Chapter 13 - Gabuslma’s Removal From the Map

Landfall. Walking to meet the love of his heart. "Hello beautiful," The six foot six inch tall man said to the redhaired woman. "Fancy to see you hear. If you will have me, I'd love to take you home later. You look like someone who's will exceed my expectations in extracurricular activities if you know what I mean?"

Pirate Queen, Captain Bloodstone, looks at her husband with annoyance in her face and says, "Blake Black, This is neither the time, nor the place. Especially not for the situation at hand."

"Don't act like you're opposed to that suggestion," The Pirate King teased catching a glimpse of The Pirate Queen blushing. "I knew it."

 "Shut up!" She ordered.

The Pirate King laughed and then looked behind him. Hundreds of the Bloodstone Pirates were making landfall from the fleet. 50% of manpower on land, 50% still at sea. That's how they've always operated.

Marching into view, The Tarragon forces were noticed and stopped from the high point of a hill so it was unclear where their numbers laid. The Pirate King and Queen exchanged glances and began to walk forward. Two Men at the front of the Tarragon Forces began to come forward as well.

They met at the middle between their forces, "Pirate King Captain Blackbeard and Pirate Queen Captain Bloodstone of the Bloodstone Pirates. Surely a surprise to see you lot here. How do I express my gratitude and honor of being in the presence of royalty?"

"One usually states their name first, do they not?" The Queen said.

"I apologize for my associate and his manners. I am General Galady and this here is General Cornichon," The man who is named Galady said.

"Pickle," The Pirate Queen said, "General Pickle, did your parents hate you? And named you Pickle?"

"It's Cornichon," The General said sternly.

"Which translates to Pickle. We've been all over the world and experienced many languages. We know what it translates to," The Queen said.

"Actually in another language it actually translates to Nincompoop but I'm going to have to go with my wife on the Pickle translation." The Pirate King said.

General Cornichon was now getting heated.

General Galady took control of the conversation and said, "So we really don't want to fight."

"Your soldiers say otherwise," The Queen said looking at just the number of forces they could see from where they were standing.

"Right," Galady said looking at their soldiers in view and back at Pirates King and Queen, "We just got word of a certain event that took place here last night and our King wanted us to act on it right away. He's always wanted this island for his own."

"Greedy," The Pirate King said slowly.

General Galady just stared at them not knowing how to respond to that because he agreed.

"Let me say this, General," The Pirate Queen said, "You leave and we won't kill you."

"What possibly could the Bloodstone Pirates have to do with this island turned to rubble?" The General asked.

"Our daughter grew up here," The King said.

The General's eyes went wide. "Daughter? The Pirate King and Queen have a child?"

"Had a child," The Queen said. "She's 19 going on 20 right now. It's been some time.

"Anyway," The King continued, "She had a horrible childhood it seems, so we plan to remove this island from the map."

"Removed from the map?" General Galady repeated.

"You can't do that," General Cornichon said.

"Say's who? Nobody claims this island," The King said.

"No, I mean remove it from the map. That's impossible!" General Cornichon exclaimed.

The Pirate King and Quen began to laugh to each other and then the Queen says, "No. It's possible. This isn't our first rodeo."

"So no agreement can be reached I'm sensing?" General Galady sighed.

"I guess not," The Pirate Queen smiled.

"Then I guess we should go back to our front lines and begin fighting," Galady said as he and General Cornichon walked back to their troops.

"Gladly. See you on the battlefield General Nincompoop," The Pirate King called out as he and his wife walked back to their crew.

"Nincomepoop?" Peter said with a smile to the Pirate King.

"His name is Cornichon," he responded.

"In my heritage it means Pickle," He laughed.

"Yes, it does. Peter, Flower of Liquor," The King joked.

"Peter," The Pirate Queen said, "How much longer?"

"Any second now." The seals started to scream loudly now. "And there it is," Peter smiled.

"Having Orc's in captivity is a pretty stupid thing to do," The King laughed. He turned around to the crew, "So this island had some Orc's in captivity that we let loose. Once we go in, kill every seal and a team up on Orc's. We don't need anyone dying today. We've all done this before." His eyes fell on Harry and Dennis. "Besides you two. Watch what we do. This is how we get things done."

Harry and Dennis nodded in agreement.

The Queen pulled out a simple sword with a crimson blood red blade and the King pulled out two sharp matching black obsidian double-ended axes. Exchanging looks and then looking at the enemy, The Queen yelled, and the force moved forward to the Tarragon Navy forces.

Charging over the hill of where the battle was taking place, the Tarragon forces were scattered all throughout trying to manage their powers against five Orc's as tall as two-story buildings. They charged in and began slaughtering the Tarragon Navy soldiers who were already overwhelmed with being overpowered by the Orc's. Once some of the Navy soldiers were dead, the Pirates would take care of the Orc with much ease compared to the Navy soldiers that were outmatched from the start of the battle.

