The couple lay still for a few minutes, enjoying the warmth their partner offered by embracing each other.

Aileen withdrew from Lionel's warm embrace even though she felt reluctant. She heaved a relieved sigh when Lionel loosened his embrace and let her shift away. Nevertheless, one of his hands was still wrapped around the girl's waist and wouldn't let go.
After calming down for a while, Aileen's common sense returned, and she realized she wouldn't be able to escape heartbreak if she continued to let Lionel break into her heart.
