard her. She release her hand from her mouth and began to look around her.
"Hmm, to think of it, if Keagen doesn't know me from the past? Then I shouldn't be visible to anyone here. Which means it can't be difficult to observe them openly,'' said Ivicka, thinking to herself, while showing confidence.
After finishing her internal monologue. She started wandering down the abandoned lab hallway, looking for answers to give her fellow comrades.
"Damn, this place really creeps me out,'' said Ivicka to herself, walking alone.
Suddenly, voices was heard 10 feet from Ivicka within the abandoned lab hallway. Ivicka at same time, hurried over to see where the voices were coming from and spotted a closed door on the right.
After she had discovered the voices behind the door. She noticed that door tilted open. Cautiously, she raised her right hand to open the tilted door, but suddenly hesitated.
"Wait, why I'm I feeling so scared to open this door? It's not they will see or hear me?'' said Ivicka, questioning herself.
Meanwhile, Ivicka is within Keagen's thoughts.
Dugeziel sat on the table, arm folded and head hanging down, patiently waiting after finishing his candy bar. He took out his previously stored pocket watch and checked the time.
When he realized it was getting late, he put his pocket watch back in his dark brown trench coat and initiate a conversation with Akviad once more.
"Well this looks bad, it seems like she might have gotten caught in that young boy's mind,'' said Dugeziel.
"No, she's fine. The boy doesn't have any recollection of her in the past,'' replied Akviad, staring at Ivicka with Keagen.
"Hmmm, good point, but still though. Why is she taking so long with this boy?'' Dugeziel inquired.
"Hmm, Dugeziel.''
"Yes boss.''
''Dugeziel,'' said Akviad calling his comrade name again, being displeased.
"Yes, I'm listening,'' replied Dugeziel, being clueless of his leader.
"Didn't I tell you not to speak, right? Until Ivicka return to us?'' Akviad inquired while looking down, waiting for Dugeziel reply.
"Yeah, you did,'' replied Dugeziel.
"Then why are you still talking?" Akviad continued to question, as he turned his focus to Dugeziel.
Dugeziel remained silent for a second by Akviad response, then leaned forward from the table and replied, ''Well, sir, I apologize for doing that, but with due respect. I'm just concern if she's gonna make it out of that boy's thoughts?''
Akviad stared at Dugeziel for a second, then smile and replied, ''It's funny how you started showing a little interest in her?''
"She's my comrade. Of course, I'll show concern for her safety at times,'' Dugeziel responded, leaning back into his regular position.
"Hmm, you sure have a point there, especially considering she's our companion. But, anyway, I believe from her last experience, she wont let it happen again with this young person,'' Akviad replied, returning his attention to Ivicka.
"Which I totally agree with you, because from what I remember. Her last unfortunate encounter had a lot of experience to counteract her special magic,'' replied Dugeziel, as he turned his focus on Ivicka as well.
"Indeed. Now, besides from her past experience. Let's wait and see if she can pull if off with this young boy's mind,'' Akviad remarked.

Meanwhile, Ivicka in Keagen's memories considers whether she should trust her instincts before entering the door.
''Damn it, you know what? I'm not gonna take uneasy feeling lightly,'' Ivcika remarked to herself in a quiet voice.
At that moment, she carefully placed her hand on the knob and slowly pushed it open to see and hear what was going on.
"We thank you so much, Dr. Soviet, for taking the time to help us once again,'' said the woman.
"It is my pleasure, Miss. Dalloweb to assist as always. For you people deserve so much better than this life,'' replied the doctor.
To Ivicka's disbelief, she learned it was one of the scientists who collaborated with the first woman to develop the vampire quencher.
"Cassidy? What is she doing here? "And why is she helping this vampire?" Ivicka asked in confusion.
During that same moment, Ivicka was listening to the conversation. Cassidy noticed out of the corner of her eye that the door was open and a woman was attempting to hide while observing her and the vampire lady. Suddenly, she turned to face the door.
With a intense stare from Cassidy. Ivicka felt uneasy about what she was witnessing, ''Oh crap! it looks like she must've notice me.''
"Dr. Soviet, is there something wrong?" the vampire woman asked.
Cassidy instantly dismissed what she saw and turned to the vampire woman, saying. ''Huh? Oh no, I just…I just thought I saw something, but it might be my mind playing tricks on me.''
