Chapter 8 - Mirror shatters
As Glade panicked within himself, but kept a cool and calm exterior that revealed nothing to anyone, the voices that he heard from far distances began to boom into his ears with a really loud intensity. Now, he could hear close to a thousand different sounds and voices that blasted into his ears like powerful sound instruments were targeted at his ears.
Feeling like he was going to go crazy with the loud booming sounds that ceaselessly rang into his ears, seemingly trying to disorient his senses, he immediately stood to his feet to go the restroom. However, before he could really do so, the large white board that was dozens of feet in front of him, suddenly grew to a tremendously great size in his vision. It had been mysteriously, greatly zoomed in upon by Glade's eyes—up to the point of clearly seeing the really tiny, indivisible particles that composed the board.
Once this happened, indicating to Glade that another Blessing called Great-Zoom Microscopic Vision had suddenly revealed himself to him, he could no longer keep his cool.
It was four now. If two more appeared and another one abruptly revealed itself to make it seven Blessings, wouldn't that mean instant destruction for him? He felt like crying and began to hope that it stopped at six. He dearly loved his mother, sister, dad, and brother so much that he couldn't imagine dying and leaving them behind.
Hurrying to the restroom as the noises continuously boomed into his ears at great intensities and amplitudes, he got there and began to breathe frantically, with an expression of great worry setting on his face. At the moment, he was drowning within in the sea of sadness and apprehension.
Looking at the mirror in the restroom to see his appearance, he suddenly noticed that he had turned entirely black in color. Then all over his dark-black body were shimmering, enigmatic tattoos that had pulsing and intensely luminous cube-shaped particles erupt from them. The tattoos seemed like outlets or exit points for seemingly otherworldly beaming particles.
His vibrant hair that was previously bright crimson in color, had become dark yellow and several inches longer. Beside, it had this subtle glow to it that if the light rays entering the restroom ceased, it would begin to emit a soft yellow glow that will illuminate the darkened surroundings.
Then on his forehead could be seen six eyes that were arranged in a hexagonal pattern. These eyes, which were totally different in form and seemed to belong to six different entities that had combined together, began to emit waves of fiendish, diabolical power, causing the large mirror that could serve thousands of people at once in the restroom to immediately shatter to countless bits.
Realizing what he had done, and just couldn't take it anymore due to the intensely loud sounds that seemingly maliciously boomed into his ears, Glade screamed, "Stop!!!"
Instantly, the deafening cacophony of sounds voices that entered his ears like flood composed of sound waves, immediately disappeared. Same with the strange form that his body had taken. It had quickly reverted back to normal. As for the unbounded zooming power of the eyes that suddenly revealed itself, it had also ceased, causing Glade to return to normal.
Once everything had stopped, Glade heavily exhaled and asked with a profound curious look setting on his face, "I can do that too? But what is wrong with me? Where are these Blessings coming from? I hope no higher power has noticed anything strange from me, or I would be forcefully taken away from my family. Ugh!"
Glade said that and became tremendously worried. Once he got home, he was absolutely going to tell his mother about it. He would recount everything that happened today in school to her, as well as the damage that he unwittingly caused.
Now, he was trying to generate good explanations on why he destroyed the academy's restroom mirror. If not, he would be severely punished and maybe expelled, since students who would intentionally damage or vandalize school property wouldn't be tolerated to keep moving around within the school's premises.
Thinking about this caused him great ache, such that he shook his head at his exceeding misfortune. But misfortune? Only if he knew why everything happened this way.
As he thought of what to say to the school authorities once he was called over to explain his actions, he could suddenly generate a thousand vivid scenarios all at once within his head, before being shown each of their results afterwards—severe punishment followed by expulsion and blacklisting by academies, since even the slightest damage done to their property by any student wouldn't be tolerated or accepted in any form. They would be punished and kicked off.
Seeing that expulsion was actually inevitable, no matter what he did, he broke down—physically, mentally and emotionally.
Was this how everything was going to end?
He thought of his mother and sister and wondered how it would make them feel. They wouldn't be happy, all all. He had ripped and destroyed their bright hopes for him.
As he drowned in his overwhelming worries and intense-sorrow-laden disquietude, his eyes suddenly shone once he realized something. He had actually used another Blessing, a type he couldn't really tell what it was. This had helped him instantaneously create thousands of hyper-detailed, lucid mental scenes and the ensuing results that have a really high chance—ninety percent chance of happening. Though, Glade couldn't tell if the results would happen as suggested to him, but he could strongly feel that way. This was another rare Blessing called Envisioned Multi-Faceted Reality Perception.
"Another one?! This is the sixth one. Nooo!" Glade said and began to pace about within the room, exceedingly worried. He knew that if another Blessing should reveal itself, then that was the end for him.
As he began to pace about in the room with the look of apprehension deeply carved on his alluringly handsome face, twisting it and made him seem rather ugly and hideous, Glade didn't know that his feet were no longer touching the ground. He was walking in the air, just an inch above the floor. But he didn't know.
After pacing about for sometime with tremendous worry emanating from his figure, he suddenly realized that he now seemed taller, because he could now look down on things that were previously taller than him.
With great fear immediately setting in his heart, hoping that it wasn't what he was thinking, he suddenly noticed that he was floating in the air, at a height of twelve inches above the tiled ground littered with countless glass shards.
"What?!!!" Glade shouted with his face painted all over with great horror. Then he began to pant heavily, struggling really hard to inhale. As for his heart, it was beating wildly and erratically, such that any further palpitation from it could cause him to go into fatal cardiac shock.
Understanding what was going to happen next, his saliva became really hard to swallow. Then he thought of his loving family and couldn't help but shake his head in intense and excessive gloom.
Sorrowfully closing his eyes after accepting his doomed fate, he patiently awaited the imminent, inevitable destruction about to wrathfully and viciously descend upon him from the far, mystical depth of the universe. But, he was an embodiment and a bearer of pure and absolute destruction himself. So...
