The cathedral stands tall with spires that pierce the sky, Its facade adorned with intricate carvings reaching high. Stained glass windows, vibrant hues that softly glow, Recounting tales of faith from long ago. Flying buttresses and arches, a testament to skill and might, Within its hallowed halls, serenity and light. Unlike many of its counterparts, this one was special as it possessed an open court in which the funeral would take place.
As if to match the saddening atmosphere of the funeral, despite it being summer, it rained only slightly.
Going against that mood, however, was Shiro and Weatherman who wore matching black tuxedos with a white shirt that tightly fit them. Differently, though, Weathermen wore his black P.E.S armband and carried his umbrella which was strapped to his waist like a sword while Shiro had a yellow P.E.S armband.
"Why am I wearing this?," Shiro asked as he tugged on the armband, "I swear I said I wasn't joining."
Weatherman still looking ahead said, "The yellow armband means that you're currently working as an honourary member of P.E.S As long as you have it your status will be recognised and you will be temporarily given the perks that normal members will have. If you joined P.E.S then you would have a red armband."
"Then what does black mean?" Shiro asked again.
As he asked this Weatherman smirked as sparkling lights spawned around him. He then struck a flamboyant pose while saying confidently, "Im the vice leader of P.E.S! That makes me one of its strongest members. Pretty impressive right??"
Shiro smirked and giggled a little as he said, "So everyone in there must be weaker than me right?"
"Come here you brat," Weatherman said as he began to playfully pull his hair. While the two were arguing, the other public attendees surrounding them looked at them oddly.
Then another man dressed in the same suit yet lacking an arm band, approached the two. Weatherman immediately cleared his breath while standing straight.
"Those armbands tell me that you guys are the private security that Mr. Kageyama hired. Im the chief of security here, so that means you guys are under me. Can I have your names?", he said rudely.
Shiro thought "This guy clearly has a superiority complex." Before he could do something about it, Weatherman told him,
"You can just call me Weather, and my partner here is Shiro."
He shouted while grabbing onto Weathermans collar, "Weather??? Tell me your real name asshole."
Before he could even finish his sentence, he felt a sudden chill down his spine. It was as if he was staring into the eyes of a demon. He quickly let go as sweat began to trickle down his face.
Now with a completely switched personality, he said, "Why don't you guys follow me? I'll take you to Mr. Kageyama."
Weatherman smirked to himself as Shiro looked at him in awe.
Somewhere far in the distance, however, Doctor Kyobi still wearing his usual lab unbuttoned lab coat and Asclepius, who watched the two from a tall building. Asclepius asked him, "Do you see Weatherman? He'll be the biggest nuisance so I will trust you to distract him somehow."
"I already have that part covered. I managed to turn some of the people attending into explosive-type bombs without them noticing. Once they go off, you should be able to use the confusion to take him out quickly." Kyobi told him. "What concerns me though is what Shiro is doing with him."
"That white-haired boy? Since he was a natural-born psychic I decided to keep him alive. However, if he takes their side then you will be the one to kill him. You don't mind killing children, do you?"
A smile formed on Kyobis' face as he said, "I don't mind. Especially if it's someone I know personally. Fate is a funny thing really."
The chief of security guided the two through the massive maze that was the Cathedral. Taking through many twists and turns until he brought the two, to a single wooden closed door. He knocked twice while calling out his name and status until the voice of a man called him in.
As the group entered they saw a balding man who appeared to be in his early 40s sitting in a lavish chair while having a smoke. Next to him was a much younger male in his 20s adjusting his tie in front of a mirror. They both wore matching dark blue suits, while the younger wore rectangular glasses which hid his narrow eyes.
The older man waved his hand away, signifying the chief of security to leave. As he left the room the older man put out his cigarette and said, "So are you people the psychics from the S.N.A.D?"
Shiro jumped up in surprise as he asked, "How do you know about that?" Weatherman quickly shut him up as he told him, "Since we're dealing with potential psychics I had S.N.A.D let us protect him from up close. He made a vow of silence, so if he tells anyone about us he will die."
The older gentleman was Katou Kageyama and the person next to him was his eldest son Yatou Kageyama. Yatou seeing Shiro shouted, "You can't be serious right?? This kid looks even younger than me."
Shiro was a little agitated by what this person had said. He looked to Weatherman for guidance, and he simply said, "Show him your stuff."
As he nodded towards him Shiro quietly walked over the table that Yatou sat at. Then he picked it up with one arm and threw it into the wall, destroying it.
