Chapter 15 - Heaven's Ignorance

When Dyre reached the otherside he was immediately grabbed. Taking a second to reacclimate himself, he realized it was Lilith, who had grabbed him and was now hugging him.

"How long was I gone?" Dyre said surprised, Lilith answered with closed eyes still hugging him.

"Five Minutes, twenty seconds." She said still holding her child, Dyre sighed and spoke.

"Well it's good i'm now Immortal." Dyre said dryly, Lilith laughed at Dyre's statement.

"Scorpius may be powerful, but he was far from being immortal. There is a reason that the heavens made twelve of them only for them to be a distraction for the Behemoth." She said while still hugging him.

Dyre then smiled to "You think I would become a beast lord with that useless bug?" Dyre then started laughing in his mother's confused arms.

"Behemoth?" Lilith said with a shocked look on her face, making Dyre laugh harder.

Dyre just kept smiling at his mom's question. Lilith kept the shocked shocked look on her face, until she started laughing.

"And that hooded bastard thinks that his daughter can surpass you!" Lilith said, tearing up while laughing.

The unnamed shat on his throne stewing, he then looked to his general. "Play it again."

The figure in the brown cloak nodded and then moved their hand. And as they did a crystal burst through the ground, and as the ground pulled itself together. The crystal hovered and then replayed the moment that Dyre unleashed his spirit.

"How?" he said as he watched the boy covered in spirit, "How did he do it? Genetics? No, even if Owen is a blood thirsty fool he would have unlocked by now."

His general then raised their skeletal hand. The diamond lich, Denali the current General of wrath. When the Unnamed gave the go ahead Denali started talking.

"I believe it has to do with the fighter's will." Then after saying that, another large crystal emerged from the ground then floated up and it too played a scene from the past.

In this crystal showed a man that looked like an older Dyre. With long white hair tied into a bun and a square jaw, he looked like what Dyre could be at his peak. But this was not a vision of the future but of the past.

Then the image started to move and speak. "I don't care if it's heaven or hell! I will protect my home!" The man said, screaming alight with white spirit. This was the first lantern, the human to catch the eyes of heaven and hell and the first person who used spirit, Dyre Lantern.

"The Dyre name really fits huh?" He said disinterestedly, "But I still don't see your point."

Then a third crystal rose to prove its crafter's point but when it reached the same height as the others.

It split into multiple pieces and then played a very similar image. The first one featured a boy at the age of 15, and then each one in order was older than the last. Golden hair and green eyes that are dull and unfocused and each version of this man said only one thing.

"I will bring you down in heaven's name."

No shouting, no anger, and definitely no passion. The Unnamed laughed at the fact that even Owen came from and created someone like Dyre.

"It also could be a bloodline of someshort." Denali suggested, "Like the elemental families." They continued.

The Unnamed kept staring at the three different men that laid in the crystals. Dyre Lantern was one of the few warriors that he could respect, but Owen was sadly just another mindless pawn of heaven.

But this one, the fallen didn't know what to think. Son of Lilith, Dragon slayer, and multiple relics counting Midas' armor and how he got Gae bulge was a mystery to him. Now add spirit to it and it felt like he was watching a growing calamity right in front of him.

Now to which side the calamity would fall on was what worried the unnamed. He had foolishly thought he had declawed the cub but it was now obvious to him that he had not defanged him.

While the unnamed was thinking about his newfound champion and problem. Then while he was thinking, The Unnamed suddenly had a sickening feeling. As if the entirety of hell hath frozen over, he was confused for only a second until he realized why he felt so disgusted.

The Unnamed then called to the being causing this feeling through gritted teeth.

"Rapheal." The Unnamed said while trying not to destroy the entire room around him.

Then a hallowed figure appeared in the middle of the room.He was grace incarnate, Two beautiful pairs of wings white as the clouds in spring slowly flapped allowing him to hover in the air. Hair black as the deep night sky, Eyes the held the color of sapphires, and His face was perfectly crafted.

This is Rapheal, one of the strongest angels and the archangel of Valada. Raphael just stood there, looking down on the wrathful fallen.

"Where is Tyren?" Raphael finally spoke, the Unnamed only smiled under his hood.

"I will not repeat myself again, traitor!" Rapheal proclaimed as he outstretched his four wings trying to make the Unnamed reveal what he wanted to know.

But the Unnamed was unfazed, the only thing giving him trouble was holding his anger, his wrath. Then the Unnamed spoke to Rapheal for the first time in a millennium.

"Don't forget who you are and who you serve, Valada's pawn. You must have forgotten who was the only Angel to ever achieve six wings, and you have definitely forgotten who killed the only other angel who was close."

As the Unnamed spoke an invisible pressure forced the archangel on to the floor taking a knee much to Rapheal rage.

"Now about the young Lantern, that you want to know so much about. I don't know where he is, and what's funny about that is neither do you." The Unnamed then started laughing hysterically, pounding on the armchairs of his throne as he did.

"You can't be the boy you labeled a failure, truly you are arrogant to come all the way here and demand something that even you don't know!" The Unnamed said through his laughter but Rapheal obviously had enough.

"Tell us where he is!" He roared his holy power surrounding him, then the Unnamed stopped laughing.and when he stopped laughing, it felt like the entire realm stood still. He then stood up from his throne and slowly walked to the angel, and Rapheal could do nothing but watch as he was crushed by this feeling of fear.

As the Unnamed slowly walked to the angel he gave his final word on the matter Tyren Lantern.

"Tyren Lantern is as good as dead. Now I don't know why he would be missing or why he would disappear in the first place, but knowing the way of the heavens you probably dropped any interest in the boy once you saw his lack of talent."

And with that the unnamed withdrew his power and allowed Rapheal to escape and in a flash of light the angel was gone.

"You protected him?" Denali said confused, looking at their king. The Unnamed only stood there looking to the place Rapheal once was.

"Strengthen up security, I don't want any more rats in my realm." After he spoke, he too disappeared leaving the lich alone in the room.

Denali turned to the crystal displaying Dyre covered in spirit.

"Just what are you, child?" The once stone sage asked
