"Neptune's sack!" Evelyn thought immediately seeing the beast rise from the giant pool.
"There are good and bad news coming from this," Freya says examining the situation.
"The fact that there's bad news at all doesn't level out that there is good news too," Evelyn thinks annoyingly.
"Hear me out," Freya says. "So bad news is that Yo-La-Lu's name is red. This will happen based on your level and how strong the opponent is. Black means the opponent is much stronger than you, red is still stronger than you but not too much, orange is on par of equal strength, blue is close to your strength but weaker, green is weaker for sure, and white is so weak you could probably poke them and win."
"Well at least its name is not black," Evelyn says.
"The good news is the health bar," Freya says. "So, you would be able to know it's health at all times."
"Everyone else doesn't know it has a name though, do they?" Evelyn asks.
"Not even in the slightest, though the system can identify them immediately and if they pose a threat," Freya says.
"Thus the quest," Evelyn says.
"Yeah," Freya admits. "I can give you quests, but not combat quests."
"Evelyn, let's go dammit!" Evelyn snaps back to reality realizing Wasabi had been yelling at her to follow him and she does so and wondering why Jackson ran back to the ship.
"So we just gong to out ourselves as pirate now?" Taco said as he meets Goob, Evelyn, Wasabi, Fawn, and Bobo at the center of the park as people run around frantically.
"Afraid so," Goob says eyeing the beast. "It'll fetch us an interesting price though."
Kanaka and Laylee showed up wit Kanaka holding several weapons and Laylee holding a sack of armor. They place them in the middle and they start equipping their armor and equipping their weapons. Evelyn just stood there watching them getting dressed.
Jackson shows up and hands Evelyn a black ball that's a little squishy. "It's like my technician outfit," He says as he smacks the ball on his chest and the ball materialized to give him a type of armor. Evelyn smack it on herself and it tingles as it covers her body just cutting off at the neck.
"Evelyn, you can use that sword again," Goob says.
"No need," Evelyn says as she summons the Delicate Bashers onto her hands. "I'm covered.
The crew was staring at her for a moment until Bobo broke the silence, "Oh for fucks sake! Your powers can materialize weapons too?"
"I guess you're not the only one now huh?" Kanaka teases.
"Shut up," he says. "Anyways, why gauntlets? Don't you see we're going against a giant beast? You think you're going to get close enough to punch it?"
Evelyn cast a fireball in her hand that was just floating, then threw it to her other hand until she was just juggling fire.
"Okay I get it. Stop showing off," Bobo said annoyed.
Evelyn studied everyone and their weapons. Bobo was wearing dark purple armor with padding and his weapon was his ukulele. He has powers as a Bard and can summon whatever he wants through song. Kanaka was finally wearing something that fit him. He was wearing a type of heavy armor and a large club. Laylee wore a yellow light armor suit with a crossbow and quiver of bolts. Wasabi and Taco had their usual weapons, but Wasabi had throwing knives and Taco had a handgun for ranged weapons too. Freya squeezed a crystal in her hand and materialized a crystal bow and when she pulled back the string, a crystal arrow would materialize. As far as crystal powers go, Goob and Freya both had them. Goob squeezed his crystal and his trident appeared. Though it was a little different now cause the fork part was only hovering in place of the staff. She looked at Jackson and was wide eyed to see him sporting a fully automatic rifle.
"Where the hell have you been hiding that?" Evelyn asked.
"I'm a technician," Jackson said. "We don't have powers, but we're trained in the arts of mechromancing. Plus, you're one to talk," referencing to her gauntlets.
"A girl has her secrets," she smiled.
Yo-La-Lu began her attack on the people as a light blue light shone on her underbelly and then let out a light blue beam that caused things to freeze into ice instantly. Based on how fast it reacted, it was safe to assume the people caught by the beam were dead.
"Listen," Goob said to them. "Hit it hard, hit it heavy. And once you find an opening using your tactics, let us know immediately!"
"That's the plan?" Evelyn said as everyone branched out.
Bobo set himself up on the shore and sang, "Give me a shield to make these powers yield and give me a turret to turn this serpent to a turnip!" And Evelyn was surprised to see a shield turret summon into existence. He jumped behind it right away and began firing at the beast.
Fawn and Laylee broke off like a team firing crystal arrows and crossbow bolts at the beast. Wasabi and Taco used some type of ninja art to walk on water to attack the beast with their weapons as Goob glided across the water with his crystal powers and swung his trident where the fork detached but was acting like it was some type of fishing pole that would cut the beast. Though being able to see the health bar, wasn't doing much damage to the beast.
