Erica gave an excited smile at my question.

"Some people from the Royal Academy of Arrendelle will come in a few weeks." She answered to which I couldn't help but ask confusedly "Why?" I couldn't wrap my head around why people from a place called Royal Academy would visit such a remote village.

"I dun know," Erica answered which confused me further.

"Then how do you know that information? Did Madam tell you?" I questioned again to which she shook her head.

"Then?"

"I only know that because I have been waiting for this day for five years!" Now she's talking completely bogus.

"You! You don't believe me! Just ask Blaze then, humph!" It seems my doubts were written all over my face, but to be seen through by a child… wait a minute why am I judging the kids by Earth's standards? The clear memories I received from the original Magnus was already a proof that five-year-old kids here are much more intelligent and mature here. Not to mention kids like Erica who is known for being studious and smart in the orphanage.

"Suppose I believe you, then what? You don't even know why they are coming."

"I know why they are coming!" Erica retorted causing me to arch an eyebrow.

"But earlier you said you didn't."

"I-I know they are coming to test us to see whether we have the potential to enter the Royal Academy. But I don't remember the test or its requirements."

"Is that so?"

"Yes! You can ask Blaze, he knows more than me. Now come with me to complete the Chores or we both won't be getting any food." Erica said and dragged me but I was too busy with my thoughts to notice that.

According to the memory of the original Magnus, Blaze is the newest edition of the orphanage despite being the oldest.

His family was recently massacred by some bandits leaving him the only survivor.

The poor kid probably has some PTSD from that incident since he doesn't talk with anyone and is always seen training, probably thinking of taking revenge on his family's killers.

But all these aside. Would he tell me if I asked him nicely, I doubt he would. The kid is antisocial, revenge-seeking, training maniac. I don't see him answering my question.

Agh! Forget it let's focus on these chores first, I'll let my future self handle the edgy kid since it's his problem, not mine.

*Snicker* I snickered at my own joke, causing the other children working to look at me weirdly. Dammit, why did I snicker at such a lame joke? Does my childlike body effecting my brain?

Ignoring the weird looks coming my way I started wiping the floor with the wet clothes. Wiping the floor wasn't an easy task, especially for someone who never wiped the floor before. Not to mention my small body and the clumsiness that came due unfamiliarity of my small limbs.

I still managed to complete the task before the dinner with the original Magus's memories. The kid was good with chores honestly.

.

Moving along with others to the kitchen, I wasn't looking forward to the dinner since I wouldn't be getting any.

"Sigh~" Sighing I entered the kitchen and saw it being occupied by sixteen children, ranging from age four to ten, standing in line for the food and the old hag distributing. With me and the other two kids beside me, that means the orphanage has a total of twenty-one children and one adult. Two of the kids not present are toddlers probably sleeping already.

Grabbing a bowl I joined the line only to leave when the old hag glared at me.

Sighing again I moved to the corner of the kitchen and started observing the children especially emo kid Blaze since he has the information I needed.

I see him quietly eating his food in another corner alone. The kid wasn't wasting time and was quickly devouring his food, probably in a hurry to return to his training before the other kids finished their food.

Thinking it was the best time to approach him, I walked towards him but was interrupted by someone tapping my shoulder. Turning my head slightly I saw Erica standing with a bowl of potato stew and a loaf of bread.

She split the bread in half and offered me. Kind child, but if she thought I would take a portion of food from a nine-year-old girl's plate then she's utterly wrong. The sigma male inside me won't allow it!

*GROWLLL!!!* My stomach rumbled loudly, the pang of hunger hit me again but stronger this time.

I-I thi-think I shouldn't refuse someone's kindness no matter their circumstances. My mother would be so disappointed in me for doing such a thing.

So to not disappoint my mother and refuse the kindness of this kind and beautiful girl I gracefully accepted the bread and started eating it after dipping it in the stew. Although I knew such a small piece won't get me anywhere since I could easily devour tens of such pieces, but strangely enough after finishing it I felt somewhat full then I remembered I had the body of a five-year-old.

A loaf or two would be enough to completely fill this body. I should probably get used to this body's standard lest I make some major blunder.

Shaking my head I thanked Erica and looked back towards Blaze, but the kid was gone. I quickly scanned the room and saw him exiting.

Thanking Erica again who gave me a knowing look, I ran after Blaze. I followed the emo kid to the back side of the orphanage where I saw him picking up a stick and swinging it like a sword.
