'What is she doing here?' he thought, frowning, seeing her talking with a stranger so freely. The man seemed dangerous, with the long scar from his cheeks to his chin. What did she want from that man? They seemed engrossed in a heated conversation! She even handed him a pouch! Who was inside it?
