Chapter 6 - Grown

Many years later...

A young boy who rested in bed, staring at the ceiling of his grandly furnished large room, suddenly stood to his feet with a smile on his face.

It was another day and he was absolutely ready to go to school—academy for the Blessed ones.

He had enrolled into an academy called Great Horizon Academy, under the guide and influence of his loving foster mother, Villaria, who wanted nothing but the best for him.

This boy, previously called Aeden by his real mother, was Glade—Glade Gelthorr Gaelvenmore. He had grown into a handsome young boy with outstanding physical features.

He had vibrant, dark crimson hair that looked silky in appearance and went past his shoulder—up to his lower back. But, just his hair alone was already a really astonishing part about him.

Every male in the world had black, blonde, white, burnt orange, and grey hair. But he had natural crimson hair, which made him seem different. It however added to his attractiveness and charm, as well as to the air of mystery that blew around him.

Standing over six feet tall—at the age of seventeen, he had a physique that most male would enviably admire, and if the opportunity to obtain it by competition or prize-fighting arose, they would simply kill to have it.

He had broad shoulders with striated, really full chest. It was many inches thick and looked really firm. As for his arms and legs, they looked incredibly strong. They seemed packed with tremendously dense muscles, up to the point they would invoke the absolute feeling in anyone that if one tried to engage in a match of arm or leg wrestling with him, their arms or legs would be crushed to pieces. He simply looked bewilderingly and fearsomely strong.

However, this wasn't genetic inheritance or anything like that. Though that played a functional role in how he would look, majority of his remarkable features came from the Blessings his mother—Evolrrhia, imbued him with before her tragic demise.

Like his tall, powerful body and impressive, muscular arms and legs, they were characteristics that could be easily attributed to the Blessing of Great-Legions-Overwhelming Titanic Strength that his mother called down upon him. But, only his mother knew this, while others could only sigh in deep amazement at his remarkable, strong-looking figure.

With bright and clear indigo eyes that sparkled like gems in the light of the sun, they radiated the unbreakable will and unwavering resolve to dominate all things in their path. They shone with great determination and the ardent, ever-blazing desire and immeasurable, skyrocketing intent to subdue and oppress all that will rise to either oppose or challenge him.

Then at the center of his forehead, was a really tiny black mark that was quite indiscernible. This was a scar left behind by the intensely radiative and multiple-phenomenon-evoking, pressure-exuding otherworldly knife that carried the powers of numerous Celestial Totems, which struck him and merged with his form.

After standing to his feet and entered the bathroom to take his shower, he came out looking fresh and invigorated. Then he dressed up in one of his best clothes and walked down a long flight of stairs to the large dining hall where they would eat.

Once Glade appeared, Thorrhia, who was already at the dining table in the dining hall, waved at Glade and said with a smile on her face, "Baby brother, come over here. Let's eat. Food is ready."

Glade nodded his head with a smile on his face and walked to where Thorrhia was seated.

Thorrhia had also grown too, into a beautiful and intelligent woman who was physically endowed—she was curvaceous and luscious.

When Glade was two months old, she was already sixteen. And now that Glade was seventeen, she was thirty three, becoming a fully-blossomed woman that exuded the grandeur of a rich business tycoon—as she already had her own massive business empire and possessed a really great sense for fashion, as well as eyes, smell, and taste for incredible, fabulous things.

So, with long, dark black hair, a perfect oval face, well-carved brows, full pink lips, and intense blue irises, she appeared to be really mesmerizing, which was why she had a lot of suitors who wanted her hand in marriage, hoping to have a family that would be as stunning and angelic as she was.

She had come to her parent's house—an incredibly vast mansion to stay with them for two weeks and play with her baby brother, Glade, who she loved so much and had missed, after being away for two months.

But before she came over, she had already gotten a lot of items for Glade who thanked her really well for them. Some of them included outfits, shoes, and other items that caused him to feel really good within himself.

Hugging her from behind as she was seated, he pulled out a seat just beside hers and sat, stretching his hand to take his meal served by maids.

"So Glade, how is school? I know you only enrolled last week, but how is it going? Hope lectures or whatever you guys do there aren't too demanding or taxing?" Thorrhia asked with a concerned expression on her face.

"Not at all, big sis. Though, we haven't really gone in. So, I can't say for now. But I don't mind. Even if we are required to carry the world on our shoulders for the next two years as a criteria to pass a course test or practical, I will gladly do it." Glade said with a determined look etched on his alluring facial features.

While Thorrhia who heard that, couldn't help but chuckle. She then looked at Glade and asked with a smile that seemed like a smirk on her face, "Are you that strong, to the point of being able to lift the entire world on your shoulders for a long time?"

Glade cackled. He then said, "I was only joking, big sis. I only said that to show my zeal and determination in doing and completing whatever will be asked of me. Though, I know I can't lift the world, which is an absolutely impossible task to fulfill. But I don't know why I can't help but feel that way, that I can lift the world."

Thorrhia looked at him once he said that and smiled. She then said, "Baby bro, I believe in you. When the time is right, you will be able to do so. Just keep your head up and always keep a strong, unwavering belief in yourself and your capabilities. Okay?"

"Okay, big sis." Glade said and nodded his head. Then they began to eat.

Once they were done, Glade stood to his feet, hugged his sister who embraced him in return and prepared to leave for school, fully anticipating what would be taught today at the academy.
