"I see it now!" Dennis yelled out over the motor of the boat. "Triton is starting its eclipse of the sun, so it'll be dark soon, so we made it back in time. It looks like the lighthouse has already been lit."
Evelyn peered over the side of the ship to see Gabuslma arise over in the distance. "That wicked place," she thought. She looked to the sky to see the moon; Triton was indeed eclipsing the sun. The moon's pink hue was turning the sky a radiant tone of blue and pink and the clouds were turning a dark purple. Once it was eclipses completely, the sky will be like night, but a dark blue sky with a bright lavender ring around the eclipse for a whole week.
Once they reached the port with all the large pirate ships docked, they rolled up to an space small enough for their boat with three familiar faces waiting for them that Evelyn knew too well. She has caused hell for them all her life since the age of six. Head General Roxanne and her two trusted general's General Felicity and General Gabi.
"I see, so it is true. You did find her," Roxanne says with her hands on her waist. She was about five foot 10 inches tall and hard dark skin and long black hair. "And here I thought Hell had disappeared from my life."
As the fair skinned girls blonde six-foot Felicity and five and a half feet tall brunette Gabi were escorting Evelyn off the boat, Evelyn said, "Sorry to disappoint. Wench."
"I really hope those councilwomen condemn you to death, you know that." She says following her generals.
"Well I'm back, so your happiness is not guaranteed," Evelyn smiles back.
They begin to pass a specific ship and she hears her name being quietly whispered, "Evelyn?"
As Evelyn is being dragged, she peers over the see the tall man with a huge grin standing on the edge of a ship. Captain Goob was staring at Evelyn being dragged with what looked like tears of happiness in his eyes. But the look all she couldn't exchange with him was a cry for help.
The doors open to the great dark hall of the Councilwomen court of Gabuslma. Evelyn hasn't let up to attempt to walk. They walk through the main doors and drop Evelyn in the center of the room. Roxanne stands in front of her. "Council. I have brought a treat for you today. This is-"
"Evelyn?" She quickly looks up to see all the councilwomen in their seats of power but the one on the end standing up was the one who cared for her most. Councilwoman Fawn. He had fair skin, flawless features and long white hair she kept in a ponytail. She was the youngest one on the council of 29 and had been on the council since she was appointed at 19. All the other councilwomen are much older.
"Ah," The one in the middle says. "So, you're back?"
"Councilwoman Deedee," Roxanne addressed her, "Technician Jackson and his team found her at the summit of the Volcano they left today to investigate."
"The one that spang up out of nowhere?" She asked.
"Yes, ma'am," Roxanne replied.
The councilwoman on the left named Brandia raises her hand to interject, "I'm sorry but am I the only one wondering out Evelyn here ended up at the summit of a brand-new Volcano on an island that didn't exist until three days ago? It's not that far from Gabuslma and we have been searching for her for six damn months."
They all look at Evelyn and Councilwomen Deedee says, "Councilwoman Brandia brings up a good point. How did that come to be?"
Evelyn looks at all of them starting at her now. She sighs and then looks up at them and replies, "Magic," mockingly with twiddling her fingers.
"Oh you son of-"
"Not so fast First General Roxanne," Councilwomen Deedee calls out to stop the women from striking Evelyn for her jesting. "I understand your frustration but since she's now here we need to pass judgement unto her." She turns to Fawn and says, "I'm sure you have an objection to certain rulings since you cared for her. So I don't overstep your immediate objection, how about you choose the punishment."
"Just- Just stick her in the kitchen," Fawn says.
The councilwoman between Brandia and Deedee named Hora speaks up, "That's not a punishment. That's where she was before she escaped."
"I can accept your suggestion Councilwoman Fawn," Deedee said and before all the other women could speak, she added, "But we sill put some conditions in place as punishment." She looks at Evelyn and says, "So you will return to work in the kitchen but to eat yourself, you will only get two meals a week. That is not all day, just one meal of either breakfast, lunch or dinner, twice a week."
Evelyn could see Fawn in shock and then looked at Councilwomen Deedee and said, "So instead of killing me right away you're going to kill me slowly?"
"You still get two meals a week," the Councilwoman between Deedee and Fawn named Debra said. "They'll keep you alive."
"But working in the kitchen day-in and day-out will be torture," Brandia said.
"Go to Hell," Evelyn lashed out.
"That is all," Deedee said. "Head General Roxanne, please bring Head Chef Evelyn to her new living quarters she was supposed to occupy six months ago at the restaurant. Please have technician come by to make modifications to her door so she can't just come and go as she wishes." She turns to Evelyn and says, "Please wash up and get ready. You're back in time for the Triton Eclipse Festival tomorrow so you can depute your new menu then. We're looking forward to it.
"Ugh," Evelyn scoffs. "Fine." As Felicity and Gabi approach her to lift her up again she says, "Don't touch me. I can walk for crying out loud."
"Then walk," Roxanne said pushing her.
Evelyn peers over her shoulder at Roxanne and thinks to herself, "Oh yeah. You're definitely going to burn bitch."
A few hours had passed, and Evelyn was sitting on her bed in her new room in some gray pajamas letting her wet hair dry on a towel as Harry was called up to her room to put in a new door since the room she was given was now going to be a prison.
