Jackson and Kanaka returned to the gates of Waterworld after seeing the explosion from the other side of the wall to see the sea beast focusing on them again and the Daisy ship cannons immobilized. The most frightening thing of them all is that out of them all, it was focusing on Evelyn the most.
Yo-La-Lu leapt out of the water and swung its tail at Evelyn. With Kanaka's quick thinking he was able to summon a trench all along the shore of the park so Evelyn was able to avoid the attack and Bobo, Kanaka, Jackson, and Laylee could take cover too.
The wind the attack kicked up was so powerful that it pulled Captain Goob and Fawn out of the water and to the far end of the park. Goob and Fawn were able to use their crystal powers to not end up crashing to a point where they would be injured but they were surely shocked by the power the monster had now.
Jackson made it to Evelyn in the trench and grabbing her asked, "Are you okay?"
Looking up at his and his adorable face of worry on his face Evelyn replied with a smile, "Happy as can be."
He embraced Evelyn tightly in his arms and whisper, "I'm so happy. I don't know what I'd do if I lost you."
Evelyn looked down at the words and thought to herself, "I feel the same. But I'm going to be the one protecting you here."
"Do you have any idea how to approach this?" Freya asked.
"As my mentor, I thought you'd have a suggestion," Evelyn thought.
"Nope," Freya said. "I never really fought many sea beasts all my life."
"Great," Evelyn thought. She pulled up the inventory and noticed something. She then pulled open the shop and smiled as she scrolled along the list.
"Doing some like shopping before you die?" Freya asked.
"Not exactly," she said. "Killing those bastard pirates just might have saved my life." She pressed purchase on a pair of bracers and then summoned to her hands.

"You know you could really end the world with those bracers if you wanted to," Freya said.
"Not with the amount of limited MP I have." Evelyn read her max MP count.

"Okay," She admitted. "Maybe." Evelyn understood the system's MP calculation. Whatever her Magic stat was, her Magic Power was calculated at that number multiplied by 2 and then then multiplied by10 so the stat increase from the Bracers is essential for its active skill working to its full intent.
Evelyn sprinted down the trench throwing 100 flames in the air above them. And watch as they were shooting at Yo-La-Lu from above. While safe from below, they could feel wind fly by and Ice Fire attacks that the heat from the flames put out immediately. Once they reached 10 on their counters, one by one they launched at Yo-La-Lu.
Hearing explosion after explosion the team was wide eyed as they looked at Evleyn and wondered just how powerful she was. Evelyn peeked over the top of the trench to see the beast flailing about not being able to dodge or withstand the array of attacks Evelyn set on it. She slid back down as Goob and Fawn finally made it to them and into the trench.
"Hey Mom. Hey Dad," Evelyn smiled at them.
They both glared at Evelyn. She could read complete exhaustion on their faces.
Evelyn saw the notification.

"I thought with more people that beasts would be a little easier. This one is surely one of the stronger ones I've faced," Goob said. "I guess Wasabi down for the count and Taco treating him is quite the hinder too."
Evelyn stood up and said, "Then just rest for a bit as I finish off Yo-La-Lu." Realizing what she just said she looked at Goob with his mouth ajar.
"You know, when you name something it's usually when you keep it as a pet, not when you're going to kill it," Goob coughed as he laughed. "Ugh," he moaned. "Yeah, just finish that thing off. We're all tired."
Evelyn studied the team and could see they were all battered and exhausted from the fight they've been in.
"A little unfair of the abilities you have huh?" Freya said. "Good choice on the bracers. I agree. Finish it."
Evelyn rushed down the trench again throwing up the flames and waited until they launched at Yo-La-Lu and they could all hear the beast wailing. This time they all peeked a look over the trench and watched as the beast fell.