Kanaka is what really caught Evelyn's eye. "Kanaka! You have powers too?" Evelyn exclaimed. Kanaka was summoning large rocks in mid air and used his club to launch them at the beast.
"Yeah," He admitted. "It's only useful for fighting though. Don't expect to see it again for anything other reason."
Noticing Jackson left her side; she finally noticed him bouncing from building to slides behind them perching in positions and letting off shot on the beast. Since the beast was still letting off beams, he had to move quick.
"I suggest casting a fireball at the ice it creates to melt it just incase anybody does live," Freya said.
"Not a bad idea," Evelyn responding and threw fireballs at the places where ice had already built up. After that, she got into a position on the shore and fire emitted in her gantlets. She throws her arm back and punches in the air in the direction of the beast and watches as a fireball launches from her gauntlet into the face of the beast. She smiled as she saw the biggest chunk of the beast's HP go down so far, and then the smile went away when the monster composed itself and bad its eyes focus solely on her and say the notification.

"That's bullshit! These beasts have skills too!" Evelyn said.
"Yeah, unfortunately," Freya said. "As a Siren with no system, we took attacks head on to find those out."
The beast had focused its attention on Evelyn now, "Shit. I think I pulled its attention on me," Evelyn said as she started to run from her spot. Yo-La-Lu was no longer shooting beams but icicle spears. One hit from those was enough to put a hole clean through someone. Evelyn ran behind Bobo, and he almost pissed himself as an icicle pierced his turret's shield but stopped far to be inches away from his face. Kanaka was smarter and burrowed himself underground. Earth powers, just wow. From how much.
From how much the beast could produce at a time, Evelyn was able to finally catch her breath when it stopped. "IT'S FACE!" Evelyn screamed as loud as she could. "AIM AND SHOOT AT ITS FACE! QUICKLY TOO! IT'S GETTING STRONGER THE WEAKER IT GETS!"
Nobody understood how she determined that but with the new attack it just put out, there wasn't much doubt that she was wrong. What Evelyn didn't understand and now that the best was getting hit in the face by all of them, it's health still was only going down as much as when they attacked the other parts of its body.
"Is it really just my attack that did all that damage? Or that's doing any damage?" Evelyn thought to Freya.
"I'm as confused as you," Freya said shamefully.
Evelyn readied herself again and did multiple fire blasts from her gauntlets at the beast as it was hit a few times, it then leapt into the air and quickly swung it's tail around hitting Wasabi and launching him into a building.
"WASABI!" Evelyn yelled out.
"KEEP ATTACKING!" Taco scolded her. "I'M THE DOCTOR! I GOT HIM!" And he leapt into the building Wasabi crashed through.
Evelyn tried to push aside that one of them might be hurt because the rest of them could get hurt at anytime as well. She cocked her hand back again casting a large fireball and aim at the beasts face again to do a lot of damage. But she didn't expect that the beast had learned the first time those fireballs are dangerous and with its boosted speed, avoided the blast and the outer wall of Waterworld behind it came crumbling down.
"I believe I can fly! Help Kanaka touch the sky!" Bobo sang and a catapult summoned and launched him to the opening in the Waterwold wall.
He landed and repaired it with his powers and said, "Don't want this thing escaping us!" Try not to damage the wall!"
Goob got his trident to wrap around the beast's neck and pulled its head down and yelled, "HIT IT HARD!"
"Starlight, starbright, rain a meteor upon is tonight!" Bobo sand as a meteor materialized from the sky. Evelyn quickly shot a fireball out at it giving the meteor enhanced fire damage. "OH HELL YEAH!" Bobo yelled.
The Meteor crashed on Yo-La-Lu's head and the notification came up.

[Yo-La-Lu will be immune to all damage for 5 minutes]
"FUCK! FUCK! FUCK! FUUUCCCKKK!" Evelyn thought.
"You're sounding more and more like your mother every day," Freya said.
"Shut up! That's not helping! This is NOT the time!" Evelyn lashed out.
Yo-La-Lu turned its face towards the sky and began to charge an attack. Jackson dropped down from a slide and came to Evelyn's side, "I feel like my last couple shots did no damage," he said.
"They didn't," she said. "Whatever attack it's getting ready to cast, it's immune as it's charging up."
Evelyn's eyes widened at a realization, "Ice fire," she said.