His mouth dropped to the ground as he thought, "This kid is strong?? They said psychics were powerful this guy could probably beat professional fighters."
Then pulling Shiros' attention, Weatherman told him, "I will guard Katou, and you will guard Yatou. If anything happens or you encounter the enemy then contact me with these."
He then handed an earbud-like device which Shiro kept in his right ear. Shiro began to jump up and down like a child as he said, "This is like those spy movies right??"
Weatherman acted a little confused as he thought, "How much TV does this guy watch?"

As the group of four walked down the corridor, they were on their way to the courtyard where Katou and Yatou would give their speech. As they left Yatou suddenly said,
"Im a little nervous. I need to go to the toilet to wash my face."
Katou turned around and complained to him, "There are 5 minutes left until the funeral begins, and now is when you get cold feet?"
Yatou scoffed at him before running off to his own ways, as Shiro followed him closely. Weatherman told him as they left, "Contact me if anything happens. If you meet an enemy, focus on escaping."
As Yatou and Shiro walked to the toilets, Yatou tried to start a short conversation, "You look around the same age as my little brother. Did you know him?"
Shiro responded, "I never went to school. I've had amnesia so I wasn't really able to. From what I hear he must have been a respectable guy."
"He always complained to me about this girl that he liked called Eiko. He said how she was always so gloomy in school and that he wanted to fix that but he never could. Then the other day back when he was still alive he talked about how she saw her smile for the first time. I told him congratulations but he said that it wasn't him that did it. He was a little upset, that she had found someone else that made her happy, so to make him feel better I gave him some money and told him to treat himself."
His facial expression slowly turned into that of malice and dread. "That same night, he died. It was my fault that he's dead, and my father still doesn't know it. I wonder can you tell me if I did the right thing?"
Shiro was a little stunned by what he had said, but even then he responded, "From what I can see you were a good big brother. I don't think Satou would blame you for what happened."
Yatou smiled to himself a little. As he muttered, "Thank you for that, I really needed it."
As the two approached the toilet, Shiro stood guard at the entrance for suspicious individuals while Yatou went inside. After some time passed, Shiro was surprised to see Kyobi approach him. As he drew closer he began to get a foreboding feeling, the same feeling that he got before Ikumi attacked him, and when he met Weatherman for the first time.
As he approached him, he raised his hand up while saying, "Long time no see Shiro? I thought you died, where have you been?"
He replied, "I could say the same thing to you. I've been staying with that guardian that you introduced me to on that faithful day. I'm currently working as a security guard for Mr. Yatou."
He then patted Shiro on the head while giving him a cheerful smile as he said, "You're doing really well for yourself. I can tell that you've gotten a little bigger as well. Hopefully, you'll get your memories back soon."
He walked into the bathroom shutting the door behind him, leaving Shiro to feel reassured of himself. A couple of minutes later though Shiro felt a large earthquake come from the courtyard, followed by a large wave of psychic power shaking the whole cathedral causing dust to fall from its old walls.
Shortly after he heard the voice of Weathermen from his right ear commanding him, "SHIRO! GET YATOU OUT OF HERE. IM CURRENTLY ENGAGED WITH THE ENEMY."
Without hesitation he quickly ran into the bathroom expecting to see Yatou and hopefully Kyobi still in there. If worse came to pass then he would have to guide Kyobi out as well. But to his dismay, he saw something utterly horrifying.
Kyobi held the barely breathing body of Yatou by the neck. Yatous' body was bruised and bleeding as if an entire mob had beaten him. As Kyobi was strangling him, he turned around while smiling, "They went off earlier than I planned. I guess my internal clock is a little off."
Shiro could only make a face of incredible disbelief as he thought, "Kyobi was a terrorist?? But why? He never acted like this before so why??"
Before he could ask him any questions, Kyobi threw the body of Yatou at Shiro with a single swing. Shiro was able to catch the near-dead man without injuring him, but then he said, "Im sorry Satou."
His face suddenly started to form cracks and fissures along with the rest of his body as he combusted and then explode quietly, clouding Shiro's vision.
When he tried to make sense of what was happening he felt a loose and silky object fall into his hands, followed by a heavy kick into his rib cage. Sending him crashing through the walls all the way onto the street outside.
As he stood back up he saw himself grabbing onto the blazer and shirt of Yatou that he had somehow left behind. While Shiro still tried to make sense of the situation Kyobi eventually peaked out of the hole that he had created.
He then asked Shiro as he made a smug-like expression, "So what do you think? Im pretty powerful for a knockoff psychic aren't I?"
