Barbara sat inside the carriage, fidgeting, feeling her nervousness levelling up as they were heading to the palace to attend the queen's birthday party.
"Why are you anxious?" Kristie asked, seeing the clear anxiousness in her eyes.
"I do not know," Barbara responded, her lips trembling.
Kristie's lips curved upward. "Don't tell me you are nervous because you broke your parent's words? Do not worry. I will handle them," she commented mockingly.
Barbara frowned. Kristie's words were not completely wrong. She was anxious about her parent's reaction but what feared was turning into a laughingstock in this dress. She was really afraid that the project would die before it would be born! Her heartbeats rose as they went through the gate.