The power of the Bloodstone Pirates to the Tarragon Navy was a battle of no difficulty. The Tarragon Navy suffered a loss of all their soldiers aside from five and the two General's. The Bloodstone Pirates suffered the loss of none of their crew. Just a few moans and groans of disappoint of not enough Navy soldiers for all of them to fight.

"Well I surely didn't foresee this outcome," The Pirate Queen said with remainder of the Tarragon force chained up in front of them. "I mean I did, just thought you two were more noble and would have laid your life on the line for your solders."

"You're one to talk," General Galady said. "Did you even participate either?"

The Pirate King started to laugh and then said, "Is he serious? Were you even watching? The Pirate Queen and I delivered finishing blows to at least two Orc's."

The General looked down in shame of not paying close enough attention.

"So what to do with you seven?" The Queen pondered.

"Let us go?" General Cornichon suggested.

"Pickles can't talk," She snapped back.

"Oh come on," he gritted his teeth.

"Peter," The Queen said, "would you and your two new boys do the honors of escorting these five men to their ships and send them on their way back home. Sink the rest of the ships."

 "What about us?" Galady yelled.

The Queen looked at the King and he smiled and said, "My dear. You sure are a diabolical one you." He leaned over to look the General's in the eyes and said, "You get to see firsthand how we wipe an island off the map."

"Alright, gunners. If you could please direct your cannons to the island, I have a request," The Pirate King yelled to his crew now that they were back on their ships. "If you can see, there are two giant pillars and if you pay attention to them, you'll see General Galady and General Pickle chained to them." Some of the Pirates started laughing. "Now these General's don't believe we can sink an island. Surely, where they are, they're destined to die. But I want them to at least believe in our capabilities before they perish. Of course, Master Technician Peter has his finishing bomb all ready, but y'all better have fun wreaking havoc in the meantime." The Pirate King pointed at the island and said, "No need to get ready. FIRE!"

The cannons bellowed and exploded in sound as volleys of cannonballs rained on the island. Galandy and Cornichon, still alive, could not believe their eyes at the array of certain death being hurled at them but not exactly hitting them. "ARE THEY TRYING TO MISS US?" Cornichon yelled.

"LOOK AT THE GROUND! LOOK AT THE GROUND!" Galandy yelled. Cannonball after cannonball struck the ground all over the island and with each impact, a crater formed and got deeper and deeper. In only a matter of seconds, the pillars the General's were chained to be all that was left around them and if they were lucky enough to get free, the drop from where they were to the bottom would be a suicide jump.

Just then they heard a beeping and a large black ball that looked like a cannonball the size of a boulder float over the where they were. It hovered between them for a second, and then plummeted down into the deep cavern the pirates had created with their cannon fire.

"That couldn't have been cannon, could it?" General Cornichon asked.

 "It didn't look li-"

The island erupted from within the cavern and the Pirates on the ships cheered in excitement. "That's how we do it!" The King cheered in excitement along with the rest of the Pirates. "Excavation team! Get out there and make sure we did our job. If those General's are still alive by some miracle, put a bullet between the eyes!" Four boats went out to check the blast site to assure the island was gone. "Celebrate Bloodstone's! I will be out shortly to join you." And he entered his and his wife's large Pirate cabin of their ship.

Pirate Queen, Scarlet, was sitting at the bay window of their ship quietly reading a book. She had taken off her Pirate Jacket and replaced it with a blanket and had taken off her boots and just sat quietly, like an innocent young girl, who still looked like she wasn't a day over 30 years old. She was quiet despite the stadium noise outside. Their cabin was soundproof to the point that the ship falling apart would be the only way they'd hear noise outside.

"Are you okay, my love?" Blake Black said to his wife as he walked over to her.

She looked up at him, sighed, and said, "Yeah." Looked back down at her book, closed it and in a sad tone said, "No."

He kneeled to her level and said, "We'll find her," he said. "I promise."

Scarlet had tears in her eyes as she hugged her husband, "I wish we had never left her in the first place!"

Hugging her back he said, "I know. I feel the same way too."

"Why must our mission to fix the wrongs of this world be so dangerous that we had to give up our own daughter?" Scarlet cried.

"She's a young woman now," Blake said. And with Freya's power, she's going to do great things. I'm sure our path's will cross."

"I refuse to believe she's a woman," Scarlet said letting go of her husband. "She's my baby and I want her back."

Blake stroked a streak over Scarlet's hair from covered over her eye and said, "I'm sure our path's will cross, just give it time."

Scarlet sighed. After a moment she said, "I think I just need to talk to my dad."

Blake smiled and said, "Do what you must."

"Just don't bother me for a couple hours," You got it honey. See you in a bit." And he left back out to the ruckus outside.

Scarlet got up from her perch and sat in her chair at her desk. The blanket draped over her left shoulder fell from her shoulder exposing a full arm sleeve of markings that looked like Siren markings. She closed her eyes and the markings glowed bright white, she opened her eyes that now were glowing as well. "Hey dad," she said.