"Hmm. If you like, Miss Soviet? Could I check it out for you just to put your mind at ease?" Ivicka asked, concerned.
"Oh no, it's totally fine. I'm simply being overly paranoid after a long night working on the portal; so please don't be so worry about it, okay?'' Cassidy responded calmly, resting her hand on the woman's shoulder.
" Yeah, okay, I shall respect your wishes," replied the vampire woman.
Ivicka, standing behind the wall, began to feel relieved that she was not noticed.
"[*Phew*] That was a close one; I almost thought she could see me," said Ivicka in her thought.
Within the same instant of her concealing behind the wall, she returned to the door to look and listen to the conversation.
"Anyway, you should start preparing yourself and your child. Because this gateway may not be open the second time," Cassidy stated, staring at the portal machine.
"And why is that?'' the vampire woman questioned.
"Well, we don't have much time, and I've technically hastened without thinking of adding much of a power cell to this portal machine. Sillia, for what I'm trying to say is. These hunters are coming after you, to get to your husband. Furthermore, they also have a magical compass, so it's only a matter of time before they find us,'' explained Cassidy.
"Well, so this is where they were hiding,'' said Ivicka to herself.
"Mum...mum, I'm starving, do you have any food I can eat?'' said the 5 years old boy, approaching his mother and looking up at her.
"Not now, sweety, soon,'' replied Sillia to her son.
"What the? A female vampire having a child? How could this happen? Maybe, they've upgraded the pill to make the egg become fertile. But then again, it was announced that it will take awhile for them to make those changes occur. But then again, who knows if they could kept as a secret?'' said Ivicka having a deep thought about the encounter.
***************
"[*Sigh*] Okay, I'll just go back to look at those blue flask,'' said Sillia's son in disappointment, as he began to walk towards the lab desk with his head hanging down.
"Keagen,'' said Sillia having concern for her son.
"Keagen! I have something good to tell you,'' said Cassidy.
"Huh?'' replied Keagen as he turned around to the voice that called him.
"Please, come here,'' said Cassidy.
Keagen being curious, head towards the Cassidy and said,''What is it, Miss Soviet?''
"Well, for what your mother is trying to tell you is that you will get all the delicious food you need. Once you and her get through that portal, right over there,'' Cassidy explained.
"Really?'' Keagen responded with a smile.
"Yes, really,'' replied Cassidy, agreeing with Keagen.
"Awesome, I can't wait to go through that portal,'' replied Keagen with an enthusiastic expression.
Cassidy smiled and focused her gaze at Sillia,'' Keagen sure is humble. It appears that you raised him well, Miss. Dalloweb.''
Sillia smile back at Cassidy and replied,'' Yup, I sure did; I did what a mother does best for her child.''
"Hmm, as expected.'' said Cassidy, continuing her statement,'' A child without adequate guidance will become lost in their surroundings. Which means, you did good as his parents, shaping him into a lovely young man.''
Sillia gazed down at her child standing next her, grateful for the day she had him.
"Oh Keagen, my beloved son, your father will be so proud when he sees you grow up to be a great man one day," Sillia stated, optimistic about the future ahead.

Meanwhile, Ivicka became a little emotional on what she just heard. "Awe, I never knew a vampire could have such warm emotion. Wait, what I'm doing? I should keep focus on connecting memories,'' said Ivicka regaining her focus on her mission.
Meanwhile, Ivicka became intrigued by what she had just seen. "Would you look at that, I never knew a vampire had such compassion. Wait, what am I saying? I should keep focus on what I came for'' said Ivicka, regaining her focus on finding answers in Keagen's thoughts.
At the same moment, Ivicka closed her eyes and concentrated on locating the next opening to another recollection of Keagen's prior life.
Suddenly, she gently opens her eyes. She found herself in a library room, with a man holding magical ice in his palm.
Ivicka immediately realized she had located the man they were trying to find. "I can't believe it. This is the man we've been searching for across Qiniel. Hmm? unfortunately, I'm now concerned about why this youngling has this man in his memory?'' said Ivicka, having an internal monologue to herself, while standing behind the man that was holding the ice magic in his palm.
"Dad, why I'm I seeing an ice ball hovering in your hand?"
Ivicka, which heard the voice of a young boy. Quickly shifted her gaze away from the man, and noticed 5-year-old Keagen standing at the door, staring at his father's casting ice magic.
"Wow, what are the odds? So, he's Keagen's father,'' said Ivicka to herself.