"I'm sorry but what did you just say?" Jackson said.
"Ice fire," she said again.
"Okay, so I did hear you correctly. What in Neptune's Beard is that?" Jackson asked.
Evelyn broke off a chunk of an Icicle spear nearby them and when she casted her fire on it, it dissipated like dry ice instead of melting like normal ice. When she had casted fireballs before to the different places the monster's beams hit before, she didn't pay too much attention to what was happening because the smoke she saw she quickly assumed it was from her fire.
Yo-La-Lu's attack finally casted high into the air and then it reached its height, separated, and began its decent back down.
"GET TO COVER!" Goob yelled. He scaled up the wall to Kanaka who summoned a stone fortress around them both. Fawn and Laylee were luckily near an indent in the wall they were able to hid inside of. Taco and Wasabi were already inside a building where Taco was attending to the hit Wasabi had taken earlier.
Bobo grouped with Evelyn and Jackson as they entered a building to see a lot of the people who could not get away hiding out in the building. "Fuck," Evelyn finally said out loud.
"There are children present," Bob says to her.
"Oh don't give me that you womanizer," Evelyn moaned. Bobo couldn't help but smile at his shot down attempt at being an adult, despite that he's 30 years old.
"Everyone, quickly, please huddle up in the corners of the building!" Jackson said without dropping a beat.
Evelyn and Bobo joined Jackson's instructions and huddled up in the corners too.
A little kid next to Evelyn said, "Miss, your hair is really pretty."
She smiled and said, "Aw. Thank you."
"Like raspberries and strawberry soda and- and- and- meat," the kid continued.
"Are you hearing this Jackson?" Evelyn said. "Why don't you give me compliments like this? This kid is out 'wooing' you." She smiled at her teasing and then pat the kid on the head, "Thank you so much for the kind words. Promise me you'll stay safe in here?" The kid nodded with a smile.
A rumble shook the whole place like an earthquake and then a few parts of the roof caved in and hail the size of baseballs rained in. Then the size of bowling balls. Then the size of large beach balls. Evelyn quickly started to heat them up and they started to dissolve into steaming ice.
"Well that's not something you see every day," Bobo said once the sky stopped falling watching Evelyn melting the ice.
"She says it's ice fire," Jackson laughed. "Can you believe that?"
"Well it sure makes sense," Bobo said.
Shocked, Jackson says, "Excuse me?"
"What? Did you think ice fire isn't a real thing?" Bobo was now laughing at Jackson. "We haven't dealt with a beast that's adept with ice fire in years but it's helpful. Luckily this time we have Evelyn." He looks at her and says, "We're going to be working hard to make sure you have a lot of openings for attacks."
They walk out of the building and spread-out seeing Yo-La-Lu was on its rampage again. Bobo gets clear and yells, "CAPTAIN! IT'S NOT ICE! IT'S ICE FIRE!"
Goob looks at Bobo, looks at the beast, then looks at Evelyn, then addresses the crew "YOU HEARD HIM! GIVE EVELYN AS MANY OPENINGS AS HUMANLY POSSIBLE!"
Goob skates down the side of the wall and hooks his trident around the beast neck again and swings its face around so Evelyn can take shots at it. Luckily, when Goob has it hooked, it can't dodge her attacks this time.
Evelyn hits the beast square in the face with a fire blast and it goes down. The team cheers. All except for Evelyn who can see the health bar.

[25% HP reached. Attack power and Speed doubles. Defense down 5%]
While it was down. Evelyn quickly tried to cast another fireball until a sudden crash sounded and a large portion of the wall came down. Kanaka retreated from the wall and in the crack was a large ship with a Yellow Jolly Roger atop of it with a black skull and crossbones, but the skull was in the shape of a flowers and the crossbones looked like spears.
The beast was up again facing the ship. Goob looked at the beast, then the ship and said, "OH FOR FUCKS SAKE. THE DAISY PIRATES? GET OUT OF HERE CAPTAIN FLORA! THIS IS OUR BEAST!"
The green slender female pirate captain of the Daisy Pirates, Captain Flora, came into few off the side of the ship and said, "It doesn't matter whose beast it is. It only matters who kills the beast. It's pirate code Afterall. It looked like you've weakened it enough for me anyway. So I must thank you for that."
"FUCK YOU!" Captain Goob yells.
He runs up the wall and immediately his trident is met by Captain Flora's sturdy forest green colored and vine detailed trident. "I guess this is a battle among captain then!"
