Shit! It's fast!
I couldn't see it, but instead of blocking the incoming attack. I have no choice but to evade it instead as I'm sure that one hit and it would be all over for me.
So without hesitating, I evaded the incoming attack at the last minute.
But unlike me, the demon was able to predict my movement as the next thing I knew, I felt an intense pain in my back. The demon had managed to hit me with his sword and it seems like it got a critical hit as well.
F-Fuck! This hurts a lot!
I knew that the demon was stronger than me but I didn't expect it to be this strong as just one attack can inflict this much damage onto me.
My HP is now down to 60 which is dangerous, since if I got hit a few more times I will die for sure.
However, the demon doesn't give me any time to rest as the next thing I know. But sadly the demon doesn't know that I still have the advantage in this fight.
*Beep*
With that in mind, I tried my best to dodge the incoming attacks as they were too fast for me to keep up. But with the change of my stats and putting more points in my agility. I was able to evade every attack that was coming for me.
But things weren't looking good for me as one hit and it would be over for me. So I did my best to prevent that from happening while looking for any opening as well. I did see how many HP the demon has and it's not a surprise that number is a thousand.
"Helmy displays the demon HP," I said while evading all of the attacks at the same time.
And just like that Helmy displays all of the information right in front of me.

And right after that, it tries to strike me once again. But I managed to evade the attack and begin to counter-attack. And I managed to land a headbutt right at its chest which caused the demon to kneel.
"This can't be..." The demon then said while coughing up blood and it even dropped its sword right away.
The demon seems like it doesn't expect this to happen as I bet this is the first time someone can harm it like this.
And looking at the HP bar now, it has dropped from 1061 down to 911 right away which is 150 points of damage.
This means that the demon HP is now at half and if things went south then I could end this fight in just a few seconds. Thus I continue to headbutt the demon over and over again while I'm still able to do that.
So right away, I immediately rushed toward the demon and headbutted him as hard as I could. And fortunately, the demon didn't make any movement at all as it was too focused on the pain.
This gave me an advantage as I managed to land a few headbutts right at its head and the demon's HP soon was reduced to 461.
The demon didn't even put up a fight and it just kept kneeling from the pain. Which made me wonder if the demon was even a tough enemy after all. It does possess such a huge amount of HP and magic but seeing how things are now...
But that's when something happened out of nowhere and a force began to blast me away. And just like that, the demon stands up again right away as if all of that didn't even bother it at all.
And it seems like the demon has gotten a lot bulkier and gotten back its energy right away as it immediately rushes towards me and prepares for an attack. This is bad…
Seeing how things are now, I don't even stand a chance against the demon anymore. But things would have been different if I had more time to deal the final blow to the demon.
So without a doubt, I prepared for my defense right away as I couldn't let the demon land a single hit onto me.
Because I knew one single hit would end my life. So I need to be ready for anything that demon is about to do.
However, the demon is on a whole other level the moment it reaches me. The next thing I knew the demon appeared behind me in a flash and ready to deliver a final blow.
I didn't have enough time to evade the incoming attack nor have any countermeasures. And that when I realize I am going to die, there's no way for me to survive this one. Even if I put all of my stats into agility, it still wouldn't be enough to evade that attack.
To think that I am dumb enough to believe I could win against a demon. Even if I have an artifact, with my current skill and level, I'm sure the demon could kill me right away.
Why did I even think about defeating the demon in the first place? All because I have a new artifact and I survived the dungeon. I then had a foolish belief that I could do anything in this world. But it seems like I was wrong after all.
Well, there's nothing else that I could do and it's just a matter of time before I get killed.
'I guess this is the end'
The demon is now right in front of me and about to strike me with its sword. So all I did was close my eyes and accept the defeat and death.
I then waited for the impact to come but it never did. Instead, the demon suddenly screams in pain as a sword pierces through its head and ends its life once and for all.
"What just happened?" I said while opening my eyes and saw the demon falling right in front of me.
But it wasn't me who was responsible for the sudden turn of events, rather it was an adventurer from before who did that.
Because when I look at the direction of the sword being thrown from, it came from that adventurer.
