Chapter 13 - Stranger or lover?

After a long time of waiting for Aurora to get back, Lucas starts getting a bad feeling about his current situation with her. If she was in danger, he had no idea. There was only one way to find out.

He stood up and went down to the Ladies' room. He opened it up and no one was there, just the sound of Aurora wimping. I opened the doors till I got to her. She was on the wall, her clothes torn and her body pale and red.

She was in tears as she hugged the wall as if something had held her down to the wall. "Aurora," he said and went to get her. He tried to pull her away from the way but she was too stiff, even for his strength.

"What the fuck!" He went closer and tried to see what was wrong with her then he saw the warwarm crawl in her body. He hadn't seen the worm in two hundred years. It used to be his pet and he used it to torment his prisoners.

"What are you doing here?" He said out loud and reached out to caress her back. He needed to do so to ease the tensions and make the warwarm step out of her body.

As he caressed her back, she felt a lot better and at ease. It was too good, a moan escaped her mouth and Lucas smiled. She hadn't planned for that to happen. Very gently, the warwarm came out of her back and entered Lucas's body.

He smoothened her back afterwards and felt the scars on her back. "What is this? Where is it?" He asked. She was dazed and confused. "Where is what?" She asked.

He got closer and searched her back. He saw the faint lines of scars on her back, the scars she had when he took her to Crescent Hollow.

Her eyes lit up and she looked at him as if she just solved a puzzle. "How do you know I have a scar there? How do you know something used to be on my back and how can you see it?" She was defensive and firm with her words. She had been looking for some answers and Lucas might just be the solution.

He knew too much and helped her too much without knowing her. She has been curious, thinking she was running mad. He left her and frowned his face.

"Why won't you tell me? Huh? Your voice, your name, your face, your smell…they all feel familiar and I just can't place it. I keep having dreams…blurry dreams that I can't place. I don't know what is real or fake anymore. I'm losing my fucking mind."

She left the wall and walked out of the toilet as Lucas stepped out too. Her face was strong with purpose. "Please tell me. What happened to me? Did I have an accident and forget some things? Some things like I used to do like love you?"

That caught him off-guard. "I keep having these intense feelings for you and I don't know why. You look like a lover from my past, a stranger I used to be very intimate with. Perhaps that is why you helped me. That's why you just showed up suddenly to get closer to me." She grabbed his shirt. "Say something goddammit!!!"

He sighed, held her waist and drew her in for a kiss. A tear fell from her eyes as he just proved her right. He used to love her and she used to love him. She could feel it from her bones and she was glad he came out to let her know.

She swung her arms around him and kissed him. Her tongue mated with his in a swift aroma of romance. It was more than they could imagine and Aurora just figured it all out. Mike was her past, she was never going back to him, never.

Lucas broke the kiss and looked at her. "Was that convincing enough?" He asked and rubbed Aurora's bare back. He stepped back and looked at her, she was not looking so good. Her suit was ruined and she didn't know how she did that.

"I know I need a new dress but I can manage to get out of here this way. We should talk." It was as if confidence had taken over her and she no longer thinks of him as her boss. He took off his jacket and covered her with it. "I'll take you home."

He did take her home. A big mansion that was fit to accommodate two hundred people. She has never seen any house like this, she never had the chance to. She was met by maids who took her to a room and freshened her up.

When she was done, she went to meet him in a different room where he sat with a bottle of wine and a glass cup.

The room was dark, only lit up by a few candles. There were old frames on the wall and an incense cup on the table. It was lavender fragrant. He had a way of looking so old-fashioned and it goes well with him.

She was dressed in a robe which made her look like Hercules' mother. She sat in front of him and enjoyed his hot view. Even in the dark, he looked so hot and handsome. His eyes were the most interesting part of him to her, they felt like real gold.

"Why are you looking at me that way?" He asked without looking at her and just stared at his cup. He swirled it and drank.

"I was wondering why you were so sad and in your thoughts." He smirked. "I am always in your thoughts, not mine. I know what you think before you think them." He stood up and went to the balcony. The cool breeze of the night blew the whole silk that adorned the doorway.

Behind the house was an ocean she didn't know of. She sighed and relaxed on the railings. "I love it here. I want to be with you forever. Should we make that happen?" She said to him with a smile.

He looked into her eyes the down to her lips. "This is happening so fast. If you want to be with me forever, you would need to have kids for me." He looked over to his bed. "What do you think?"

She bit her lower lip which made him smile, she had barely seen him smile before. He swept her off her feet and took her down to the bed. "Let's have kids then."
