Weatherman hid behind his umbrella pathetically as waves of furniture and debris flew towards him. His umbrella which was reinforced by his psychic power was able to tank it all however he would eventually run out of psychic power, and die. There was no way for him to fight back so it seemed like his death was inevitable.
Understanding this he attempted to stall for time, "You guys at TALON... What do you plan on doing with psyche? I understand that it's a drug that lets humans use psychic powers, but it drives them insane. What's the point in creating psychics that only know how to kill? Are you making an army?"
The barrage of objects slowed down as Asclepius' interest peaked. He then said, "An army? no no NO! We desire EVOLUTION! The humans of today are far too weak. The world is on the brink of destruction because of conflicts caused by individuality. Spirits which are made from the grudges of long-dead humans are proof of that. You can kill as many as you like but they will exist as long as suffering is in this world. We plan on freeing humans from that suffering, and psyche is just the first step."
"By turning everyone into psychics? Conflicts will just get worse if you take that route. It would be like giving a toddler a nuclear weapon.", Weatherman said in defiance. "Psychic powers aren't the cure to suffering, they are curses that plague humanity."
Suddenly the barrage of attacks increased, causing Weathermans' umbrella to slowly start deforming. Asclepius then said, "Which is why transforming humanity will be the first step, and for that world to come, we need the S.N.A.D to disappear!"
As the flurry of attacks increased Weatherman could feel himself succumbing to fatigue. He then felt something disappear in the distance. A certain person just died.
"Shiros' psychic power just disappeared!? I thought he was strong enough to hold his own but my foolishness made me bring him into this. And I never got to tell him that Eiko went missing. It's' all my fault, dammit."
Weatherman then smirked as he realised, that all of the people had finally evacuated. He then closed his umbrella, while declaring, "I couldn't use this technique because of how destructive it is. But now that everyone's evacuated I can use my power to its full extent."
Several more objects and debris flew towards him, but as they reached him they were instantly torn apart and destroyed by an invisible force. Asclepius seeing this hesitated a little, but he advanced towards Weatherman regardless. As he did however, a strong gust of wind blew him off his feet and slammed him into the wall.
Weatherman then muttered, "Faticus Hurricane."
In the skies above the dark clouds began to swirl and converge atop the cathedral. As they did the sounds and echoes of thunder could be heard from them as sparks of lightning poked out from its inside. While the speed of the clouds increased, a hole began to form, which exposed the light of the warm sun fall atop the Cathedral. It was as if god was about to descend to earth.
This light didn't last much longer as suddenly a tornado the size of a football field collapsed onto the cathedral destroying it instantly. Any rubble nearby was sucked into it, before being thrown into the atmosphere.
As the wind finally died down, the area where the Cathedral once stood was empty, leaving behind only the beaten body of Asclepius lying on the floor, and Weatherman who stood over him.
Asclepius then said, "That power of yours truly is terrifying. Even with that gigantic attack, you were holding back quite a bit of your power weren't you?"
"Don't bother complimenting me," Weatherman commanded. "It's time for you to talk. Who is producing psyche and what kind of plan is involved with it?"
Asclepius only breathed heavily, as he said, "Eternal happiness... That's why I joined TALON. Everyone who joined that organization was seeking eternal happiness. Even Ikumi and Kyobi were only just people looking for happiness. In the world that TALON seeks to create, there will only be happiness."
Weatherman then shouted, "ANSWER MY QUESTION DAMMIT."
But before he could get another response, he felt a strange sensation pierce his chest. When he looked down he saw a blood-stained hand that had gone through his body. It then forcelly pulled out of him, before quickly pushing him aside.
Before he passed out from bloodless, he heard the name of Adam being mentioned. He then thought, "I couldn't sense him up until the last moment?? Whoever did must be as strong as the 3 goliaths."
As he bled to death on the floor, Asclepius then said, "How nice of you to turn up at the last second, Adam. Did you at least take out the runaway target?"
Adam sighed as he said, "Even though you're meant to be guiding me, I find myself cleaning up after you an awful lot. I had to kill that old man, as well as the other person who was protecting him. He kept getting in the way but I made it quick."
"What about the other target? Has Kyobi taken him out too?", Asclepius then asked.
Just as he said that, a man waving in the distance approached the two. It was the said Kyobi in question. As he reunited with his team, he lit a cigarette and began to smoke.
Adam then asked him, "You fought Shiro right? How was it?"
He sighed as he replied, "He was strong. Too strong infact. He had less psychic power than me but, he was physically my equal regardlessly. And even then, his psychic power never depleted unless I forced him to regenerate. If he got any stronger after today, he could proberbly take on even you Adam."
Adam laught at the response. Among the three, Adam was undoubtedly the strongest, so this statement made him excited.
He then looked to the skies as he said, "So he's decided to go by Shiro this time huh. I guess you finally got the death that you always wanted, J****"
"Did you know him from somewhere??", Kyobi asked.
Adam looked to him as he said, "Don't think about it too much."
Police sirens as well as fire engines could be heard in the distance, causing the group to panic a little. Hearing this, they quickly left the scene leaving behind decaying corpse of the Weatherman.
