Aileen was quite stunned when she saw Guin and Jerome leave, leaving her alone with the Alpha King. She never expected her sister, who hated werewolves and vampires to the core, would willingly accept Jerome's invitation to walk together. Either Guin had a hidden purpose, or she was too afraid to refuse. Aileen bet on the former since she knew Guin would never cower before the Alpha.
