Aurora.
Driven by my vast intent to find out what happened last night, I ran home like I was being chased. Mom had gone to work, perfect timing. I dashed out through the back door and ran deep into the forest. I have marked the trees with red paint, making it easier for me to locate him.
I held my old book firm on my body as I ran along the woods. Getting to the right spot, I stopped and gasped for air. The air in the forest today was unusual. It used to be cold around here but today seems different.
"Lucas!" I screamed. I heard my voice travel a long distance in echoes and some birds flew away from afar. I didn't know I sounded that loud. "Lucas," I called out mildly but there was no reply. I looked around. I could feel that I was being watched but…Lucas wouldn't stalk me like that. Besides, what am I thinking?
I sighed and sat down. I rested on the bark of a big lonely tree and started sketching on my pad. Sooner or later, he would find me and we would have that talk. I hope he has the answers that I am looking for. Answers like; I was too pretty for him and he just couldn't resist me so he broke into the house through my window, hid in the shadows and that's where the whole drama started.
It's the only explanation I could think of and it's the only logical one. He's probably a professional thief from the woods.
I checked my clock, he should be here now. A branch snapped and I froze. Lucas did the same thing the first time. I rolled my eyes. "You can't use the same trick on me twice Lucas. What took you so long?"
After a while, I looked around. There was no one around and the atmosphere started feeling eer. I stood up slowly. Perhaps I should go back…wait for him to break into my house again and we would talk. That's a better and more reasonable plan.
I took a step forward and something fast ran across me. I took a step back and looked around. "Who is there?" I said and started walking away. Then another thing ran past me. It was too fast to be seen, it could only be felt.
In a panic, I put my bag in my arms and tried to run but I stumbled on something and fell. My heart pounded, this might be my last day on earth. The woman was right, I probably attract dark forces.
Laughter filled the forest as some men emerged from the shadows of the tree. Big, huge like bears and they had very funny costumes. I tried to sit up and look at them. "Have you fellas lost your way?" I asked gently.
They didn't look nice and I knew being clever was a very wrong idea. I was surrounded. Lucas…where are you? I…I'm scared…
The first man chuckled. "I bet she is tasty." Others laughed and they walked closer. I stood up and made a sudden move but got knocked down to the ground.
Lucas
I was assembling the cubs for their assignments when I felt a very sharp pain in my head. A lady…someone I knew was in danger. I closed my eyes, it was the human. Five men…no, not men!
I shot my eyes open. "Fucking wolves!" I left immediately, closed my eyes and opened them in the forest. But something was wrong, I have never teleported to the wrong places. I saw where I was going and where I was was just a space in the forest.
I ran as fast as I could and followed her scent. When I got there, I found Aurora on the ground, naked. One of the wolves was buckling up his pants and one was taking them off.
I smirked. "Look what we have here!" They froze and looked at me. For a moment, they all stood there, confused, wondering why I would stop them from whatever they were doing.
"That is my girl you have over there, bring her to me," I demanded and they cracked up. "You smell of human blood, do you want to be torn into shreds of meat?"
"Alphonso!" I called out in a more powerful voice. He raised a brow and wondered how I got to know his name. "You must have heard of me, perhaps your park made it a myth. No one sees me and lives let alone defies me and sleeps with my woman."
Seeing her lie naked and almost lifeless got my veins popping. A sinister smile forced its way out of my lips. I grabbed the big guy by his neck and raised him high. One of my eyes flashed lightning, others tried to escape but…too late.
I strangled them with my eye movement connecting lightning bolts from my eyes to their necks making them choke and electrocuted at the same time. They choked in pain but it was not enough to feed my hunger for their lives.
Then I grabbed Alphonso's dick, cut it off with a claw and forced it into his mouth. I loved seeing his black blood flow from his pants, he would love to learn from his mistake.
I threw him against a tree, and the rest, I burnt down on the spot. "Go back to your pack. If you make it, tell your Alpha that, Lucas the Alpha has done this to you. State your crimes for I would be watching the words of your mouth. Just a little lie and your dick would come lurking around your throat without getting off. It would rot in your mouth and you would never be able to speak, eat or do anything again with your mouth. The next time I see you, I'll make sure you beg for death!"
I carried Aurora gently and teleported back to my room at Crescent Hollow. I laid her on the bed and covered her with something warm. They had scared her body, those damn wolves!
"Lucky!" my sister's voice called out down the hall. "I told you to stop calling me that! Lucas is fine," I said as I teleported to meet her in front of my room.
"I hear humans call their dogs Lucky because they feel lucky. Since you are a big dog, I thought I might want to give you the honour."
"There is a woman in my room. Take care of her and do not let her outside my room. I'll be gone for a while."
"But—"
"Save it." And with that, I left.
