Chapter 20 - Might be

As Zion and the others were falling, he looked at them and his brows furrowed, knowing that if they weren't careful, some would get serious injuries and he didn't even know whether or not there were any of the healers among the groups with them.

Zack's eyes narrowed as he looked at the area they were falling in and from what he noticed, they were not that far from the floor, they fell from and he braced for impact, since he didn't know what would be underneath them.

Some of the others held onto each other for support, since they didn't want to get hurt as well and upon seeing a dim light, they looked at each other.

"Hey, guys, hold onto each other and brace for impact, try your best not to land on anything that can harm you, focus on where you should land and slightly move your body that side, even if it's by force," Zack said and the ones who were from Cyron's team looked at him then nodded.

At the moment they didn't have a choice but to do that because they didn't know where they were or what they might even bump into next.

After a few minutes, everyone prepared to land and when they saw a few broken pillars before them, they all separated from each other and aimed for each of the pillars, while others aimed for parts of the ground that had nothing harmful.

Each of them landed on the parts they chose and some even landed on each other, though one and two of them got hurt.

"Are you guys okay?" Zion asked as he landed on his feet in a clear part of the room and they looked at him then got up from the ground and he stood up.

"Yeah, we are fine, just where the hell are we?" Goran asked and Zion glanced at them, feeling as though they may have a problem and he decided to look around the room.

As he was walking around the room, he noticed bones on the ground and he pulled back.

When one of the girls saw it, she jumped back in a bit of fright and Gorna grabbed onto her arm.

"Bones..." Goran mumbled then he looked at Zion as did Lila, who was with them as well and a few others, now they were all mixed up.

"What kind of bones are these? There is only one path ahead as well, we have to find a way and get back to the others, we don't know what's down here and from these bones, I can tell that there is no way, it's good," Goran said and Zion glanced at him then nodded.

"We are in a room which has no door to go back and we cannot go back the way we fell from, we can only go forward, we have to follow the only path available to us or we can risk it and stick around, if we want to get back to the others, we have to get moving," Zion replied and Goran looked at him.

"You are right, we cannot stay here, let's move ahead," Goran said.

"Are you forgetting that we have a challenge? How are we supposed to do that in this situation? How are we supposed to just go along with him? A guy from Gorna's team asked and Gornan turned to look at him.

"Hey, I am not looking to be your teammate, if you want you can simply go off on your own that is your choice, but I do advise you, that in this situation it may be best for us to stick together, but if you don't want to then by all means, go ahead," Zion responded and the young man gritted his teeth.

"First you talked to our superior like crap earlier and now you are just showing attitude, what do you think of yourself?" He asked and Zion sighed, knowing that they shouldn't be wasting time, since something else may indeed be in the dungeon, something that was not supposed to be there in the first place.

"Hey, cut it out, whether you like it or not we will work together, if you want to stay alive, you will stay put as well because this is our only option, none of us knows what is ahead," Goran responded.

"Tell me, what if you bump into something that you are not strong enough to fight, then what, huh? Who do you think will come to save you in such a place?" Zion said.

"Get your act together and let's go when the others aren't here, I am in charge, we don't have time to waste, don't get me on my nerves right now," Goran added and the guy scoffed as he turned away and Zion glanced at him.

"Fine, whatever, let's just get this over with," He said and Goran sighed, since he knew that they might bump into a few problems if the others didn't get along as he was getting a bad feeling about the dungeon.

'There might be a boss within this dungeon, I have had this feeling before and the things that are happening right now, hmm, in a dungeon that's supposed to be small time and good for low-level people, that young man may be right, what does his boss think of what he was saying?' Zion wondered.

His brows furrowed as he looked at their way out of the room that they were in and he sighed.

"Let's get a move on," He said as he walked away and the others looked at each other then followed him as he entered, without showing any sign of fright.

Some of them felt a little different seeing how Zion was just a newbie, yet the way he was taking the lead, made him look as though he didn't care and knew more.

As they were walking down the pathway, the lights on the wall lit and they bumped into a few human skeletons and before anyone could scream or cause a fuss, Goran looked at them, showing them to hush.

Zion noticed that there were blood stains on the wall and his brows furrowed, wondering what more was in the dungeon.
