Aaron found himself in that dark space again, surrounded by the aspects; even now, they weren't planning to show themselves… or maybe they looked like that, like a massive junction of blue worms in the shape of lines.
"Hey, I accepted the job, but I have some conditions," Aaron said. "I need to check Earth periodically."
"That will be up to you. We can't affect the material world that often and this intensely. Before you can return to Earth, you will have to complete ten missions. That will confirm to us that you are the right person for the job."
"Ten… I suppose you don't want me taking years to complete a single one, huh," Aaron furrowed his eyebrows. "Still, how can someone destroy all the beings of a world if that is necessary in less than a year?"
"That will be up to you; soon, you will understand the potential of your trait. We can't talk with you often either, so you will have to find the solutions by yourself, do the investigations by yourself, and clean the messes by yourself."
"You guys are such slave drivers…" Aaron said and then sighed.
"You will be teleported to the world of the first mission. Once you complete the mission, return to the starting point and then wait for the vehicle that you will use."
"I will sure be waiting for a sick spaceship, then," Aaron said.
The aspects didn't answer to that, they just teleported Aaron to his destination. Aaron found himself in a massive outdoor area filled with lush vegetation, towering trees, vibrant flowers, and sparkling streams.
As Aaron looked around in surprise, he was greeted by a serene and peaceful atmosphere. The soft sound of chirping birds and the gentle rustling of leaves create a soothing ambient. The air was infused with a delicate fragrance from the blooming flowers, enhancing the experience.
The place seemed like home to a variety of mystical creatures and fantastical beings, adding an element of wonder to the environment. Aaron wondered if he would find nonsensical creatures like fairies and unicorns… the place sure looked like it would house them.
"This is a world about to end?" Aaron frowned.

"Thief? Bitch, please. I am a scientist," Aaron furrowed his eyebrows. "In any case, it seems that things will work in a manner with classes… Omni Absorption should be my trait… I can't see any explanation for this."
Omni means all or of all things… Aaron assumed that he was able to absorb all things… that wasn't true. Maybe it was only about knowledge and battle experience. Now that he thought about it, he learned basketball and became good at it pretty soon. Maybe that was the reason.
Aaron looked around and saw some weird creatures in front of a grove. They seemed like monsters, but not exactly terrifying ones. The creatures had horns at the top of their faces, and they had big, round, dark eyes. They were half of the size of humans, and they didn't have legs or arms, but they could jump pretty far away… they were also red. They seemed to be living in peace, so Aaron didn't want to kill them. Could he even kill them without a weapon?
"There are no signs of cities around… but there should be a road nearby," Aaron thought. "After finding a city, I should look for a way to gather Intel and then check how this world is in danger. Then…"
Aaron recalled his mission, to access the situation and stop the world from reaching the path toward destruction and, if necessary, kill everyone involved. If that isn't enough, all living things in that world would have to die.
In one way or the other, Aaron would have the chance to send mana to Earth to delay its end, and when he thought of that, he let out a sigh and then opened his backpack. Aside from clothes, a bottle of water, and a flashlight, Aaron also put a special knife inside of it, one that he kept with himself in case of emergency. He knew a bit of self-defense, but he knew better than those who might be a risk to his life wouldn't try to punch him to death…they would stab or shoot him. That was why the knife was a bit special…
"Sorry, I will carry the weight of your life with me, but I can't hesitate when the future of Earth and hers are at risk," Aaron said and then approached the first creature.
The little monster saw Aaron as well and began to jump toward him. The creature looked a bit pissed since Aaron invaded its territory and soon tried to jump and stab him in the stomach with its horn. However, Aaron pointed the knife at it and pushed a button in the middle of its handle. The blade flew toward the eye of the monster and pierced it.
