This was it Dyre's last battle and the final battle in the tournament. The crowd didn't know what the prize would be, but they knew that it couldn't be Dyre's.
As he walked out to the arena, boos and scowls were cascaded on him. But it did not stop him.
'This is nothing.' Dyre thought to himself. Their jeers were accepted by him, and in turn he would show them his greatness.
Then he faced her, Allabelle. She stood there, smiling and obviously excited for this battle. All her battles before this had been easy and had bored her.
But now Dyre was here. A real challenge for her, a wall to overcome.
The Unnamed signaled the start to the final battle.
Dyre took a defensive stance and Allabelle charged him. dark blue energy surrounded Allabelle's hands and formed claws.
Allabelle slashed at Dyre. "{Golden Catcher}" Dyre finally used the first move of the [Golden Beast Defensive Arts] in which he caught Allabelles attack.
Allabelles smile grew brighter at this act. "You really are my rival!" she declared.
Dyre smiled under his helmet and readied his spear in one hand. "[Drake Piercer]! Dyre screamed as he stabbed out with his spear.
Allabelle flew backwards when struck, but when she landed it was clear to everyone that she wasn't even scratched by that attack.
Dyre, seeing this, got excited, and used weight shifting. "[Lighten]!" He yelled.
Dyre jumped up and increased the weight of his spear and shouted "[Wyvern Cleaver]!" Slashing his spear down.
Allabelle, seeing this, tried to attack first slamming both her claws into his stomach.
Dyre kept seeing this, he smiled and kept his spear in motion. The spear hit first and struck Allabelle in the shoulder.
Allabelle's body was now fully covered in the dark blue power. Blocking Dyre's attack, she then clawed at Dyre.
The golden armor stood firm against the onslaught. The crowd roared with excitement and started chanting Allabelle's name.
Allabelle smiled at this and said. "Well we know who won over the crowd." she smiled cheekily at that.
Dyre smiled as he never truly fought anyone before Allabelle, Owen and Oliver long left him behind even before he picked up the spear. But now he was truly dancing with his rival, and he couldn't be happier.
"The cries of other's matters not to this dance, my rival!" Dyre yelled gallantly as he rushed back to Allabelle.
" [Weighten]! " He roared as he twisted his waist while holding his spear in both his hands.
"[Wyrm Cutter]!" he cried as he slashed the spear at her. Even with the blue energy covering her person, Allabelle flew back, crashing into the wall.
Allabelle while picking herself started laughing "Well then let's try this." and as she said this the miasma then spiraled around her and then she shouted "{Miasma Armor!}" She cried and as she did the miasma that surrounded her shifted around becoming less like a dark blue flame and more like cloth and metal.
After a short while Allabelle was now covered head to toe in ornate blue armor with a hood that matched her father.
'That was her armor she wore in the game!' Dyre thought to himself. He hadn't really thought about it but the warrior in front of him probably wasn't even one tenth of the allabelle that he saw in his dreams.
Allabelle stood there seemingly trying to center herself, as Dyre kept his spear at the ready. Then before he knew it Allabelle appeared in front of him, with her first in his stomach. Even with the golden armor Dyre felt like he took a warhammer to the stomach.
Then the force of the attack hit him, which blasted him back. Stopping himself with gae bulg,
Dyre tried to steady himself as Allabelle reapered in front of him again.
Holding his spear forward, Dyre used [Weightless Flurry] again and again. He had guessed that the battle had become a war of attrition, and that the victor would be revealed soon.
So Dyre kept on the offensive with his spear, while Allabelle, even with her armor, kept Dodging. Until Allabele tried to end this unending series of stabs, she had grabbed his spear and tried to ready herself for an attack of her own.
But when she grabbed the spear Dyre smiled to himself, "[Drake Piercer]!" he said as he attacked with Allabelle still holding it.
She stood there like a stone after the counter, her armor stopping any wounds, but soon after her armor disappeared and with that she passed out falling on her face.
{You have shocked the entirety of hell + 50 to will stat}
{Will stat has gone over 50 you have gained the skill [undying spirit]}
Dyre turned to the announcer, but he was staring at something else, much to Dyre's confusion. The confusion only lasted until Dyre looked to where the announcer was looking, it was the Unnamed.
The Unnamed was no longer sitting but now was standing and staring daggers at Dyre, and when he noticed that Dyre had started to look back at him, he disappeared from everyones sight.
Dyre than felt a hand on his shoulder, Dyre had a sickening suspicion of whose hand it was. Then a voice filled with wrath gilded by wisdom older than the heavens themselves suddenly spoke behind him.
"You're going to tell me how a child that has barely become a man, that even the heavens forgotten has the skills of the dragon slayers and how did you increase your power by this amount before the seasons end?"
It was obviously the Unnamed, Dyre knew he could tell him about seeing a future in a bizarre way. Dyre himself didn't know how he got the system and knowledge of the future.
"Do you remember what you did to me?" Dyre said as he slowly turned facing the hooded king of wrath. "You and the other kings feared what I could become, do you remember that?" Dyre said, talking to the Unnamed, eyes locked on the red spheres that floated under the hood.
Dyre then took off his helmet showing all of hell his face, the audience was silent.
"You feared me, you all did. All of you feared me so much that you would rather deal with destroying the cease fire than fight Tyren Lantern!" Dyre's voice seemed echoed throughout all of hell, While the Unnamed stood there patiently taking in Dyre's answer.
"You must have forgotten, well it did work didn't it? One by one the lantern family gave up on him, so it makes sense how all of you would too." Dyre said now looking all around the arenas stadium.
"What? Did you think that you had declawed me, that I was no longer able to become a warrior worthy of legends, with two pitiful curses on my being?" he said looking back at the Unnamed.
"So you want revenge!" The Unnamed yelled like he had solved the case. Dyre stood there arms lowered with a dumbfounded look on his face. Then his body started slightly shaking, his cheeks bulged, and he started snorting.
And soon he started laughing like a mad man, it was a true joy filled laugh, which left all of hell quite all over again.
"Damn, you're funny." Dyre said trying to stop his laughter, after a short while Dyre had somewhat pulled himself together and continued talking.
"No!" he said with a massive grin "If i wanted revenge, i wouldn't be here! the boy roared.
In honest if Dyre solely wanted revenge he could have taken the death knight class that was offered to him. But what he truly wanted was so much more than just revenge.
"Then why?" the King of wrath asked, Drye smiled and while he spoke he used his new skill. So as he spoke white fire soon covered the young man.
"Because i'm on your side."
