That morning, Jerome took Guin along the beach, which was in the opposite direction from where Lionel had expressed his intentions toward Aileen. Throughout the journey, neither of them spoke. Guin was still racking her brain to find a way to go with Jerome to the Beast World, but she still hadn't found it.
"Are you still avoiding me?"
There was a slight feeling of relief hearing Jerome start the conversation first. "So you know that I'm avoiding you?" Well, only a fool wouldn't notice since Guin did it so openly.
"I'll go to the Beast World if you still want to avoid me."
'Go ahead,' Guin wanted to say. The problem was she also wished to go to the Beast World!
If Guin knew that Jerome deliberately approached her because he was sure that Guin wanted to go to the Beast World, she would definitely be even more frustrated.
"What are you going there for?" Guin knew the man's purpose in going to the Beast World but still acted oblivious.
