3:00 am June 24th, 2018
After a long day's shift, Doctor Kyobi finally clocked out of work for the day. He was greeted by several of the hospital's staff who congratulated him as he left the building. He got into his white Toyota which was new for its time.
As he buckled himself in he said cheerfully, "I almost forgot about you!"
He pulled out the skinned face from his pocket and sat it down on the nearby driver's seat. He then pulled out of the car park and onto the freeway. After a couple of minutes of driving, the car eventually reached the residential district of Heiwa City.
As he slowly parked into his home Kyobi noticed a man and woman walking down a street at night. The man appeared to be young, he wore an extravagant white shirt with a rose attached to his chest. The woman on the other seemed to be much older but even more beautiful. She had shortcut black hair and also wore a seductive red dress.
As Kyobi opened his window he could hear the conversation that they were having, while being careful enough that they wouldn't notice him.
The man said, "C'mon, just one night. I can pay you I promise!"
But the woman denied him while saying, "You look young. You are still in school aren't you?"
"Does it matter?? As long as you get the money, I can give you as much as you want. 100,000 yen?? 200,000 yen????"
Despite the odd conversation he was listening to Kyobi didn't care about any of what they were saying. He was completely focused on the woman, especially her face. Not only was it as seductive as her outfit but her red lipstick made her more attractive by 10 times. The mole she had under her eye amplified her attraction 100-fold.
As he began to drool from his mouth, he then turned around to look at the skinned face on his chair. He said softly, "Tenohirah-chan. I think it's time we break up. I really have enjoyed the time that we've spent together, but ever since the day that I found you 3 nights ago, you just haven't been the same."
He started to poke two of his fingers together as he continued, "I have found a new woman that I want to be with so I think it's time that you and me part ways here."
Suddenly the expression on his face turned serious as he grabbed the face from its seat. He rubbed his cheek on it one last time before saying, "Goodbye my love."
The skinned face suddenly began to crack as it turned into a small explosion. Even the ashes were erased as the face evaporated. He then got out of the car slamming the door behind him. Making it loud enough that the two could hear him.
The teenage boy could see Kyobi approach them aggressively first. He quickly got in front of the woman while saying, "What do you think you're doing? My father is a big shareholder in Takeda Pharmaceutical. If you don't back off right now I will find out who you are and ruin your life!"
Kyobi ignored his question as he said, "Do you believe in gravity?"
He then grabbed his arm while snapping it in the process making him groan from pain. Before he could scream though, the doctor quickly covered his mouth. The boy started to piss himself, from fear as the demon doctor towered over him.
Kyobi continued, "Gravity is the power of fate! In front of fate, social status doesn't matter. At the end of the day, it all comes down to who fate thinks should prevail. In this moment fate has chosen me!"
He then pushed the boy away, causing him to fall to the floor. Before he could hit the ground though, cracks and fissures formed around his body. He then suddenly combusted without making a single sound, leaving only his clothes behind. The woman seeing this couldn't even shout. She had been completely paralyzed by fear.
Kyobi grabbed her shaking hand as he said, "Fate on the other hand... Has chosen you to be with me."
He then raised his left hand, left hand and began to caress her face. He then asked gently, "What is your name woman?"
Seeing that this person had fallen for her she said, "Aoi? If you let me live I can give you a night that you won't regret."
He responded, "You're going to be with me for much longer than a single night. Fate has chosen us to be together for the rest of time. Your now my Aoi-chan"
Suddenly fissures began to appear over the woman's body and legs, which turned into small explosions enveloping her body. The only thing that remained from the explosion were her clothes which fell to the floor, and her face which Kyobi was still caressing. Even the eyes and hair were utterly destroyed leaving behind no trace of her apart from what Kyobi carried.
As he walked back to his home, he breathed a sigh of relief as no one had seen the events of what took place. He quickly retreated to his home.
Doctor Kyobis's home life was decent. On the days that he didn't force himself to work, he would go out and drink or cook. But on the days' where he would get himself a new girl he would immediately rush to his bedroom and spend the night with her.
But on this particular night, he was surprised to see a certain man waiting in there for him. He sat down comfortably on a wooden chair, in a bored-like position. He wore a white mask with a black teardrop painted onto his right eye. The outfit they wore was similar to an English butler. His voice sounded rough and forced.
He first said, "I bet you had some more fun, didn't you? But you're really quite lazy with cleaning things up. You keep leaving the clothes behind."
Kyobi quickly stuffed the face back into his pocket while saying, "I told you to stop coming into my house without warning me, Asclepius."
He breathed a sigh of disappointment as he said, "As long as you do as I say then I really couldn't care less. Anyhow did you kill Eiko Yamori and Antonio like I asked?"
He nodded in silence as he thought, "This guy, is so annoying. He thinks he's better than me just because he gave me this power! If I can touch him just once then maybe I could kill them. No, I will kill them!"
Asclepius suddenly stood up from his chair while looking out towards the open window, facing his back towards Kyobi. He then said, "You were able to fully adapt to that drug without losing your sanity completely unlike Ikumi. I was planning on having you dispose of him at some point, but it appears Weatherman is taking care of him for us. My time in this city is coming to it's end but you are useful so I'm allowing you to come join me and my organization."
"Organization? You never mentioned any of this before?", Kyobi shouted as he dashed towards him.
He managed to grab Asclepius's shoulder as he shouted, "GRAVITY HAS CHOSEN ME!"
But there was nothing, no explosion, not even any sign of damage. The unflinching butler grabbed his arm and then threw him into the wall without hesitation. Kyobi of course wasn't harmed but he was shocked at the turn of events.
"Why didn't he die??", he thought.
As the butler walked up to him he said, "As a human your personality is terrible. Even that habit of keeping your victims' faces is honestly disgusting. As an artificial psychic, however, you have some uses, but even then you don't engage in combat that often. You haven't even realised the weakness of your own trait. Ikumi was strong but his control over psychic power was abysmal. You on the other hand could use enhancement as if it were as easy as breathing! Which is why I will give you one last chance to redeem yourself. Destroy Heiwa Hospital, erase all previous traces of who you are and join me. Im not asking."
As Kyobi lay on the floor, he began to laugh all of a sudden. He then said, "It is already done. I made sure to turn all of Heiwa Hospital into a bomb the day I gained this power."
Meanwhile back with Shiro
Weatherman and Shiro took the bus back to Heiwa City Hospital as Weatherman was unable to use his power. Somehow Weatherman was able to afford the fare for both of them. As they drove Shiro peaked over the seat in front of him and saw a guy on his mobile phone watching the news.
"Today on Heiwa City News, we have come to alert you on something urgent. Heiwa Hospital has disappeared, and I mean vanished from the map. Witnesses who did see what happened described it as "A sudden burst of fire." However, others that were at the incident, didn't even hear the explosion. When they did turn around to see what happened the hospital had already disappeared. There wasn't even any rubble left behind at the scene. As for everyone in the hospital, well... They are presumed dead."
