Chapter 10 - Fearlessly confessing his actions to the council (I)
"Yes, Your Great Majesty." The towering man with a powerful, domineering aura called Blessed Enforcer Kael, said with a serious, reverential look on his face.
Then he said further, "I will leave now to carry out your command."
Once he said so, the massive statue that had brightly glowing eyes and emitted fearsome ripples of power, immediately reduced to the size of a normal-sized statue. While its previously open eyes that emitted intense resplendent light immediately shut tight. As for the waves of tyrannical power that exuded from it, they stopped, causing the statue to return to being ordinary-looking.
Seeing that the Statue of Communication had returned to normal, he stood to his feet with a great ominous glow emitting from his eyes. Then he called over about five individuals to the large, dark hall that he was in.
Not quite long, the five people arrived with fearsome auras emitting from their powerful-looking bodies. They consisted of three males and two females who all looked ferocious and extremely dangerous in appearance. Especially the girls, they seemed like insane manic individuals that massively lusted after ground-dyeing, large blood spills, brightly colored crimson geysers, and large fountains composed of rusty red liquids that would forcefully gush out of the severed limbs or smoothly sliced necks and waists of targets. Their auras were simply suffocating and overwhelming.
Once they appeared before Enforcer Kael, one of them asked with a certain smile appearing on his face, "We have any killing to do?"
"No. Not yet. We were only tasked to investigate a certain phenomenon in a region called Aarthsia region. Once we are done with the investigation that could take years, we will await further instructions from our Hall Lord on whether to kill or not. But this is totally dependent on the direction of the investigation. If we investigate right and find what our Lord is looking for, he might order us to go ahead in murdering whoever is involved. But if not, we will return here with no relaxing and mind-soothing blood spill and flow caused by us." Enforcer Kael said while the others gathered around him nodded their heads.
"I hope it doesn't happen that way. Hahaha!" One of the two dangerous-looking girls said and laughed in a sinister manner, pleasurably looking forward to killing and committing immense blood spills. And, if the slaughtering and butchering would encompass entire devastated villages and towns, she wouldn't mind. She was just utterly evil that her name was Evil.
"Let's immediately set out." Kael said while the others nodded their heads, leaving the massive organization that consisted of ten thousand masked and black-clothed, well-trained exceptional warriors who possessed from four to six rare Blessings, and were imbued upon them by their Hall Lords—Ancients themselves.
So, this made their imbued Blessings thousands of times better than other people that might have the same Blessings as them. The rank of their Blessing was definitely in the Supernatural category.
Actually, in this world, Blessings could be ranked. They were as follows—in ascending order of greatness, fierceness, and potency; Low, Average, High, Peak, and Transcendent.
But, Transcendent could be divided into more ranks as well, which included Sublime, Supreme, Stupendous, Superior, and Sovereign.
It however didn't end there since Sovereign could still be broken into more ranks. These included, in ascending order of power; Evoker, Conqueror, Stellar, Paragon, and Luminary.
Then finally, Luminary could be broken into more ranks which included: Mono Universal, Dual Universal, Triple Universal, Hex Universal, Double Hex Universal, and ultimately, Limitless Universal Omega.
Only Ancients existed in the Luminary category. But, none could touch the rank starting from the Triple Universal realm and above. They were stages of power both untouchable and inaccessible by them.
As for the fearsome Crowns, Glories, Seats, and Dominions, they sat in anyone of the Sovereign-tiered ranks. While every other person, depending on their level or stage of Blessing—which was totally reliant on the person that imbued them with it, could stand anywhere from the Low stage to the Peak stage.
So, inferring from that, basically only Priests and Priestesses could give Blessings anywhere from the Low rank to the Peak rank. They couldn't touch the transcendent rank.
The only person that could touch this and even go up to the Sovereign-tiered rank was Evolrrhia, Glade's mother. It was this Blessing-imbuing ability of hers that made her too powerful and dreadful to be contended with by other Priests and Priestesses who seemed like ants or flies in her eyes.
None of them could rival her astonishing level of power. And she became so popular when she overpoweringly, disdainfully took care of Seats, Dominions, Glories and Crowns that accosted her, trying to force her to step down from her Priestess' role. She did that as a Priestess, unknowingly proving to the world that level of power meant nothing. This immensely angered every powerful entity from even different regions who then began to orchestrate all sorts of plans on taking her out.
She was simply breaking the fixed system they put in place and didn't want her there anymore. So, this could only make one to wonder what kind of Blessing her son, Aeden, was imbued with. But from all that had happened so far, one should be able to tell the level of Blessings that she had determinedly invoked upon her son.
As for the Enforcers, who were directly blessed by Ancients, one should be able to tell the level of the Blessings they would possess. And what was their role exactly? It was simply to enforce the rules of the Ancients. It was because of Evolrrhia—when she was still alive, that these dreadful, Blessed Enforcers were created. So, once anyone was showing sign of developing powers or attributes like Evolrrhia, or was seeming too outstanding and exceptional for their liking, they would immediately take the person out, slaying the individuals or groups in the most vicious manner possible. They were simply there to secretly cause endless carnage and havoc.
...
Glade, who had arrived before a large staff room that would have more than a thousand instructors preparing what to teach for the day to the large numbers of students assigned to them, confidently walked in with an 'I don't care whatever you say' expression hung on his delighted, smiling face.
He would simply, nonchalantly embrace any verdict declared or pronounced upon him. And, assuming he came to understand that there was a malicious rigging system in place that fully decided who to give Blessings or not, he might come to hate every Blessing-giving establishments or body!
