What happens when you find out that the reality you were living in was just a lie? The same thing is happening now in the States, courtesy of YouTube. All over the United States, the video sharing website is spreading the video like wildfire.
For the people who think the video is fake, I have left a special gift in the fork that will give them a rude awakening.
For now, there are no major movements from politicians; maybe the influence of Volturi runs that deep or they are mind-controlling humans and suppressing the news.
Anyway, I am in Alaska on my way to Denali Coven. As one of the only two vampire covens that is vegetarian and has a great relationship with the Cullens, they need to die.
Vegetarian vampires are weak; after my run-in with a lone vampire, I concluded this,and the Denali Coven will be an easy prey because of the lack of vampires with gifts, and the only offensive gift of "Psychic Electrokinesis" will be useless on me.
Act fast and take your enemies down before they gather to hunt you. I believe in this saying.
My "present" will keep Cullens and Volturi busy for some time.
In the middle of nowhere, I see a wooden cabin with smoke coming out of the chimney. A smirk creeps up on my face before becoming emotionless.
Living remotely with no contact from civilization, they are going to regret their reclusive lifestyle.
I creep forward with the shield so my scent is not diffusing in the air, and I pick up the scent of three vampires, which must be the legendary succubi trio. Their scent, like wild flowers filling my nostrils, and the other two members being a couple, are out together; that's good for me.
I see a beautiful girl with red hair stargazing. Just then I strike, and in a sleeper hold, I rip her head off before sinking my teeth into her skull, devouring her essence and strengthening myself in the process.
I feel myself getting stronger all over, my "still wave" getting qualitative improvement after killing four vampires. Even if I lack experience, my overall prowess without my gift is enough to take a few down without problems.
"Thud"
I turn around and am greeted by two girls crouching on the roof and looking over the headless body of their adoptive sister with a blank gaze. I give a chuckle before their attention shifts to me and their inner predator takes over. Their beautiful faces get distorted into something terrible, and then their lips curl over their teeth before they strike me purely on instinct.
I smirked before freezing them and ripping the head off Tanya's shoulder. Kate manages to escape and put some distance between us, but the shock of seeing her sisters die one after another was too much for her millennium-old brain. She lunges at me while growling, this time managing to remain rational and using her gift of "psychic electrokinesis.".
I act like I am in severe pain, thrashing and struggling. A triumphant smirk comes on her face before sorrow takes over. Right then, I strike, forcing my hand into her mouth before ripping her jaws apart.
"KACH"
A melodious sound of crystals shattering echoes as her head drops on snow, pure horror and confusion on her visage.
I quickly devoured both their essences before setting off for the last two members of Coven, "Eleazer and Carmen.".
Eleazer was in the Volturi forces at some point, so we need to be careful of him. As for Carmen, she was just an extra without anything remarkable other than being vegetarian.
I soon spotted a cave, from which muffled moaning sounds were coming. A knowing smile graces my handsome face. Using my shield to cover my scent, I blend in with the darkness and approach the duo.
I see a brown-haired girl pushing against a guy, the guy grunting and driving forward like no tomorrow. They might bring the whole cave down. I chuckle, alarming the duo to disengage before sending an electrokinetic wave towards the girl's head.
"POOF"
There are no special effects; her head disappears, and she drops dead. He kneels next to her corpse. I don't disturb him, giving him the time to mourn.
"Why?" he asks in a hoarse voice.
I just kept quiet.
He lifts his head to stare at me, and all of a sudden his expression contorts into extreme horror, like he had seen a ghost. Before he starts thrashing, pulling out his eyes, hair, and crystal-like skin, the madness continues as I take a step back in surprise.
Honestly, I was expecting something, but definitely not this. His gift "talent identifier" can infer what gifts someone has, but this time he tried to identify the incomprehensible.
Shouting continues for a short while before his entire body disintegrates and disappears.
But this time I fail to take his essence; it entirely disappears along with his body, like he has broken a rule, and as a punishment, he will cease to exist.
What a bummer! I should have just taken his gift.
I punch the cave, and it collapses on me.
"Boom"
"Thud"
"Woosh"
All the rocks get blown away, revealing me, hovering in the air, my shield no longer intangible but a solid and visible structure, electricity sparkling outwards from my shield.
Air and space get distorted around me; my entire being represents power; each movement of mine is capable of causing natural disasters.
I conclude that I have the physical capabilities of ten vampires combined. Now I can finally implement more plans without worrying.
I slowly descend before disappearing in a sprint.
