As the building rumbled, Zion took them through the next path, which was right beside the chamber, leading to the front right side of the dungeon and it was not as long as the way they took to come inside.
After entering the path, things began falling to their feet and some of the others flinched when they saw some among the things that fell, were bones.
"Ugh... Dungeons really are irritating at times, I hate bumping into these things, I am not so sure dungeons are my call," Lila said and Nicolas chuckled.
"Relax, these things are normal, soon enough you will get used to it, as long as you are strong enough to survive, there is no need to worry," Nicolas replied and the girl smiled at him then Zion glanced back at them.
"Ugh, how long is this going to go on? I left master to come on my own and get stronger, to get to unlock my so-called core, in order to get what I want, I have to get to the place I once was or even started,' Zion thought.
Rivar approached Zion and tapped him on the shoulder and Zion glanced at him with his brows furrowed.
"What is it?" Zion asked.
"You are acting weird, what's going on with you lately, Zion?" Rivar asked and Zion lowered his gaze a little as a few things ran through his thought.
"It's nothing, don't worry about it, also you should know one thing before we get back, I plan on leaving," Zion responded and at the same time, Rivar stopped walking and Cyron glanced at him as he passed by him, wondering what was wrong.
"Are you serious? You were serious all along?" Rivar asked as he rushed forward and Zion sighed as he looked ahead of them and saw a little bit of light.
"We are almost there," Zion said as the rumbling got louder and the shaking increased much more than it was before.
'This is not good, come on, hurry up, this place is going under," Zion said as he rushed forward.
The path behind them began collapsing, so there was no chance of turning around after that and had to keep going no matter what or it may be too late.
After a few minutes, they saw they were getting closer to the exit and just then, they finally exited the dungeon and came out onto the grass plain, where they saw they were at the side of the dungeon.
"We made it out," Rivar said and the others smiled then they came to a stop and turned around.
They all looked on as the dungeon began sinking into the ground and Zion exhaled deeply then they smiled and some of them sat down on the ground, inhaling the fresh air.
"What time is it?" One of them asked and Rivar glanced at him.
"It's midday apparently," Rivar responded.
"From the day we left to now, it's been about one day and a half, not as long as we thought it would be," Zion responded and they looked at him.
"You are right, it was cleared faster than expected," Cyron said as he looked at the dungeon which kept on sinking and he smiled a little.
"Well, Zion, it would seem that you won the challenge, didn't you?" Cyron asked and Zion glanced at him as he was sitting on the ground then he sighed and stood up.
"Yeah, I did, but I don't really care about that," He responded.
'If that's so then let's talk later, when we get back to the city, I have something to tell you about what my boss wants," Cyron said and Zion glanced at him with his brows furrowed, wondering what he was talking about.
"Huh? Your boss? The royal or whatever?" Zion asked and Cyron nodded with a smile on his face.
"I see, well, we can talk about that later if you want, besides I will be leaving the city after this, I have places to be," He responded and Cyron's brows furrowed.
"I see, then that sort of makes things easier for me, we will talk indeed," Cyron said and Rivar glanced at Zion then he exhaled deeply before smiling a bit.
"Do you guys want to relax a little or shall we get going?" Nicolas asked as he looked at the others, as did Cyron.
"No, I think we have had enough of this, let us just head on back and we can relax there," Goran responded and they nodded.
Everyone gathered the things they had and placed them in the carriage they came with then they got in and with no time to waste, they took off, heading back to the city they came from.
But, throughout the entire way, not once did Rivar ask Zion anything, since he didn't know whether he should or not because he knew Zion's situation was slightly different and Zion did tell him once before that when the times were right, he would be leaving.
'I have been with Zion for quite some time now but I do not know that much about him, I don't even know where he came from but if he is actually leaving soon...' Rivar thought before lowering his head a little.
Zion glanced at him and saw then he exhaled deeply before bracing his head back against the carriage, trying to relax a little.
After closing his eyes, Zion began remembering something that happened to him during his past and his brows furrowed as he paid attention to it and flames spread across what he was seeing as though his mind was on fire and he reopened his eyes.
After a little while on the road, by afternoon, they finally arrived at the entrance of the city and Zion looked outside then the carriage came to a halt and they all exited the carriage.
"Now, shall we head over to the one that hired us?" Zion asked and at the same time, the assistant of the guy was passing by and when he saw them, he smiled and then approached them.
"You guys are back," He said and Zion looked at him then nodded.
"Are you guys leaving already?" Cyron asked.
"Yeah, we will go meet the one that hired us," Zion responded and Cyron nodded then the two left with the assistant.