She heard someone come up and start talking to Harry. They were talking for a while and heard Harry call someone and then moved out of the way for someone to come in.
"Whoever you are," Evelyn says. "I'm not interested."
"Awh, Evelyn. Is that really how you're going to greet dear ole' Mister Goob?"
Evelyn shot up and laid her eyes and the grinning man in his raggy pirate attire with his white beard and long hair. She jumped out of bed and ran into him and hugged him so hard that she almost knocked him over. Captain Good hugged her back and then Evelyn said, "Thank you for coming to see me."
"Oh little Lyn," Goob said sincerely, "I'm just so happy you're alive."
"They're forcing me to work the kitchen for the rest of my life. I tried to be a pirate. And I failed and ended up back here," Evelyn was looking down. "I guess I'll be presenting my menu tomorrow at the Triton Eclipse Festival."
Goob reached into his pocket and discreetly put a bag into her hand. "That's good." He smiled. "After all the food is out, I highly suggest you celebrate with a nice cup of tea with that in it.
She looks at the bag and it looks like peppermint mixed with unripe persimmons. She looks back up at Goob and says, "This is going to taste like shit."
"Trust me," Goob said smiling at her. "I'll take my leave now and I'll be excited to see you tomorrow. Goodnight Little Lyn." And he walked out.
Evelyn was just staring at the door. Harry then opened the door and closed it and opened it and repeated a few more times. "Is there a problem?" Evelyn asked him.
Harry smiles at her and says, "No. Just making sure it works. Well, goodnight!"
Harry closes and locks the door and Evelyn looks at the bag Goob had given her. "I don't think Mister Goob has a flavor palate." She whispers to herself.
She looked at a lantern set on her table. She closed her eyes and when she opened them, it was lit.

Evelyn walked into the kitchen and began to check to make sure all her pots and pans were ready and prep all the ingredients.
Delilah walked in and said, "Welcome back!" Evelyn only gave her a mean side eye and then went back to her work. "Oh, come on Evelyn. Say something, please? You've been gone for so long and I've missed you here."
Evelyn uncovered a large tin at her station. She closed it quickly and then reopened it again. She put the lid down and turned to Delilah, "If you want me to talk to you then here. I'm talking to you. Where the hell are my prawns?"
"I… Uhh…" Delilah stuttered.
At the moment the dishwasher, Cyrin, a tall slim but toned man with short brown hair walked in, stopped and looked at Evelyn with a little sense of shock in his expression, and then carried on to his dishwashing station.
"Cyrin Cowell Caldwell," Evelyn said as she faced him.
Cyrin moaned as he turned around, "Come on. You know I hate it when you say my full name. You've been doing that since grade school."
"You've been doing that since grade school," Evelyn mocked. "I don't care. Do you know where my prawns are?"
He walked over and investigated Evelyn's tin to see it empty. "Hold on," he said as he walked into the deep freezer in the back. When he came back, he placed a giant tin in front of her. She opened it to see de-shelled shrimp.
"What the hell is this?" She asked him.
"I don't think the fishermen caught anything lately," he admitted.
"So I have to change my signature dish for some bloody low-grade ingredients?" Evelyn said a little peeved at the situation.
"Seems so," Delilah butted in. "So, chop chop." And she walked out.
Evelyn watched Delilah walk out and then looked at Cyrin who was still staring at the door Delilah walked through and then back at the door and back at Cyrin and said, "Really? Her? She's like way older than you."
"I know," Cyrin said. "What have you seriously not seen the way her booty mov-"
"STOP!" Evelyn shouted. "I don't want to hear another word." She groans as she looks back at the tin of shrimp. "Fine," she said. "Let's just get through this night."
The Triton Eclipse Festival got underway the restaurant started filling quickly as it was the last event of the whole festival. Evelyn began cooking. She set several pots boiling with water and in each one were baskets where she could boil fettuccini noodles as the pots heated up. She seared the shrimp and then once they were orange in color poured in alfredo and marinara sauce, salt, pepper, parsley, and basil and then mixed it together. She then drained the noodles, added them to the pan with the sauce. She then threw in a cup of shredded cheddar cheese to give it a gooey texture. She transferred it to a plate and rang a bell for one of the servers to roll it out.
She repeated this process all night. Plate after plate. When she was finally done, she just sat on the floor of the kitchen trying to catch her breath.
Cyrin finished cleaning his dishes and looked at her, "You good?"
She slowed her breathing and looked at him and said, "Could you prepare me some tea?"
"Tea?" Cyrin smiled. "You think we have tea? Have you forgotten the type of clients we have?"
She pulled out the bag Goob had given her the night before and said, "Please?"
He groaned and took the bag and got to making her tea.
She sat there for moment listening to him work and then began to become very tired.

She then hears a loud noise and gets up to see Cyrin collapsed on the floor. She then hears a lot of clanging in the dining room and rushed out to see three men standing in the middle of the room while everyone else was passed out like Cyrin was. She noticed the three men. Captain Goob, his First Mate Taco, and Second Mate Wasabi.
Smiling, Goob says, "You look alive and well Little Lyn! Why not get that chef's uniform off and come with us! Let's get you off this stinking island for good!"
