To say it made sense, really it makes sense. As someone who has served the nobles before as a soldier, I'm quite accustomed to nobles and their manner. Even I have some knowledge of them as well.
"I see now. Irina must be confident about my manner and etiquette then," I told the guild master in return.
"So will you do it?" The guild master then asked me immediately.
I want to know why Irina would like me as her partner still. But I should ask her in person if I can.
"Sure. I'll do it," I then told the guild master with an answer to his request.
"Thanks, Edvin. The quest will start tomorrow at noon. Make sure you and Irina have everything ready." the guild master then tells me everything about the quest that I and Irina will be taking part in.
"Yes, guild master," I replied right away.
He then proceeded to grab a sheet of paper on the desk and give it to me right away.
"Here take this quest paper, the quest location, and the place you and Irina should meet, all have been written there. Oh yeah, make sure to prepare yourself properly Edvin. Because even though it is just a quest, it is still a dangerous one as well." he then proceeds to warn me about the quest itself.
I take a look at the paper and read the quest that I will be taking part in. It's a quest that I was expecting, about subduing the bandits and bringing the corrupt noble in.
"Guild master, may I ask something?" I then told the guild master after I was done looking at the paper in my hand.
"Sure," he then replied right away.
"I think you are quite right about Irina asking me as a partner but I think there is still another reason why she wanted me to be her partner, is that correct guild master?" I then told him right away.
He then simply smiled after I said it though. It's quite suspicious and weird.
"Well, it's a secret, Edvin." the guild master then tells me, saying that he wouldn't tell me.
"Yeah, that's what I thought," I replied right away.
Maybe he knows but does not want to tell me. Or maybe Irina hasn't even told him what her real reason was. But, that would be weird though, since the guild master is someone Irina trusts after all.

"Good luck on your quest. I wish both you and Irina for the best." he then says to me good luck with a smile on his face.
"Thanks, guild master." I then said my goodbye to him as I got up and proceeded to leave the guild building.
After I left the guild building, I walked towards the inn that I was staying at and entered right away.
As soon as I entered the inn, I could see the person that I was thinking about was at the inn already. It's none other than Irina herself.
She looks at me and waves at me with a smile on her face. It seemed like she already anticipated me to be coming to the inn first and was waiting for me.
I then walked towards her table and sat right in front of her.
And I feel that the reason why she's here in the first place was to discuss the quest detail, or more specifically, about the real reason why she wanted me as a partner.
And in her eyes, I can tell that she is quite confident and determined as well to ask me as a partner in the first place.
It was quite a weird feeling but somehow I want to know the answer to this as well.
"Irina, I have a few questions." I then tell her right away as I am quite curious myself.
"I know, you are curious about why I chose you as my partner in the first place. Am I correct?" she then replied right away, while her eyes were staring at me, straight towards mine.
I nodded my head once and replied right away, "Yes, you're correct."
She then smiled at me again and told me immediately, "Because you're the perfect candidate for the job."
"The perfect candidate? What do you mean?" I then replied right away in confusion.
"To infiltrate the nobles and get some information from them," she then told me immediately, right after I replied to her.
I guess I am the one who overthink too much as that's what Irina wanted me for the most. And it would make sense that the guild master knew nothing about this as well.
I mean it's obvious already and yet I ask again anyway, "Is that the only reason?"
"Of course, Edvin," She then replied right away.
"Fair enough. So about the quest, we will be doing tomorrow, do you have a plan ready?" I then asked her immediately about the quest itself.
With that, Irina begins to explain the plan.
***
I then took a deep breath and looked straight into Irina's eyes.
"Are you sure this is a good plan?" I then asked Irina right away.
She is talking about the plan that we should go with tomorrow and I'm not so sure about this plan that she had in mind.
"Yes, it is a good plan as our main objective here is to find more solid proof about the nobles having a connection with the bandit gang," She then told me the reason for the plan itself right away.
It was indeed a solid plan that she had in mind but the problem is, it might be risky as well.
Because for me to sneak into a noble's mansion is quite dangerous. They could just execute me as a thief or something like that if I was caught. And pretend to be one of their servants.
It's quite risky as the servants there might notice that I am someone new, an unfamiliar new face and it would put our plan in jeopardy.
I know that Irina can say that I can change my appearance a little bit and disguise myself as a servant, but a good servant would remember the faces of all of the servants and surely can see through my disguise eventually.
So Irina's plan is a risky one.
"It is quite risky Irina. And what if they can see through my disguise? The servants would surely notice a new face among them."
