SONG RECOMMENDATION: PHEONIX BY LEAGUE OF LEGENDS
****
Natasha was carried on the shoulder of a man like a sack of potatoes. She had never seen this man before in her life. Behind them were two other men who were also strangers to her. They carried her into a dark room and tossed her to the ground like some lifeless doll. She could hear her ribs crack at the sudden and painful impact.
She screamed due to the pain but none of the men cared about her painful cries. They walked up to her to bind her with chains in both her hands and legs not minding the fact that her body was writhing all over the ground. When they were done binding her and placing her in a kneeling position they stood up to leave but stopped when they heard the woman speaking.
"If you don't kill me now you will never have the chance to do it again. If your boss wants me dead then tell him to kill me now, because when I get out of here I will make him pay for all his sins against me. Him and everyone else with him". Natasha said.
The bitterness in her heart was so strong that for the first time in her life, she allowed her negative emotions to surface outside for the world to see. She had always killed that side of her. No one would have believed that she was the same Natasha they all knew.
Maybe it was different because of the person responsible for her pain. The one man she thought she could trust to have her back, to always support her was the one to cause all this pain to her. Within one day she lost everything that she held dear to her heart.
"Listen, princess, you don't have a say anymore in the affairs of the company or this house anymore. Right now you are nothing but a slave who should do only as told". One of the men who brought her in said while lifting her chin with his finger so she could look him in the eyes.
Instead of feeling threatened, Natasha busted into sardonic laughter. Then men were surprised and confused hearing her laugh. Right now she looked nothing like the woman who had grown up like a modern-day pampered princess with no worries.
It was as if the happy and kind-hearted Natasha had always been an illusion. A facade she puts in front of everyone. But they knew her better. They knew that that was the real her. She has been that way since she was born. Then what is with the sudden change of personality?
The Natasha before them now looked like someone willing to slaughter the whole country within seconds without batting an eye if she could.
Situations change people, but they had never imagined this woman to change this much no matter what the situation was.
"You know what?" she asked.
"It does not matter whether you kill me or not. Whether I die or live I will find my way back to take my revenge, no matter what it takes". Natasha said with gritted teeth.
"Even if I have to exchange thousands of lives just to return and have my revenge I will do it".
"Take these words back to him and tell him that he will not live happily whether I live or die".
"I will crawl my way out of hell if I have to just to get to him". Natasha said and ended with a sadistic smile on her lips. Her amber eyes burned like flames.
Then three men wanted to laugh at her words but seeing the promise of sudden death to everyone in those amber eyes, they didn't dare laugh. Subconsciously they took a step back and away from her. Fear got into them as they continued staring at Natasha unable to take their eyes off her.
"Do you three plan on keeping me company here? Or you are too stupefied to walk back out of the door?" Natasha asks sarcastically.
At her words, they were snapped out of their trance and hurriedly took their steps towards the door as if they were being chased and shut the door close after going through it and locking it from the outside. In no way were they going to take any chances with her.
Left alone in the room, Natasha gritted her teeth in anger. Her hands balled into fists and her nails digging into her palms made small droplets of blood fall to the ground.
"Just wait and see."
"You wait."
"You will all pay with your lives. I will make you all pay". She said into the darkness of the room.
"Interesting!" A voice said out of nowhere in particular. " May I know how little bunny?"
Natasha heard a grim voice in the room. Cold and freezing air encompassed the room making her shiver. She tried to remember if anyone was left behind in the room with her but there was none in her memories.
The voice was unfamiliar to her ears. There was this sense of danger she felt hearing that voice. But she brushed it aside. Right now she needs help to get out of there. If this man can get in through a locked door then he should also be able to get out the same way taking her along with him.
She searched the room trying to locate the source of the voice in the darkness but she couldn't find anyone nearby. She could swear the voice came from inside.
"Who are you?" Natasha asked to make sure the void came from within and not outside.
"Someone whose interest was piqued at your words". The voice said and with this, Natasha was sure the voice came from inside and not outside the room.
"Can you help me?" Natasha asked again.
"Indeed! But will keep your word?" The voice asked. Natasha was confused. What words is he talking about?
"What word are you referring to?" Natasha asked.
"I repeat and I quote 'Even if I have to exchange thousands of lives just to come back and have my revenge I will do it. These are the words I am referring to. Will you keep your word?"
Natasha could hear warning bells ringing loudly in her head but she was too hurt and angered to pay attention to them. If this man can truly help her then she will accept his help. It's not like he will make her take the lives of a thousand people.
Natasha scanned the room again and finally, she could see a shadowy silhouette at the far end of the room. She tried to make out his face from the darkness but she could not because of the hood the man wore.
"Yes. I will keep my word. I will do anything to make them pay and get back all that they have taken from me. No matter what it takes". Natasha said with no hesitation in her voice.
As soon as she was done talking, she heard a grim chuckle from the shadow and then came to his words. "Are you sure about that? You might regret making a deal with me". He said and took a step closer and stopped again at a distance not so far from her.
"There will be no turning back once the deal is made. So, I advise you to think and rethink your decision again". The voice of the man echoed in the dark room.