"That's a lot more than I was told would get rewarded," Evelyn thought.
"Yeah, at level 7, different conditions that took place during big missions like this stockpile into additional rewards once completed," Freya said.
"But I just breezed past it," Evelyn thought.
"But the exp stockpiled through it so it calculated," Freya said. "Anyway, it's nice you now know Flame Step. If you remember, that's what I was using before leaving my temple."
Excitedly, Evelyn thought, "Really? I thought that skill was so cool!"
"Evelyn! Let's go! We need to get this thing in the ship!" Kanaka called out to her. She looked around her and realized she was the only one now standing on the beach.
Bobo had summoned a long tarp that the crew put the dead beast onto and then Jackson used the Mechromancer arts for flying drones to pick up the beast and haul it to the ship. Kanaka and Goob got into the ship and pulled out from the docks, turned around, and backed back in.
Realizing they were moving this beast would alarm people but looking around she realized that all the boats that were there before were now all gone. "Looks like that Popeye guy got all the people out and left." She said.
"Popeye?" Laylee said. "Popeye S. M. Spinach? You saw him?"
"Yeah," Evelyn answered. "He wasn't happy pirates were here, but he didn't care since getting everyone out was more important to him."
"Oh," Laylee said. Then yelled to the crew, "HEY! EVELYN SAID SHE SAW SPINACH! SINCE EVERYONE IS GONE THEN WE DON'T HAVE TOO MUCH TIME LEFT!"
"Woah, what?" Evelyn said confused.
"Spinach is the worlds most renowned Pirate Hunter. Retired Naval Military but he has no problem coming out when they're around his precious Waterworld," Bobo answered for her.
The back of the ship opened, and Evelyn could see a huge room with suspended chains and a glass bottom floor. From the number of stairs on the side it was about three stories in height. "So, this is what's at the bottom of the ship?" She asked.
"We have to put the beasts somewhere," Laylee laughed.
They loaded the beast into the ship, chained it up and closed the door. Goob jumped down and said, "Do a once over the park and then get in so we can sail out." He spoke. "I gotta grab something," and he ran off.
"Where do you think he's going?" Laylee asked.
Fawn said, "You saw his battle with the Daisy Pirate Captain. He probably went to get her Trident and claim Victory. I doubt she survived that explosion Evelyn created."
"Well we had to do something," Evelyn said shyly. "From what Goob said it sounded like they were trying to take it away from us. Plus, I was a little annoyed after 25 guys of the crew tried to kill me."
Jackson, who had been silent during this exchange, spoke up and said, "WHAT?"
"When the hell did this happen?" Fawn said.
"I'm really not being supervised, am I? It's surely a really unfamiliar feeling back to how I was treated on the island," Evelyn smiled.
"Well, shit. Fuck. Dammit Evelyn," Jackson fumbled, "25 people? They tried to kill you?"
Smiling, she replied, "If 'try' is the word you want to use, yeah. It's more of a 'do or do not. There is no try' type of ordeal. I did the do and alive, they did not. At least not anymore."
"I think I've read that saying somewhere?" Laylee said.
"I've only heard it in a movie," Bobo said.
"Well let's get a move on," Fawn said as she moved back into the park. "Jackson, Bobo, come with me back into the water. Look for any loose scales." And they dove back into the water.
Evelyn sat down and opened her main interface.

Evelyn then looked at her health and magic and made a face. "I'm at full health but my MP says 770/800."
"Yeah, health regenerates naturally. Magic power regenerates by eating food," Freya answered like she was delivering bad news.
"Are you okay Evelyn," Laylee said.
Evelyn shifted her attention to her, "Yeah. Why do you ask?"
"Well you just made a weird face and you've been really quiet all this time," she said.
"Sorry, I was just in thought," She smiled.
Fawn, Bobo, and Jackson emerged from the water with Bobo carrying a large bag. "So yeah, there a lot of scales."
Jackson held up a smaller bad and said, "There was also some fur from its mane too!"
[A threat approaches]
"You have got to be kidding me," Evelyn says out loud.
"Something wrong Evelyn?" Fawn asks.
She looks over the to giant pool where they fought the beast as a few health bars show up to hundreds begin to pop up.
[Megladastrodon Sharks have appeared.]

"SHIT!" Evelyn yells.
A loud boom and ominous roars and growling emit all around them and the water starts to bubble like a boiling pot. "What is that?" Laylee says quietly.
Evelyn sprints towards the water with her increased speed from her Bracers of Hellfire. She uses Flame step launching into the air. Looking down she grunts telling herself that she's not high enough. She creates a step in the air launching herself higher and higher until she could see that she was way above even the highest point of Waterworld and then some. Seeing the monstrous sharklike humanoid creatures emerge from the water, Evelyn throws flames all around her. Hundreds of them. Locking on all the creatures from her height, she cast them immediately down like meteors of death. Raining down on them like hellfire.
"Evelyn! You need to stop! This is not a fight you can win!" Freya cries out to her.
Evelyn pushed Freya's voice to the back of her head. She did not know why she was reacting the way she was but all she could think about was killing these things. And then she saw it. The first creature she could see, and its name is black. From the exhaustion of draining her HP, she began to fall and was fighting the will of passing out.
As she falls, she sees a Megladastrodon Shark three times the size of Yo-La-Lu rip through the Daisy ship and glare at Evelyn as she falls.
"EVELYN! SHIT! GET… OUT… R… CHHHH…"
"Freya?" Evelyn said softly and slowly as she started to cut out and began to sound distorted.
"CHHHH… EVEL… YN… R… CHHHH… LYN… GET… RU…"
"Freya!" She called out.
"EVELYN… RUN!" Freya's command finally got out.
A pain started to send shocks to her brain. Looking at the massive Megladastrodon, she saw it. Standing atop of the beast was not a man, not a woman, not a fishman, not a merperson, and not an orc. On top of this beast, Evelyn was sure of it, with it's gray skin, pointed ears, standing at least eight feet tall and a frightening muscular build, this was a species they had not seen on their planet before. And the most frightening thing about them is they can control sea beasts with deadly powers that are outmatched for even the strongest sea beast hunters.
Continuing to fall as she stares at this creature with blurry vision, she see's the ground approaching, and fast. With beasts all around waiting to feast. She can't keep up her focus any longer. Everything goes black.
